darknior Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 maybe this could be done as an Xtras project? i figure, configs for people who use Saturn Pads, Arcade Sticks, Xbox controllers, and the SF Anniversary controllers could all be supported, and via batch could be swapped. I think same too Using the Cosp. pixel perfect hard work, and finishing it for other games ...Adding the config file for all the games, like on the original controler. And maybe a full cheat (compatble) pack ! With the work bigby made for artwork, screens, videos and marquees ... it can make a beautifull pack If some want help to do it, go to the Xtra and open a forum to work on all together ThanksBye
+ T + Posted September 28, 2011 Author Posted September 28, 2011 It could easily be done for the major systems (CPS, NeoGeo, Cave, Psikyo, etc.) since most games that run under these drivers use only one set of controls. It's when you start getting into all the Misc games that things would become complicated.

Right on the spot! The only systems that (at least in my end) need to have adjustments in the controllers are ONLY CPS1 and CPS2!Absolutely *all others* are perfect as is from the default driver/factory settings! But this is not a crucial super important feature at all...Just something to the end of the task list! Regards,»C«
+ T + Posted September 28, 2011 Author Posted September 28, 2011 I didn't actually mean it could be done in the code. What I meant was that creating custom configs as suggested by A Murder Of Crows and darknior could easily be done for major systems as it would mostly be a case of copying and pasting.

+ T + Posted September 29, 2011 Author Posted September 29, 2011 Apologies for the delay on FBL1.6. I've been away from home for the last couple of weeks and am returning tomorrow. I'd hoped to get 1.6 released before I left but updating all the ROM sets to the latest MAME versions is taking a lot longer than expected as so many have changed and several new clones/parent sets have been added.
darknior Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 lol ... excellent ... you apologies for delay ... lol Your work is fantastic, and you make it almost alone ... it is so many work to do !The real life always take many time ... Garcimak Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 About the 'Angel Kids' game, controls are messed up, i remember it being a dual lever game. BTW, to build a .net config producer tool, i'd need separate set, wich tool can use to split or sort the 'ClrMAMEPro.xml' file between CPS1-2 / NEOGEO / OTHERS ?
gamez fan Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 (edited) dont want to start a what plays better where argument but apart from the usual suspects ive noticed that some of the ( 8ing raizing ) shumpsplay well in FBL the frame rate is far better would like to see how cyvern would fair. it would work in FBL but gets an out of memory error +T+is there any change you could find the time to do a little VMM work to get this game up and running?? at some point also got another question ive noticed when playing different shumps that it can help frame rate wiseif the difficulty is switched to easy but as ive mentioned before in another topic not all games have dipswitch access in FBL the cave/pgm games i.e esp galuda might play better if the difficulty was set to easy so want to ask +T+ would you be able change the code so FBL loadsthese games set to easy difficulty automaticlly Edited October 1, 2011 by gamez fan

These two games have had a performance boost in 1.6 anyway so you should notice they play even better. Cool to see you back. Give me some work to do please!Gladly. Do you still have that list of games that are just crying out for VMM to be added?? Edited October 1, 2011 by + T +
fumanchu Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 @+T+ i dont know if this is any help to you but concerning accessing the dipswitch screen in fbl,i do know that in fbanext360 you have to click down on the right thumbstick and point it to the left.you can select any game modes you wish after that via the dipswich settings.if you have the sourcecode for fbanext360 then it might give you some pointers/help but like i said that might not be of any help to you.
