veristic Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 Soul Calibur sux no skills r needed to play that crap but the char. looks kool thoAll game's require skill to play guy.
Inky Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 capcom=best 2dnamco=3d ( yes not sega cuz ithe games r kinda slow)yes sega's VF series is slower paced. that's the point, it's not a button mashers game, like most other 3D fighters. It's more like chess. and it can get pretty fast paced. if you don't believe me get some videos of the best pai and lao players, it can go from "round one" to "game over" in a heartbeat. although I holeheartedly agree with you about capcom but we'll never convince those SNK fanboys J/K guys don't flame me with your l33t orochi powers. heheh

Capcom makes the better 2D fighters in my opinion, but SNK has Terry... 'Nuff said.

Just like I like Ryu's old look n probably his new one in SF4 too. Edited April 1, 2004 by nyuuka
Inky Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 Terry is probably my 2nd least favorite SNK character, Slightly edged out by Benimaru. although terry did look kool in MotW in a kinda curt cobain way. my favorite SNK character is Vannessa.
Ryuken Posted April 1, 2004 Author Posted April 1, 2004 come to think about it. Capcom char. don't get new outfits
veristic Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 come to think about it. Capcom char. don't get new outfitsRyu will in SF4.
Diso Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 come to think about it. Capcom char. don't get new outfitsWhat are you talking about. Their costumes change color, thats good enough for me
Agozer Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 (edited) come to think about it. Capcom char. don't get new outfitsWhat are you talking about. Their costumes change color, thats good enough for me /me like the multiple color choices in Guilty Gear X2. Ryuken, SCII doesn't suck, to say such a thing is blasphemy on your part. But alas, these are just opinions. Edited April 1, 2004 by Agozer
veristic Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 it doesn't suck but it's easy to do combosSo r combos in KoF or Darkstalkers, but that doesn't mean the game is easy.
Agozer Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 (edited) Soul Calibur II is definitely not easy to master. The gameplay would get rather monotonous if all moves would be simple, combos make SCII more enjoyable.Although, I'm not too fond of games that rely on combos alone. i.e. Marvel vs. Capcom 1&2, Marvel vs. Street Fighter, X-Men...Don't get me wrong, I love these games as well, but there should be more to a game than simply mastering 20+ hitting air combos and juggles. Ryuken Posted April 1, 2004 Author Posted April 1, 2004 i've only played SC for a few time and when i played i beat my friend (who owns the game) so i thought it was easy. but come to think of it maybe he just suck really bad
