What's with the compatibility list? - Tekken 1 and Ridge Racer 1 aren't 100% perfect, everytime I've tried them they are missing music. I have tried the iso and the CD.

I'm sure lots of people own this game by now. I don't and want to know if it missing any frames of animation or anything else. All I know is that it has an Arranged Soundtrack. Which is awesome but I just wanna know how good a conversion it is. Thanks

WMAs are just as cool as MP3s imo. I have a MiniDisc player and the formats I can convert onto the mini discs are MP3s, WMAs and WAVs. So it just shows you how common they are. Plus every CD I rip is in WMA format and have no problems.

I am the biggest Videogame collector ever! I have a completely full set of mame roms, every single above average console/computer rom, Almost every main console (including Japanese duplicates), thousands of games, hundreds of downloaded games etc etc. I would post my IGN collection list but it takes abut 5 minutes to load even of ISDN! But yeah, I have a bedoom full of consoles and games and a PC with a hard drive full of em.

I don't find any game fun unless there is a point to do it. I just find pissing about in GTA detracts from the actual game. I suppose you could call playing 2D fighters on 1 player just messing around, but there is a point as I try and beat my scores on 1 credit. That's why I love retro games because you are always playing to beat your previous high score. So, none. I only play if there is a point. sorry.

Here is my incredibly technical way around the problem: Use your monitors verticle stretch feature. It works fantastic. Just crank it up about 50% and you'll be laughing. Unless it is Pal speed you are worrying about, just do as I do.

Why go on a rant like this if you don't know everything about it? I have an iso of Gradius Gaiden (Japanese) and it doesnt work unless you refer to a mounted image in Daemon Tools. I'm sure there are a few more games that don't work when running the iso directly.

No I already said that I have tried both things you suggested. I deleted my memcard files and tried again and it still does the same thing. It must be something else.

That doesn't mean that it is hard nowadays for us. I was gonna say Zombie Revenge but didnt think it was exceptionally hard, just very hard. I'm not fault finding, just saying.

I NEVER continue in any mame game. I will play all games with one credit and play up to the point I die. Then have another go and try and beat my score, and so on and so on. Every so often I will continue thru to the end of the game to see everything that happens. But only if it seems impossible to complete it on 1 credit. Games like Final Fight, Robocop and Metal Slug need to be played thru once and I'm not a good enough player to do it on 1 credit. I will only do this every so often and play the games on 1 credit every time before and after seeing the whole game. I always let the continue run down to zero and have another go on every Mame game. It makes playing for score worthwhile.

Ralf and Clark are 2 of my favourite KOF characters. Their look and moves are great and they are essential. Plus along with the psycho soldiers they are the only ones that represent KOF's original concept that the SNK dorks forgot about completely. (including characters from past SNK games whether fighting or not) (I'm not surprised they're about to do it all over again with Battle Coliseum) and they are some of the handful of characters that represent KOF (despite what the morons who decided on characters for CVS and SVC think), have been on all KOFs and are therefore essential. I don't believe rumours EVER and I hope this is also wrong.

Some games get much easier just because you are older and better at playing. I could never complete any level in any game in the Commodore 64 era (well, I'm exagerating). But if I go back and play, I can't believe how much easier they are nowadays. But yeah, loads of games are still rock hard no matter how older you get. The list I wrote down in my last post are games that I thought were hard when I played them and would be just as hard if I replayed them. I thought Crash Bandicoot 2 was very hard when it first came out, but I recently played thru it again and it is far easier than I remembered. That's why I excluded it from my hard games list.

I am a perfectionist when it comes to emulators. I have to play the one that gives fully accurate scart graphics and the best sound etc. And RockNES is the best ever. Perfect.

I tried both things and it still doesnt load any stage. Could it be something to do with my plug-ins and plug-in settings? It says Crash Team Racing works 100% perfect on the compatibility list. Please give some more suggestions on the problem. I'm not surprised it's called CRASH team racing...

That was moe random than hard. You could win any battle if you played it for about 56 hours. I quit half way thru as it was just terribly random and no fun imo.

I didnt think TMNT Turtles in Time was that hard Hard games = Ninja Gaiden for xbox and NES, Virtua Fighter 2 and Kids (Jeffry was SCUM), F-Zero GX, Resident Evil 3, Tomb Raider 3, Ghosts n Goblins series, Devil Mevil Crevil (especially on Dante Must Die and Harder modes) , Crash Bandicoot 1, R-Type, Sexy Parodius, Haunted Castle (MAME), Super SF2 Turbo (Arcade only), Mortal Kombat 2 (cheating CPU), F355 Challenge (I am very good at it, but it's still hard to get good position in Race mode - I play with no assists so I dont know what its like with them on), NBA Jam 1 and TE, Karnov, Confidential Mission, Dead or Alive 1, Rainbow Six games, Last Bronx, GoldenEye on 00 agent (never managed Control stage and Aztec, did all others), Robotron, Smash TV, Alien vs Predator, Turok 2, Civ III, Max Payne 1 later on and Ikaruga. There're the main ones
