You'll have to refer to the documentation that came with the dashboard you are using. I know in UnleashX I've had to manually edit in a menu item called "Emulators" and the directory it points to. When in doubt, RTFM!

Is your internet still plugged in? To do Xbox > PC when you have an internet connection that is connected via Ethernet, you'll need 2 network cards. This is something that should be rather obvious. If you have the above noted and are hooked up properly. What is your network setup? Have you gotten any errors in Windows about conflicting IP addresses or any error for that matter?

Cross-over cables are only for machinemachine connections. ie PCPC, XboxXbox etc If you're plugging into your hub/router/modem, you need a regular patch cable.

NEVERWINTER NIGHTS! OMFG! Such a terrible stats system for items/weapons/armor. The graphics are beautiful, but the gameplay is CRAP! I don't know how many times I've tried to get into it and I just can't get around the horrible system. And I paid full price for this when it came out. BLECH!

That would be Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars btw. And if the same team that did Generals is doing it, it's probably going to suck ass on every aspect but the visuals. C&C Generals is ASS! For me it would have to be..... a Metroid game that doesn't have a suck-ass storyline like Prime, back to the kind of storyline that doesn't even need telling, like there was in the first 3 games. Not that the 2 Prime games aren't good, I love em but the story is a crap off-shoot just like Fusion (Which also sucks in that regard). I'd also like to see another Star Wars Republic Commando game, on a grander scale. Huge environments, vehicles and the ability to command your team in more ways. You MUST go into the retail MS dash and enable 480p/720p/1080i there. I've found that setting this from any dashboard/app doesn't work as it should. Also know that if you enable all 3, the highest possible setting will be used by default unless you can specify explicitly in the app you run. As for playing DVDs in 720p with the MS DVD kit, no. I suggest you just use 480p, theres no need for 720p. I see no real difference between the 2 when playing DVDs. (Then again, I don't own very many or really watch them). Make sure you're using the latest build of XBMC. As for making FBAXXX run in 480p, if there isn't an option, there is a patching program out there that will patch XBEs to run in 480p. Not sure what it's called, but I'm sure you'd find it if you look on Xbox-Scene.

Get back to me when high end cards aren't $800 for something thats just a little bit faster with a little more memory. I love my Dreamcast, but I couldn't care less for any new titles. Every one in the last few years has been a shmup, and I am so sick of seeing the last clinging titles being all the same. If something other than shmups were to be released, I might give a half a $hit.

I have 512MB of ram and I use a 1GB pagefile on a dedicated partition on my 2nd drive. 2GB isn't "too high", but I would suggest monitoring it's usage, as theres no need for one larger than you need. Your pagefile can fragment just like any other file, and the larger it is the harder it will be to defrag (You have to defrag it at boot). Also a larger pagefile can mean that your disk is accessing a wider range on the disc and just like any other access, it will take longer and can actually hurt performance. I'd suggest you fire up your most intesive program, such as a higher end game, hit the Windows Key to force it to minimize. Then open the task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and see "PF Usage" under the performance tab. Then adjust your pagefile accordingly, with a bit of breathing room.

EVERYONE needs to realize there is alot more to an internet connection than meets the eye, and for the most part anything you install to "optimize" your internet connection won't do a damn thing. These tools will fix any issues caused by system configuration, like MTU Window and flow on your end, but otherwise it's OUT OF YOUR HANDS! There are several causes of slowdowns in your service regardless of what service you use. 1: For Dialup/DSL users, phone lines need to be in top order. Old lines, line noise and length of line/line quality can seriously cripple your connection. Don't use a 100' line extension if you only need 25' to reach the jack! Is your telephone making the slightest background noise/fuzz? Have the phone company check/fix your lines if possible, line noise is the number 1 culprit when it comes to poor QOS. 2: A backbone server on the internet may be down or suffering from any number of issues. There isn't a damn thing you can do about this but wait. If that backbone is in line with the connection you're trying to establish, you'll have to "hop" elsewhere causing things to take longer to go back and forth. You can see just how many "hops" your connection is taking to get to the source by using "tracert google.com" in a command prompt for example. Right now I've got 13 hops, which isn't bad. If you're seeing over 25, you can bet theres a problem somewhere, which again IS OUT OF YOUR CONTROL! 3: # of users on the server your connection is sourced from CAN be a problem, but usually isn't. ISPs hate hearing complaints from alot of people, bad for business. Oh and btw, having DSL doesn't magically make you immune to "overcrowding" and you aren't "sharing" your connection with cable like advertising would have you believe. Thsoe differences in connection types are a MYTH! Problems of this nature are your ISPs fault at their servers, PERIOD! Oh and again, you can't do anything about this (Besides call and complain, but can you prove it?) 4: System tools to help "optimize" your connection can actually harm it. Be sure of what you're doing, look up info before making changes some program tells you will help make your connection faster. 99% of the programs out there that claim they can do this, are fradulent. 5: Got a computer like most people out there? Loaded with more bloatware and garbage than you need? CLEAN IT OUT! You'd be surprised at the ammount of programs that run in the background for whatever reason, that eat your bandwidth. Have 5 of these kind of programs running and you wonder why your connection is slow as dirt. 6: Don't allow ANY program to use unlimited upload speed. You are a goddamn idiot if you can't grasp why this is bad. How the hell is your browser or whatever other program you're using, supposed to communicate with a server to REQUEST if theres no bandwidth to do so? 7: Use some common sense, if you think something could impact your computers performance in a negative way of any kind, find an alternative!

Well for starters, you need a cart adapter, as the cart is different in shape. That or you need to cut the protrusions on your NTSC SNES to get the Jap carts to fit in, or open your SNES......your choice (I'd go with an adapter for aesthetics). Then you can simply pop a Japanese game in and play. This doesn't work with PAL games though, as all 3 regions have regional lockout chips. The only reason you can play JP on US, is because the regional chips are the same. If you want to play PAL games as well, I suggest you get your hands on a Game Genie. Once you remove the plastic top on the connector, you can plug any cart into it and the region protection is nullified by the Game Genie because of the way it works.
