Regardless of any accusations (I still think he is indeed innocent, just a little wierd due to a childhood that wasn't) I don't think he can come out with anything worth listening to. He's taken a serious nosedive in the mental sense, which is obvious in his last couple albums and TV interviews etc over the last few years or so. He's too warped to do anything like he used to.

Motherboard: Asus M2R32-MVP CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ RAM: 4GB PC6400 DDR2 Video: 2x ATi Radeon x1600 Pro 512MB Sound: Creative Soundblaster Live! 5.1 (Current sound card in my P4, WILL NOT upgrade as I couldn't care for more) Other PCI cards: 1x Linksys LNE100TX Fast Ethernet Adapters (May go Gb in the future, not sure if I really care though. Motherboard sports 1 onboard anyway, I need 2 NICs. But wireless SUCKS!), 6 port USB 2.0 Card Optical Drives: LG GSA 4160B (In my P4, no need to replace this, does what I need. Be running on the IDE interface of course. Hard Drives: 4x 750GB+ SATA II hard drives + 1x 750GB+ PATA hard drive on IDE interface. I'm going all out on this one for storage space, as much as I can cram in there without adding any extra components to support it, I'm sick of having to move stuff around to accomodate, or burning things off when I'm still making use of em. Other: I currently use a 3.5" drive bay multi card reader, will also have one in the new PC. Uses 2 internal USB ports. I have LED fans as well, nothing special, I just think they're neat and I like the green glow that lets me wander around my apartment in the dark. You'd think aliens had invaded if you are in my apartment in the dark. Still think 600w is overkill? I don't, I think it's an overestimation by just a touch, but better than underestimating.

Not an issue, I wouldn't be looking to game with it. Just want to be able to run it and make daily use of it until I can fork over the dough for the PCIe card(s) I want. I just got my 933 back up and running on a Dell Lxxxr I got from work (They were gonna toss it, had a Celeron 566 in it), that is for my wife to do her University work on. I'd be giving her my P4 with parts from the Dell in it (PSU etc) and scrapping the Dell entirely. Got 5 PCs sitting on my floor/dining room table right now, old 933 board Bios dead. Gonna throw the Dell's 566 in it, and sell on Ebay as needing a bios replacement.

Ok just to put a damper on any suggestions here, I'm listing what I'm going with and the listed parts are FINAL. I'm set on them, and they are what I want and fit my budget....not to mention FAR exceed what I have (And I'm playing STALKER and Oblivion on this old beast quite well when weather effects aren't going) so even if they aren't "Top End", I don't need "Top End" like your average user does TYVM. Video Card(s): 2x Sapphire ATi Radeon x1600 Pro (I'll be going with just 1 for starters, picking up the second when $$$ permits) Every other component will be cannibalized from my existing p4 until $ permits upgrade (SATA HD's etc) The ONE question I really have, is AGP on PCI Express x16. Are there adapters for this? I remember reading before PCI Express was introduced, that this was going to be the case...but I can't find $hit on it anywhere. Is it possible? Do they exist, so I can get my system off the ground a little quicker? Also, what would be a good point to shoot for with a power supply? I'm knowledgeable enough to get a standard fair idea, but I haven't really kept up on technical aspects for a LONG time now, 600w PSU?

Certainly interested here, I'm sick of the TV service I have..it's all reruns and stupid "reality TV". Be nice to see something worth paying money for (Might even cause me to cut off my cable TV if it's good enough)

Can't say I can notice, I'd say every site is too damn slow. I want INSTANT ON! If I can visually notice the content on a page loading, when it isn't heavy on the media......it's slow.

Seems every Echelon rip isn't working. All the ones I've tried, that have Echelon intros follow suit with everyone elses testing, white screen + no music/screwed up music. I gave my DreamSNES disc a spin last night for kicks, and it runs perfectly. Only problem is, when I hit A to load a game, it "double taps" and loads the first game in the list. Emulator bug in the maple bus? Theres something neat about seeing an emulator run in an emulator.

I haven't used Explorer as my shell/file manager in years, but I can probably attribute this to a problem with something linked to Explorer. Have him run CHKDSK C: /F which will tell him it needs to be done on a reboot. Have him reboot and let it run. Rinse and repeat. Next, run a defrag on the C drive. As a final step, you should create a new shortcut in Documents & Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Startup and set the target as drwatson. This SHOULD detect a fault in Explorer either the first time, or after you close the error box (In which case Explorer should try to start itself again)

Nope, not on a Friday. I pretty much leave my computer alone during the week, other than to check my email and my bank account. Friday/The Weekend is the only real time I have to use it for more than a short period of time. Make it a Monday and they'd have themselves a deal. I can go 1 week, not just 1 day, have before.

I still haven't even seen anything that uses microSD, miniSD yes. Most MicroSD cards come with an SD adapter anyway.

I wanted something that would read more than just SD, allow me access to a USB port and go nicely in the front of my case. I, like you, only have SD based hardware. I also bought a 5 port (+2 internal) USB 2.0 PCI card to hook it up to, and give me something like 12 USB ports (I have alot of USB based adapters and my camera, printer, webcam......Qoob in my Gamecube). Just thought I'd throw it out there, that these things aren't expensive at all anymore.

Just saw it, was a great movie but the ending was ass! I know it wasn't an unfulfilling ending, but you don't end a movie like this, that way. I know it couldn't end with Xerxes being killed (Because if you read about th battle of thermopylae, he flees after almost all his navy is destroyed), but at least give us TEH WIN.
