Hey, I need some help. I'm trying to run SvC on KawaX SE. I had it running on KawaX PLUS, but since that will no longer be supported I'm switching over to KawaX SE. Well, I replaced my original P and M roms with the ones prepared for KawaX PLUS by N3oGhost. These don't work with SE so I downloaded the ROM (svcplus.zip) again. But it's not the same! This version is Plus (says so on the title screen), but it's missing a couple of characters. I played with some flying demon character (sorry, don't know his name) before on my PLUS rom, but he isn't there on the Plus version I have now... there is also someone missing on the other side, but I don't know who it is. Can anyone help me out here? What ROM did I have before? [edit] also, sorry if this is covered somewhere in this thread... but it's 62 pages! Just easier to ask.

Yeah, I should have kept them. But I did not... so can you zip them up and transfer them to me somehow. AIM or such? [edit] Well N3oGhost suggested NGTools to get the roms, but their site is down (hammered by the SSV downloaders?). So if anyone can help me out here.... I need the P and M roms for KoF2K2, MSlug4, MatriMelee, RotD, and SvCPlus. Actually, I may not need KoF2k2 and Mslug4 since I have those ROMs in a NeoRage archive (I'm assuming they are decrypted?).

Gah! I don't think I have the original P and M ROMS anymore! I used all the ones from the P & M ROM Depot. I guess I should have saved them. I don't suppose you could hook me up with the originals that I replaced for KawaX PLUS? [EDIT] If you can supply me with those files I plan to post them on Suprnova with KawaX SE and full instructions on how to switch over. This will hopefully save you some headaches when MSlug5 hits and people start looking for a new version of KawaX PLUS.

Anyone have an answer for my blood question? I really like playing with the region set to Japan because I like all the intros (even though I can't read them ), but I would like to have the blood actually be red instead of white.

Well, I still can't get the blood to work with the game set to the Japan region. I tried setting it up with the game set to USA or Europe, but everytime I set it to Japan the blood goes back to white.

Wait... KawaX PLUS and Kawa-X SE are different... right? If he uses Kawa-X SE, but has his ROMS named for KawaX PLUS they will not work... correct?

OK... another question. I changed the region and now I can see all the intros and stuff (which I like), but now my blood is gone and I can't read the game set-up menus. There also seems to be a different amount of options when set to the Japan region. Which setting is for "violence"?

Hey... I have a question. I've got the new KawaX PLUS up and running with Samurai Shodown 5, but I noticed that some of the levels don't have any music playing, but others do. Is this normal? Or is there something wrong with the way the game is being emulated?

I'd really appreciate it if someone could send me the new default.xbe (and picture of files if I need to do some renaming) for KawaX Plus. I didn't see Prican25's posts in the newsgroups. Solidius23, Make sure you currently have your Bittorrent window for that file open.

Yeah, but it only takes 30 minutes to one hour for the torrent to appear on Suprnova from the time you submit the torrent. I've been submitting things on a regular basis for a couple of weeks now (under this same nick).

Hmmm... do you have Bittorrent installed? Bittorrent Then you need this program to make a torrent file out of the ROM: MakeTorrent 2 You can use this tracker when making the torrent: http://beowulf.mobilefrenzy.com:6969/announce Then go here to upload the torrent file to Suprnova: Suprnova Torrent Upload Then just double click on your torrent file and people will be able to connect to you as soon as it gets posted. It may seem confusing, but it's really simple once you have done it once. But maybe you should just FTP it to one of us that knows how to do this.

All you have to do is seed it until another seed is created. Then you can shut it down, but the torrent will keep going. That's the beauty of it!

LOL... I guess we are all sitting around waiting for someone with the ROM to post it to Suprnova or give us another server. Posting to Suprnova should have been the first thing done by anyone who has it. Once someone makes it a torrent it will spread so much faster. [edit] You have it now?

That server must be getting hammered. I can't get the download to start. Somebody do us all a favor and put this baby on Suprnova.

WTF are you talking about? Every download is corrupted? Bittorrent automatically checks each piece it downloads and if it's corrupted it downloads that piece again. I've never had a corrupted download with Bittorrent. It also doesn't come with any spyware. Are you sure you are even using Bittorrent? If so, what client are you using? Most people use the original or Shadow's.

Hmmm... I don't think you need to change the rom path. I run my KawaX Plus off my F: partition and my rompath.ini still says, "d:\roms", and works just fine. But I really don't think that would be causing it to freeze. Try changing it back to "d:\roms" just to check. If it still freezes, maybe it's an issue with your BIOS? Not sure. Maybe someone else has an idea.

Did you press X to rescan ROMS?
