  1. Perhaps my dislike for Java-based applications isn't on strong ground anymore since I do recognize the good points that Azureus has... even though it needs more than one process apart from its own to function properly. Actually Azureus runs self contained now, one single process. The VM isn't around hogging up memory of it's own ontop of Azureus. With the advent of Java 2, everything seems alot more decentralized from your OS and far more stable than previous Java versions. I've completely uninstalled Java before to make sure I got a clean update, I do this with everything now because too many things screw up with "updates".
  2. Azureus respects private torrents provided the torrent is created properly. As for being a memory hog, I'll agree it does use a considerable ammount, but I'm not worried by a program I WANT to use making use of a substantial ammount of memory, it's the stuff I'd rather not be using that bothers me (Like Explorer, which is why I use Directory Opus).......it's all in preference. What's the beef with Java though Agozer? Got some sort of hate on for Sun Micro? I'm going to check out this UTorrent however, but it's far newer than other proven clients and I'm used to Azureus. Unless it amazes me somehow, it'll probably end up deleted. Azureus does create non DHT/Private torrents. Wherever that tracker is that is banning it for that reason, doesn't know what they're talking about. I've created plenty of private torrents and never once had a DHT connection come through on one.
  3. Self booting games use two methods, one has a dummy audio track in the first session, where the game follows as data in the second session. Games with CDDA tracks always have the game CDDA in the same session as the game data. Anything found in another session is dummy data/audio. The other method is data/data and is also dummied. Oh and it's been disproven for years now, that certain Dreamcast models manufactured after a certain date won't boot homebrew/backups. They ALL do. btw, cdi2nero isn't always accurate in it's conversion. The much better choice is to mount a CDI in Daemon Tools and do a Disc Copy from the virtual drive in Nero. Newer games that utilize modified boot methods in order to make them self boot won't parse in CDI2Nero properly, and CDI v4 images almost always mess up.
  4. Talent like back in the days of the Amiga/Atari. Something most computer artists don't have as they rely on software like PSP or Photoshop to do the work for them. I don't find this surprising in the least, MS Paint is far more featured than programs from 15-20 years ago and I've seen some amazing stuff done then.
  5. Yes, it's extremely old and extremely fake. Topic locked for good reason.
  6. Sammaz is wanting this for a cabinet I'm assuming, but why not implement disabling the Start button? Anyone wanting to do so could just edit their config by hand. Don't make it an option visibile in the launcher, but in the config only. Something like.... #Kioskmode - Default is OFF(No) when ON(Yes) the START button is disabled in the launcher Kioskmode = No I'm happy with whatever good changes are implemented, everything I enjoy playing has worked great for the longest time. Keep up the good work!
  7. Aren't EDonkey servers like any other P2P? The files aren't hosted on them, so how can the server owner be held responsible for what the peers share on it?
  8. Need For Speed Underground 2 (U) goes ingame, can't see anything on the top screen though. Ridge Racer DS (U) gets to the menu, but you get stuck creating a save. Super Mario 64 (E) weeeeee! Damn too bad it gets stuck at the "Touch to start" screen. Lots more fire up and start, but it's pretty damn slow on my machine and I'm too lazy to do more typing. But anway, why's this in the DSEmu forum? Split to new topic in Nintendo DS forum.
  9. "Please do not turn the power off while saving" *Pulls power cord out*
  10. I use Raxco's PerfectDisk for defragmenting. As for keeping things "clean" I use Tuneup Utilities 2004 (Theres probably a newer version available now, I just haven't bothered checking). Tuneup Utilities registry cleaner does a better job than anything else I've tried. As for cleaning up the hard drive, I don't have a problem with it being messy in the first place.......so it doesn't find much.
  11. Yep, it's the same as with a desktop. Wired or Wireless.
  12. Joy2Key can also map to your mouse. And you can adjust dead zone, sensitivity etc.
  13. Did you bother to try Google? It works well you know. Search for Joy2Key
  14. Azureus > All
  15. Wow it's shaped like an e? Would that be a capital E or a little e? I think the pointyness of a capital E would hurt....
  16. At the same time! All aboard the hoooooooo train!
  17. It's 2 months later.....I'm not exactly interested anymore lol You'll get what you want on Ebay, maybe even more.
  18. Nothing new coming for Neo Geo, PERIOD. The hardware has been shelved and SNK Playmore moved to Atomiswave. Don't ask about Atomiswave emulation........
  19. lol and a completely open ended analog system that is archaic at best and well documented is good use for security, WHY?

  21. Yay! Survivor 130, Fear Factor season "Too damn many" and American Idol 15 in HD! Seriously, who the hell really watches TV anymore? It's all re-runs, "Reality TV" and pointless crap. btw, Reality TV would be Survivor with no voting crap. He who lives last wins!
  22. Who? This guy? http://www.funnyjunk.com/pages/burger.htm Oh wait, he doesn't have glasses. hehehe
  23. If you were born in the 90s, you won't remember a time when the internet didn't exist......in 1994, home usage was common via dialup. Previous to that public networks were around as early as 1987. The "Internet" as you and I see it now came to fruition with the first webpage using HTML/HTTP was up in 91. That one should be "You know you're a 90s kid when you think Cable Internet is how the internet started, and have no clue what BBS is." Oh and Inline skates aka Rollerblades were around in the 80s......they just didn't gain mass popularity till the 90s. If you were born in the 90s, you don't know diddly!
  24. How did you wind up with MP3s/WAVs IN the iso? They should be audio tracks. You're doing something wrong, terribly wrong.
  25. Want to know a secret? STOP trying to figure them out. Only then will you figure them out......
