  1. Duplicate thread of this one. Covered a few things there, though I assumed his specs were up to scratch.
  2. If you ask me, this thread has attracted so much spam because it has been itself spammed with scores of links. Use [ url = newegg.blah.de.blah] Motherboard [ url ] Instead of - Motherboard Maybe it's just pure coincidence, but I've noticed it happen a few times before, here and elsewhere.
  3. I can't remember now, I'm AFK. I think there is a dc_bios.bin and a dc_flash.bin. It's as it says in the readme!
  4. Just google for it, there are dozens of links to the bios files. Some will be corrupt but you will get working ones too. Try Filefront first. Nope, that's of no consequence.
  5. Aside from it being against the board rules, I have had it for about 5 years so I doubt the torrent would still be alive. Anyway, I thought you were having this problem with all the games? Well something is missing or conflicting, but it could be a million different things. Try using the 'Normal Boot' option then select 'no disk' to just boot into the normal DC menu. Is that even working? If not then it sounds like your bios file(s) are to blame.
  6. Try v1.03 instead, found here. Also don't try full screen right away. Just try to get the game running in a window first then step it up to full screen.
  7. At which point does it crash? Which version of NullDC are you using, the latest beta? I used v1.03 and it worked fine.
  8. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Don't worry, you aren't missing anything. I spent an hour or so with it and it's just as average as the first installment. Funny too that I hadn't barely picked up GTA until a couple of days ago, then an hour later and Saints Row 2 appears on the good old internet! There just isn't any comparison. The difference in the quality of gfx alone is plain as day. The cars in GTA handle 'realistically' which I didn't like but I can live with - the cars in SR2 handle as if physics wasn't 'invented'. Another DL disc wasted! I really wanted it to be good too
  9. I just tried it, using the kalisto version of MvC2, dropped it into bin2boot GUI, selected the normal boot in NullDC, then navigated to the .cdi file and it worked first time. It is very slow but then my PC isn't up to spec for DC emulation anyway. Make sure DirectX/VC++ libraries are all there, as it says in the readme too.
  10. That dll is part of DirectX. Make sure you have a fully updated version. Go here, download that and update. Also you can use 'dxdiag' in Start>Run to give you info about your DirectX installation.
  11. Likely it isn't self-booting. Go here and hopefully that should get you going.
  12. Yeah, I have all of those ones too. Spy Hard is probably my favourite, though Wrongfully Accused and Repossessed aren't bad either. Not Oscar material by any means, but still a good laugh.
  13. It still amazes me how anyone can take an insult from a complete stranger personally, especially on the internet. Rise above it fools. Damn.
  14. If it was Ashton Kutcher or someone then they'd be all up in here with tears and tissues. To be honest, Newman was a great actor, he just didn't happen to appear in many films that I liked. R.I.P
  15. I think it was more that he already owns the list of games that he posted, yet somehow they have all become inexplicably too scratched for his Xbox to read. Now all he requires is assistance in acquiring some backups to replace those which he already owns. No? I would post you them but I live too far away. I'm assuming that you don't live in the UK that is.
  16. I have about half of those games 'backed up'. Why do you ask?
  17. Grab Auto Installer Deluxe 4.30 instead. It was only released very recently. Slayers is massively out of date. AID will give you all the latest dashes, apps and emus too.
  18. Arrested Development I have watched so many times it's absurd. It is the funniest series I have ever seen. It was never appreciated enough domestically hence it was pulled mid third season. Highly recommended. TNG I used to watch a lot but IMO DS9 is better. More raw and dark than TNG but ultimately more enjoyable for it.
  19. I watched the first series and no more. It was just too far fetched even then, and I've heard it's only got much worse since. I can live without it. Actually what little I did watch of the 4400 (first 3 episodes), it was indeed better than Heroes. Better acting and a better premise. I'd rather watch a great old show over and over again than stick with some mediocre crap, purely because it's new. Of the current series I only watch Dexter, CSI : Miami, The Shield and Curb Your Enthusiasm. I do watch a lot of defunct series repeatedly if they are worth it, mostly Seinfeld and Arrested Development.
  20. I reckon 90%+ of XPs Pro users wouldn't know the difference if they had Home but with a Pro boot screen. Definitely use an original XP disc though. As Cinder said, those recovery discs are usually full of crap. The only thing is that you may have to search out some drivers by yourself, or if you know how you could grab them from the recovery disc. It shouldn't be a problem anyway, as long as your ethernet card is recognised so you can at least access the internet.
  21. You do realise that you can import all your FF bookmarks, cookies, saved passwords etc over to Chrome?
  22. I was thinking of a Blue Dragon review. I have put 150 hours into it so far, I reckon I could muster a decent review.
  23. Aww, tell me now or I'll not sleep tonight.
  24. How in the world would you need that many tabs open? Surely the RAM usage would be through the roof? I have around 100, spread over 10 folders. Usually 4-5 tabs open.
  25. About 5-6. I don't get to nap during the week cause I work from11am-9pm but over the weekend I nap all over the place but it screws my sleep pattern up for during the week again. I've always been one for sitting up to all hours of the morning anyway so I'm used to it.
