RedCapsMan Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 I've got the entire Showcase now and I put the videos in with my previous install of R2. It seems like the games load a lot slower now and even the transition back from a game to the GUI has a long lag time. I'm assuming thats because the music and videos take up a bunch of ram and that that ram has to get rid of the video before it loads the games or conversely needs to load it up before the GUI shows. I turned off the "video preview" option and went back to screenshots but that lag still persists. I'm going to do a full re-install this weekend when I've got time to see if I screwed anything up there. Also, vertical games play their videos stretched to fit the screen. I've just finished the control panel but I think I'm going to put a layer of plexiglass over the artwork for a polished shiny finishing touch.
