Well...After buying the arcade controller on Play-Asia(and while I was waiting to receive it) I found some reviewssaying that there was no BACK BUTTON... The package arrived yesterday and for my surprise -- YES!There is a awesome shining and sparkling, deliciousBACK BUTTON. So, never mind my questions, guys! Thanks!C.
andreyw Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 (edited) Hey guys, i am having some problems with Samurai Shodown 5. The set is ok, perfect matching the crc; the rom loads fine with no error messages; BUT the grafics are all scrambled. Its the only rom acting like this. I got the fullset going perfectly well on this peace of art, even Samurai Shodown 5 Special. Anyone having this same problem?Thanx everyone suporting this amazing emu. Its pure fun Andrey Edited October 6, 2006 by andreyw
twen Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 It's good enough to say that FBA-XXX Pro is dead now.

+ T + Posted October 22, 2006 Author Posted October 22, 2006 It's good enough to say that FBA-XXX Pro is dead now. That's a little presumptuous don't you think? I hardly think that this is the first time an emu to has gone for a while without an update. I'm just very busy with other things at the moment. I will continue to work on FBA-XXX Pro at some point in the future when I am able to but it certainly is not dead.
badazz74 Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 That good to hear this is one of the best emulators for xbox.
chr0m Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 May anyone help me? I'm newbie about this subject so please be patient.I installed the latest version of FBA-XXX Pro (1.26) on my xbox and i tested some roms.Blazing Star doesn't work. I use the dat file included in the package to check the rom by romcenter and this program says that the rom is OK (also the neogeo.zip is OK); but when i select the rom FBA-XXX Pro on XBOX i receive errors about missing roms. What should i do?Thanks for the answer
Garcimak Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 (edited) Does exist some way to map the rotary controller function from the CPS1 Game "lost worlds/forgotten worlds" ? Sadly, that really ruins the gameplay.Any ideas how to do it ? Or maybe this isn't possible with FBAxxx. Besides, FBA-XXX remain the greatest emulator for xbox, many thanks. alpha2 Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Dont have much time so ill be quick, SVCSPLUS doesn`t detect start on 2nd player, and system reboots, skin/ emulator crashes when all menus disabled, why support for fully decrypted removed mine booted in half the time required for non decrypted sets plz put back support for "nd" sets have to run thx in advance.
Prican25 Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 it was removed due to this being the pro version that decrypted sets shouldn't be needed. if you still want to use decrypted sets, use an older version of pro or normal fba-xxx
Prican25 Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 i know its been a while but believe it or not, i just grabbed the latest the other day and finished getting the updated roms heh. thought i'd test a few that clrmame said were a problem (even tho romcenter sees everything good) and only one came out with a problem, samsh5bl. the romset set cameout fine but when loaded in fba-xxx pro, it gives me a bank error. i know tis shouldn't be a big deal since the parent/decrypted work fine but i thought i'd mention it anyway and ask if theres been any new progress with the emu?
GLiTcH Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 we need update since hyper sf2 anny edition works on mame
N3oGhost Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 So are they still making builds of fbaxxx Pro? Has the source been released? Is anyone here actively compiling their own builds of FBAX? Reason I ask has to do with the PSP. If you know a way to contact the coders responsible for FBAXXX, or anyone capable of creating new versions of FBAX using the source, Id like for you to take a look at the source-code used for a set of nice emulators that run on the PSP (CPS1psp, CPS2psp, MVSPSP). http://neocdz.hp.infoseek.co.jp/psp/index.html#download Take a look at that source code and see if it is familiar. I have a strong feeling that other emulators can be branched off using this code to support:Raizing, Cave, Toeplan, Psikyo roms (each being a separate emulator). Even a Konami emu that would support turtles, simpsons, xmen, etc. I just think it wouldn't be a lot of work to import code used in MAME or FBA, etc into the PSP source above to compile a separate emulator to run more games. If you have a way of contacting Gogo, Lantus, Xport, etc, send them the code just to see if it is possible and relatively easy to do. I don't speak japanese and have no way of contacting the original coder to suggest this. -neocvera
GogoAckman Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 I ve already tried to code on PSP (you can find the philips RC6 or RC5 remote controller on my site (if it still exists)), but the way you re supposed to code on psp (with unofficial tools) is just a pain in the ass, cygwin etc... no way for me.
