  1. theres a documentation for it as far as i remember have you actually bothered reading it? if you dont have a doc in there tell me so i can post it myself.
  2. well the patches point are valid but i just dont remember -any- patches made for C ROMs for any specific reason. its always the P,M and S ROM (mostly P and M). but damn, 8 MB P ROM? i wish i had encountered that
  3. most of Bungie titles were pretty decent but not much of over-the-top stuff. Oni for example.
  4. i thought we already had the decrypted C ROMs since day 1?
  5. i think Valve has proven themselves on the engine development which i think is the most substantial component of their games. but i dunno, Lithtech engines seems to be very flexible as well, but is rarely used by other companies other than themselves (Monolith). i wish Raven would tackle other engines as well (UT2003, Lithtech Jupiter, etc.) and SOF2 is just a matter of opinion as well. i mean, i dont think it has clans and supporters for nothing? getting Quake 4 to be worked on by Raven Software is a very good idea indeed, so hats off to ID as for the classics, thanks for reminding me, ive been itching to play Take no Prisoners for a while now
  6. rants: quite frankly Valve isnt as credible to me. i mean, what other games have they actually released other than Half-Life? NONE. not much of a history to look at. ID...well, theyve done awesome with history, but the future doesnt say much either. ID games were no-brainers in the market (they always sell well, at least theyre good). care to think what happens if ID stops updating their series brand of games? the wish in itself: Raven Software. they always take up (ID) engines to far greater heights which always include a decent to kick-ass story-line, fun gameplay and visuals that while revamps can still stand on their own.
  7. what the hells wrong with it anyways? thats the only MGD2 redumper existing so far. and if you hate command-line, sorry but either you have to suck this up or not at all. also ROMBuild may help you update your ROMs after using Redump but its also a command-line driven program. as far as i read, CLRMAMEPro also has options to convert ROMs. not sure up to what extent since i dont use CLRMAMEPro
  8. FBA comes with Kaillera too. only MAME doesnt as far as i know.
  9. i just like how Kim does his HSDM in 2k2. it recreated the old-flair wonderfully (a la FF2/special)
  10. hehe, yeah like that ramon guy in kof2001 errr..i dont know, i never thought Ramon was gh3y at any KOF year he was (he obviously look more on the mexican wrestling influence than anything else). if there was an underrated character in KOF, its him.
  11. couldnt tell a lot from the pic either. he just seems more vampirically gothic looking than what he is. also, i thought Benimaru is gay from the beginning?
  12. though ive been a member for a really long time now (yup, emulforums days), i didnt really got to stay here that much until the SVC romhunt days (thanks to Gamecop helping me at A@H for a link). because of the apparent number of visitors (newbies, etc), staying here became like a dose of nostalgia of what i frequently used to do at A@H (gaming discussions, emu and ROM help and stuff) thus me ending up being regular visitor here. Happy 3rd Year Anniversary you goddamn of a forum, I FINALLY LOVED IT and im still in love with my ego
  13. the link works. right-click the link and choose "Copy Shortcut". open a new browser window and paste it in the address field. remove the extra "http://" and press enter.
  14. yeah, and the next thing you see in an FPS game is a lying down view - dead oh, and at the same time, you see your enemy teleport like the characters in DragonballZ in case of a really bad lag.
  15. i dont get the title of this thread, wheres the BS?
  16. theres a good possibility that bootleggers are eagerly waiting for this release too (being the last MVS game and all). i dont think kof2k3 took a month or so to be dumped.
  17. the 320x240 min resolution era started on Quake 2. older FPS games have 320x200 for minimum. i dont care for the technicalities, but i will say GOGOGOANDDOITGODDAMNIT!!! also i feel like phreaking stupid but whats this "ROTT" game?
  18. got there? we already did ages ago. just finish Kusanagi with a DM or LDM.
  19. if you use Daemon Tools for ISO mounting, try setting the Audio from Digital to Analog. i havent used it for while though so i cant explain the details.
  20. damn, i cant find the darned thing. i want that too (the Mace game btw)
  21. but you have to admit Quake 1 is still alot more active than Q2 up to this date. Q1 maps have doubled productions compared to Q2 and engine developments are already established. and for the record, i play Q2 (and mods) more than i ever did with Q1. as for the games themselves, i like them all. Q1 is gothic, Q2 is space military and Q3 is tournament type. P.S. you people have to try Dawn of Darkness for Q2. truly a classic.
