  1. It is still the killer app for me on the 360. Replay value is insane, so many different ways to approach the game. It is completely up to you if you want to do any missions or just make your own story as you go along. Level up, or don't, whatever you like. Not to mention the expansive DLC available. Don't forget to check out the UESP Wiki for a mountain of information. It made the game so much better for me knowing some of the levelling tricks, and other tips. It also has one of the largest gaming areas I have ever seen. GTA4 is big too, but I find it dull compared to this.
  2. I've only played maybe 7-8 of these myself, mostly their Xbox counterparts too. I use different consoles for different types of games, so I never play a big range of games/genres on just one platform. PS2/DC I would mostly use for shooters (like R-Type, Raiden not FPS), so most of these I will never play. Why 36 anyway? Is it due to the fact that there are a million 'best of' lists already and this is the only way remaining to differentiate between them EDIT : VC is indisputably deserving of at least a top 36 place. Maybe it's just the 80s theme that gets me but come on!
  3. Me also. I've never been a fan of 3D fighters, and a long time fan of GTA, so I'd be heavily biased. I'd say if solo play is a big consideration, then I'd much rather have GTA.
  4. Just as well, as Yoda is pretty much just a novelty, and Vader seems to be the only 1 of the 3 SW characters worth using.
  5. I've never paid for software in my life, but that doesn't mean I can get any app I want at any given time. Some drivers are unfortunately nigh on impossible to locate for free.
  6. Care to share? Is it free? I seem to recall Driver Genius and Driver Magician in the past. They are both much the same IIRC. They scan for hardware, reference it with some database or other and download drivers as requested. The downloads are free, the apps themselves aren't.
  7. I don't know if this is a legitimate question or not but here goes.. Save the video as an flv. You can grab it using Firefox addons or Keepvid. Convert the flv to avi using any freely available flv>avi tools. Then you can strip out the audio part using VirtualDubMod. I'm sure there is a 100 times more efficient method but this is easy and it works.
  8. I'm also assuming you acknowledge that English is spoken outside of the US? I realise we don't have as good a grip on it as you American folks, but we try our bestest
  9. As fumanchu said, you should definitely try to pick one up on Ebay. You will always encounter problems with emulation of any system, especially newer consoles like the DC/PS2. Before you download anything you should post your PC's specs to make sure you can even run NullDC etc.
  10. I'm assuming it's because the vast majority of docs/tuts etc are in English, and they are not always well written. So they can figure out what they can and bring the rest here. From my experience with doujin shooters, that are mostly in Japanese, it can be a struggle when you fall upon an error message that it is usually impossible to translate. Wow.
  11. I could have sworn they worked, they must not after all. You will need to make the image into a .cdi, in which case you need DiscJuggler to convert it. Then you need to use the Utopia bootdisk to boot the game. Alternatively you can try to make the bin into a self-booting .cdi using bin2boot. It's been so long since I done it I've forgotten. Just google for 'self-boot bin2boot' or similar. Thankfully most downloadable .cdi images are already self-booting, saving any hassle.
  12. NullDC can use bin/cue IIRC. If you ever need to convert between image formats then something like UltraISO covers pretty much all the bases, plus you can mount images with it too.
  13. IIRC you can only use the sharing capability of WMP if it is v10 or 11. Maybe I'm wrong. I don't use WMP so I haven't updated mine since day one. I use 'Windows Media Connect 2' instead. It's easy to use and it is the module that is used in WMP11 to enable sharing with your 360, without the need for WMP11 itself.
  14. Try phrasing your questions in French too. I am a little out of practice but it's worth a shot. Also, by 'safeguard it's parts' do you mean save your progress in the game?
  15. Indeed. What's next? Captain James T Kirk in the next Tekken?
  16. Well I think you need to flash the drive using the key from the original drive for it to work. You can't just use any flashed drive as a replacement/substitute.
  17. AFAIK you need the 'key' from the existing drive to flash the other drive with. Why not just flash the drive in it and if you need to 'un-flash' it you can?
  18. I don't know where you read this but I have skimmed over 100s of comments regarding this game and have seen a few confirming working burns on PAL machines. Also..
  19. A region free version is now doing the rounds
  20. Most of the Xbox emulators are ports of existing PC-based emus. The only real difference in most cases is that you use the control pad to make your inputs rather than the keyboard. Everything else is the pretty much the same. FTP or otherwise transfer the extracted folder containing the emu over to your Xbox, with the roms/bios in the 'roms' folder and play. Launch the emu from the 'default.xbe' file or from the dashboard itself. I'd recommend using XBMC as your dashboard, though you could use UnleashX etc If you mean how do you actually mod the thing in the first place, then you need to get reading up
  21. Well the fanboys for one. Plus, if it hits the 360 you can get/receive beat downs on Live instead
  22. Hey, I'm just letting you do your thing, don't want to keep asking for constant updates. When it's done it's done. It's your free time, so no rush! If you think I can help in any way you know I'm here
  23. I never used any mods but I'm assuming they can be used to alter gfx mainly. The primary advantage of the PC version in my eyes is the 'console' which allows you to instantly manipulate most facets of the game eg. boost/lower stats/skills, skip missions, add/remove items. Like a sort of cheat box if you will. It can be used to circumvent some bugs though, so it isn't totally evil
  24. The US version of GOTY is in stock at PA. It is compatible with NTSC-U and PAL, meaning it would play on your 360?
  25. I have swept through all the private trackers that I'm on, and newsgroups, nothing yet. I have no interest in this game whatsoever but I'm so desperate for new 360 games I'll probably grab it anyway.
