  1. the "Pause/ Break" button on your keyboard. the ingame pause only works in console mode (its select/coin button btw and you bind it yourself).
  2. they have probably caught on and done something like that. I can't imagine that neo-geo emulation was ALWAYS this hard. Well, the l33t hax0rs cracked the old banking method that SNK made for KOF99, Garou and others...SNK Playmore has taken things a bit further. As you may or may not know, Neo-Geo games really didn't have any kinds of protections untill KOF'99 came out. actually, even the old titles such as fatal fury 2 or maybe earlier games have protection as well. emulation-wise, the reason it seems old games dont have protection is because the protections themselves are emulated properly.
  3. it may be on the dumpers hands but what made you people sure it was even playable? i wont even be surprised if this game gets a different kind of encryption than XORs decryption alone is there anybody out there other than Razoola who can even handle CPS-2 XOR stuff?

  8. it isnt tough really, i did it myself but its been a while since ive done that. just study the makefile for a bit so you know what references to other systems you can remove. also you will need to edit the file "app.rc" inside <your FBA source folder>\src\burner so you can remove the checkboxes for other systems in the load window. i just tried this because i want to see if it would make compiling a bit faster on my end. it did, but the difference is barely noticeable at all. imho, it isnt really worth making a neogeo only FBA since it doesnt have a huge library of games to begin with (compared to MAME). but still, its your choice so good luck credits to iq_132 on the app.rc bit . ill try looking for what you need to remove in the makefile to make things easier
  9. they arent anywhere in the arcade version. there was a SFZero3 arcade released in Japan that used the Naomi board (not the regular CPS-2 board as know) where those characters are included (just like in the PS and DC versions). and no, its not emulated so dont ask.

  13. judging by how youre trying your sig, im not even sure if youre making a link to an image in your sig or posting the pic itself. Gryph, i cant define Dynamic images, but theyre usually those long-a$$ URLs for images (like those that links to Imagestation pictures)
  14. to clarify, thats about 40 MB, not 30 MB. sorry for the correction but man, the size you mentioned can be misleading.
  15. Dynamic IMG links doesnt seem to be allowed on this board either so that rule may be applied on the sigs as well.
  16. it maybe with your vid card, but you can also try testing with the last official version (0.6b) for troubleshooting. back when im using a 4MB SVGA card everything works dandy in NRX. after i upgraded to a semi-decent 3D card the shots factory went exactly as youve posted. i havent tried taking a snapshot with blitters on though

  18. im not sure of the devices they use and how theyre really called but i think theyre commonly called as "Copiers" (at least SNES ROMs were produced this way). and believe it or not, those hardwares are INDEED pricey (doesnt matter for what system it is now, but for the most part they are expensive). its technical stuff beyond that point. someone can explain better. thats just all i remember from it.
  19. to be perfectly honest, i didnt like how Abobo (i refuse to call him by his new name) turned out in ROTD. i mean, he was a regular henchman in DD series then he becomes somewhat mentally ill? at least hes being pampered by a couple of young babes but nothings explained about them the code to play as Abobo in ROTD is the same as the code to play as the ROTD characters in Matrimelee, and yes, it has to be done on the character select select screen as well. now go and be the biatch!
  20. i liked the one Demitri used in DS2 where he swipes open his cape and unleash hordes of bats. too bad it was replaced by a lamer equivalent in DS3 though seems to be more effective.

  22. besides, id rather wait and see an official emu release from existing people who can do the job than hearing from an official retard "lairing". like the 2 people above mentioned already, i feel sorry for the sensible people who is striving to play SF3 but have no clue on whats really happening regarding its emulation status. and this is all they get? this is one reason i prefer hearing from known people in the scene rather than someone who just barges in and claims BS.
