  1. Go into the System Managment menu and then System Settings. Then scroll down till you see "Kernel Version". We can tell what BIOS from what is written there.
  2. Sounds more like a BIOS issue to me. What mod, dashboard and BIOS are you using?
  3. Vaporware. That thing has been around for quite a while now and no solid news ever appears. It will never see the light of day.
  4. Glitch, Only 6 of your skins are showing up on AXS. Where can I find the rest? I've recently started toying with the tHc dash and want to try some skins out.
  5. I might be able to host a skin pack. I have a small amount of webspace I can use (webpage space with my DSL account). The only problem is I don't really know what my bandwidth limit is. I could just put it out there and see how long it lasts. [edit] I put it out there. Here is the link: RazorSkinPack1 Not sure how long it will last. Also, I dont have a lot of storage to use, so I can't host multiple packs, but I will keep the most recent one out there.
  6. Respect? He's the one that called this board a load of crap.
  7. RazorbladeKiss, Are still planning on re-doing the first skins you posted?
  8. Hey, I need some help with the ROM paths. I'm trying to get FBAX to also look at my KawaX ROM directories, but it doesn't seem to be working. Here is what the ini looks like: szAppRomPaths[0] d:\roms\ szAppRomPaths[1]..\roms\ szAppRomPaths[2] f:\Emulators\KawaX_Hex\Roms\ szAppRomPaths[3] f:\Emulators\KawaX_V11\roms\ All four lines were already in the ini file, but lines [2] and [3] didn't have any paths. So I added the two paths for my KawaX emus. The [0] line is the path for the "roms" folder in the FBAX directory. In case you don't know, "d:" is the directory the default.xbe is launched from. I'm not sure what line [1] is pointing toward. I tried putting the KawaX paths in the first two lines, but the emu seems to only be showing the ROMs for whatever is in line. So if I put one of the KawaX paths in line [0], those ROMs will show up, but nothing else. So has anyone had any success putting multiple paths? BTW, the ini file is in the TDATA directory on E:. I can't remember the exact folder off hand (I'm not near my XBOX), but I think it ends in 504.
  9. Nice! Can I put in a request too? I'd like to have a skin featuring Ken. Thx!
  10. What Ghozt said should work. Go to the dip switch setting and set the it to MVS System and then select "Reset ROM". There is apparently a bug that always causes the game to start in the wrong mode the first time you start up the ROM and I guess it doesn't save the settings correctly either. I set it to MVS, USA, with the normal BIOS and the coin slots work just fine. But after I shut down FBAX, when I came back later the settings were set to MVS, Japan, Normal BIOS I also had to reset the ROM for the coin slots to work. Anyway, the emu is buggy, but you can get the coin slots to work.
  11. He can decide if he wants to release the source or decide if he want to officially support newer games, but he doesn't get to decide if people hack it. In fact, these emus are all ported with XDK and thus illegal. Doesn't MS get to decide who uses XDK? So it's rather hypocritical to whine about people hacking your emu when your emu is built with XDK and only runs on hacked XBOXs running technically illegal BIOS'.
  12. True... but why threaten to drop the project? That's just childish. It's the equivalent of a kid on the playground threatening to take his ball and go home. The exact same. So you have one or two guys being dicks... and thousands who are simply enjoying their work. Doesn't seem bad to me at all.
  13. I really don't get the big deal. Every author knows that people are going to hack these emulators to play the latest games. So why cry about it when they do? In fact, we all know the authors themselves have very likely their own personal versions that play the games. But that's just my.02.
  14. Use this program: Craxtion version 3.1 Make sure you also download the OCX and runtime files listed at the bottom of the page. Craxtion may not work otherwise. The program is easy to use, but if you have trouble send me a PM. Just put the emulator in a folder (can be named anything)... you should have the default.xbe, the "media" folder, and a "roms" folder. Put all your roms in the roms folder. Now start up Craxtion. It starts in "ISO Creation" mode, which is what you want. So just click the "Add" button at the bottom. The select the folder that has your emulator and roms. Then just click the "Create ISO" button at the bottom. That's it. Craxtion will then make an XBOX ISO with those files. I use Nero to burn the ISO. If, when using Nero or another program, you can a message saying that the "block size" is incorrect, select "Ignore' (not "Fix"). You will corrupt your ISO if you tell Nero to "fix" it. Yes. You may have to try a couple of brands, but the XBOX will read most CD-RWs. But it doesn't "like" to read them. It reads DVD-Rs much more easily. Again, PM me if you need any help.
  15. Shoutcast internet radio stations via the Avalaunch dashboard on my XBOX
  16. IMO, the landing was not faked. Counter arguments See also all the links at the bottom of the above website.
  17. Just in case anyone here doesn't know (though I'm sure most do), the easiest/best places to acquire anime (especially new and current series) are: anime.mircx.com -Excellent site that tracks the biggest anime bittorrent trackers and lists all the new files posted each day. I think it updates every 20 minutes. a.scarywater.net
  18. Yup. Currently I'm keeping up with Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, and Planetes. I love the availability of fansubs these days. You can watch a show just 1-2 days after it airs in Japan. Good stuff.
  19. 28 here... I'm pleasantly surprised that there are so many people in their teens and early twenties on this forum. I guess was expecting mostly older gamers to be into the old school 2D games.
  20. Double click the.torrent file and a window will pop up asking you where you want to save the file. Once you select where the file is to be saved the download will start. That's what step 4 means.
  21. .204 on first try. .188 on my 4th - "Nice".
