I'm assuming you mean Rapidshare, Megaupload etc? It depends on the file size too. If it is DVD5 in size then it would be best distributed over bittorrent.
  2. Go to Control Panel >> Folder Options. Then click on the 'View' tab at the top. In the list of advanced settings at the bottom, make sure you have the 'Remember each folder's view settings' box ticked. Other than that, I can't think of anything.
  3. Vantage Point. Wasn't bad I suppose. Came across a bit like an episode of 24, with a twist. IMDB
  4. I vote B. At least someone is trying to pick up the slack. The only thing is, how much is there really left to accomplish with the Xbox? Arcades etc are tweaks of already existing projects, fine-tuning, small improvements. Most emulators are near-perfection as far as I know; maybe there's some that have slipped through the net? I guess it can't do any harm to learn the ropes. Good luck anyway sir.
  5. I used to use G19 cause I wasn't too keen on using my actual name but I just use it now as a matter of course. It's Gavin btw for the 'slower' members out there Nice idea Steve!
  6. Went back to my old favourites ie. any Michael Mann film. Watched the restored Director's Cut of Manhunter, brilliant as ever. Also managed to squeeze in the unrated version of Miami Vice, with a few added scenes not seen in the theatrical version. Not one of his best but still great atmosphere, cinematography and music. Mr Mann
  7. Same for me. My local arcade/snooker hall had Double Dragon, R-Type, Pac-Land AND Ghouls 'n Ghosts. I only ever left the place to sleep
  8. Great work as always! I'm assuming I can grab this when available and just replace my old Arcades with this one?
  9. I managed to squeeze in Blue Streak, The Hulk, The Mist and A Few Good Men into yesterday. In between, I even managed to make a list of all the films I have, currently 760. I surprised myself. The only one I haven't seen before was The Mist but it was pretty good. It is one of the few King shorts that I haven't got around to reading so I can't make any direct comparisons there. Going by previous adaptions though, I can imagine quite a bit has been omitted/altered to suit. 7/10 __film_list.txt
  10. Opera hasn't even got a mention?! Wow. Apart from the aforementioned problems with some sites not recognising it as a 'secure' browser, it has always been my favourite.
  11. Use ComboFix in conjunction with VundoFix as it covers a lot of other unwanted files.
  12. As iq_132 said, SP3 should hopefully resolve any problems. If not, you don't have to reformat to repair Windows. You could try using the Repair function built into the XP CD. Boot from it and let it run as if you were going to re-install Windows but instead choose to repair your existing installation. It should be pretty easy to find, I think it says press F3 to repair, something like that. Whether or not that fixes your specific problem I don't know, but it won't affect your existing installed apps etc, worth a shot. Good luck!
  13. But a lot of the regulars on here are 'mature' in years. I didn't join until I was 25. I know a lot of others who are slighty more advanced then me age-wise. People growing out of it happens to every site. It's that something extra that keeps people hanging on that's hard to put your finger on.
  14. Snap! Mortal Kombat series may be pretty stagnant, but not that much more so than most of the other franchises.
  15. Wow. Cheers Jit. It does look amazing but as you said, a rollout in 7 years seems a bit ambitious. I hope not though!
  16. Lol, scary but not unlikely. Good for them, glad to hear it
  17. King Kong - Extended Edition. It's no Deerhunter, and it's a bit overblown, but it was a decent watch. Pretty well handled by Peter Jackson (LOTR fame).
  18. I just started watching Intelligence. It's a Canadian-based cop show revolving around secret agencies etc. Pretty good. The music seems to be constantly throbbing in the background too, slightly distracting but I like it.
  19. Yeah I'd love just to be able to store a load of movies on a flash drive and stick it into any device and watch away. I have noticed a lot bigger flash drives recently too, 64gig is the biggest I can remember, but mighty expensive/slow.
  20. kkeping things going..? as in slow posting etc? What do you mean Bambi and Belthasar? I must have missed something. I have never held back a post for fear of offending someone, but then I'm not an offensive person. Unless you count the time I called you a narcissist (which I still stand by).
  21. Yeah but surely discs will still be around for storage use. There must still be a medium for portable storage, and Blu-Ray at 50gigs a disc sounds pretty good to me.
  22. No worries. Now you owe me one lol j/k
