What ROM sector?

Just look at all the KawaX posts on various boards. And that's just one of many emulators ported to the XBOX.

So who has the working ROM for this game? Links? ---- Nevermind, found the link in the pinned Current Affairs thread. Downloading now, though really slowly.

I've been there. I had someone else put in my chip and hard drive too (some guy in KC). But I've learned a lot since then by asking questions and reading tutorials and such. I'm pretty confident doing most things with my XBOX now. OK, that is how I set mine up too. I have one stock KawaX and then KawaX SE for all the newer ROMs. Do you have a program called "boXplorer" on your XBOX? It might be under a menu called "Apps" in your dashboard.

OK... so the games are running off of the hard drive, correct? So I guess someone else set this up for you? They must not have realized that the neogeo.zip files need to be renamed. There is no way to rename the files without accessing your XBOX via your PC. At least none that I'm aware of since you have to unzip the files, rename, and then rezip. Accessing your XBOX hard drive is pretty easy, but you need a crossover network cable or you need a hub (or router) between your PC and the XBOX. So do you have either a crossover cable or hub on hand?

I just checked my games (I'm running KawaX SE) and both those games support console mode.

This part confuses me. Where are you playing these games from? Did you burn these to a disc? If not, how did they get onto your XBOX since you don't know how? Your neogeo.zip file will be located in the same folder as the ROMs themselves. Just unzip the files, rename them, and zip them back up.

I've not noticed anything in PIM. How noticable is it? The only ROM I've seen problems with is RotD... and it is very noticable since your life gauge is missing. Have you seen anything in PIM, Prican25?

As far as mods go... just go over to Xbox-Scene and looks at the tutorials section. Also, head over to XBINS.org to see all the XBOX related software available (including many emulators). I don't really know about the whole dial-up thing. That might be possible. I do have my XBOX networked through my PC the way you are saying, but I have DSL. I use an Xecuter 2.2 lite modchip and it has worked great for me so far.

Files are on the way. Judging from the files names he requested I think he wants these for KawaX SE. He's probably switching from PLUS to SE like I was doing a couple of days ago.

Are you trying to run it in KawaX PLUS or KawaX SE?

Yeah, this has actually been discussed in a couple of other threads. It's because KawaX SE doesn't currently use the S1 rom. But that's a problem Mr X is aware of and is working on.

EO = Easy Operation Yup, it's BS. I have it for XBOX and never use the EO mode.

OK, let's start with this... is your XBOX modded? If not, then you can't use any of them anyway. Actually, there are some exploits you can use, but I have no idea how to do them since I use a chip. So I can't help you there. Anyway, if your XBOX is modded, them shoot me an PM and I can tell you how to get KawaX and all the other XBOX emulators.

Is there no way to set it up with the S1 ROM? It makes the game annoying to play since you can't see how much health you have left. [edit] Nevermind... I saw your post in another thread saying you were working on that. Thanks for doing this...

Thanks... I managed to get the proper 64 KB M files. Now, do you have any idea why the status bars are screwed up in RotD? There is another post below about this too.

Well, first, you must have your XBOX modded to run KawaX or any other XBOX emulator. Second, the original version of KawaX doesn't support any game less than two years old. But people have made adjustments to KawaX to allow for the newers games to be run. One such version is called KawaX SE. Yeah, only get intro in Japan region and can only get red blood running with USA or Europe regions. I want both on one region! Don't even care which region it is.

Well, I downloaded another SvC Plus, but it's not right! It is SvC Plus, but it's missing a couple of characters. It's missing that flying demon guy (don't know his name) and someone else is missing from the opposite side, but I don't know who it is... only that one picture is gone. As far RotD goes... I guess I'll try taking out the M ROM, but if it doesn't need it it won't load it anyway, right? My problem is corrupted graphics on the status bars. edit: How big is your m1d ROM? Mine is 128 KB. The site says it should be 64 KB.

Oh yeah... a picture is on the way. When I finally get all these ROMS running correctly on KawaX SE I'll post it to Suprnova. It's been a nightmare trying to rename everything and find the right P and M ROMs But I've almost go it now... I just need to get Rage of the Dragons working correctly and get the correct SvC ROM (the rom with all the characters). Also, I'm a bit concerned about my Metal Slug 4. It seems to be working fine, but my M rom is 128 KB when the website says it should be 64 KB. So if someone wants to send me that too, that would be cool

Well, I've almost completed my conversion from PLUS to KawaX SE... tracking down those ROMS again is a biatch! Anyway, Rage of the Dragons isn't working properly. It runs but the status bars on the top and bottom have missing graphics. I think it's because I have the wrong m1 ROM. Mine is 128 KB while the one listed on the KawaX SE site says 64 KB. So... can someone either send me their working m1d rom or point me to some place dl a working ROM? Also, some of that information on the KawaX SE site and in the Rom Names text document included with the download is wrong. For example, the V ROMS for both Metal Slug 4 and Rage of the Dragons must have 'd' listed in their names... just before the ".bin" (i.e. 263-v1d.bin). The website does not reflect this. ----------- It's on the way.
