  1. Pasofami is a Famicon emulator. Due to the site being entirely Japanese, we can't say anything more. Get it HERE
  2. I think you could be right. My win95 machine has 2x40gig drives, 1x cdrom, 1x cd burner. The bus speed of win95/98 is limited to 66mhz, but I got a patch from Microsoft and bumped the bus speed up to 100mhz. James, I'm not sure what you mean with the system 7 stuff. I got it originally before win98 came out, it was a 300mhz pc then, the processor a K6. One day the fan died, and the processor overheated, blowing itself and the motherboard. I got a new motherboard and a k6-2 processor which is what I have now. I leave the case off otherwise it gets too hot and hangs windows. And, back on topic, I successfully applied a diff patch, and compiled mame 0.101u1
  3. That's good speed for a 733, you've done well. The japanese mame has text consisting mostly of question marks and square boxes. I believe it's running on mame 0.37 beta 16... if that makes sense to you. It's got kof2003 so someone's been busy. Win95, 32 mb? I believe that only applies to the early version. Even dos 6.2 can see 64mb. Mine shows all 256mb, and the motherboard cannot take any more.
  4. I'm planning on getting through work the latest all-singing HP computer at a discounted price. I don't know what the fastest available processor is, but it's what I'm intending to get. The only thing I don't know is when. After that, I won't need to run mame on win95 any more. Another strange thing: this pc (w2k), and the win95 pc both run at 500mhz. This one has 512mb of ram, win95 pc has 256mb. Yet, neogeo games run at 5fps on this one, and 19fps on the win95. Yesterday I found a Japanese mame that runs neogeo at 60fps on this pc. Most interesting.
  5. ui.mak The line is obvious. Just add a backslash to the end, like the other lines have, and uncomment it. edit: i've got mame32 "working" on win95. Just a matter of commenting out the multimonitor support code in properties.c The problem occurs because win95/nt doesn't support multiple monitors, therefore the windows kernel code doesn't exist. For some reason the screen isn't completely filled (black border), but I'm not going to spend much time finding out why.
  6. Nope, what I needed was there, just needed to be commented back in. The win95 code will probably have to be "stolen" from mame - as soon as I identify what to steal.
  7. How many movies questions have there been recently? Probably none. Do you want to include recent releases / news / current affairs info about movies? Personally I don't care about movies at all. But others may be more interested. What do the other members think?
  8. I think the screens should be made larger.
  9. Another new staff member! Welcome Matt!
  10. I made a slight change to mame32 so that I can see what's missing. It compiled and worked ok. Next will be to see how to fix it for win95, which I think may take a while to work out.
  11. Basin? What's next - Kitchen Sink?
  12. 404 on that page, anyone?
  13. An emulator of the Atari ST >> Get it HERE Credits: Thanks to Emulation64 for the heads-up.
  14. >> Get it HERE Credits: EmuDreams for the heads-up.
  15. >> Get them HERE Thanks to RetroGuru for the heads-up.
  16. With all these new staff, I will be able to take a break. Hooray for me! How long before kojote becomes a staff member? j/k
  17. It seems he has been very naughty. Read this http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15156
  18. Someone's not happy.
  19. Mame works on win95 again! They must have fixed something at some stage. Mame32 doesn't work though. There are 2 mods I want to do on mame32. 1. Make it work on win95 2. Add a "Not Available" display option, so you can see what sets you're missing. Like what Kawaks has.
  20. These staff members seem to be multiplying! BigRedPimp, "the well-known GBA coder", according to my sources. Welcome to 1emulation !!
  21. The forum I used said that the htmlhelp files were needed even if you didn't want to make a help file. Anyway, the compile of mame32 was a success. I've joined the ranks of the elite! (haha) The next thing is to learn something of the programming language used. I expect the net would have plenty of resources; which ones do you think are the best?
  22. That's ok then. It would be bad if the error msg simply scrolled away and disappeared. If this works, I might look at perhaps learning a little about the language used (I assume it's c++ or similar). Maybe some modifications might get done one day.
  23. I've connected 3 pc's (2x w2k and 1x win95) by using a hub and normal cat5 network cables. Each has an IP address like what Madman said. It all works fine. As James said, what OS is on each pc? If you've got XP SP2, the firewall could be blocking communications.
  24. I got the files - just in case I want to make use of them one day. Not really. I checked that the iu folder was in the src folder (it is); and I checked your options against what's in my batch file (they agreed). I therefore feel as confident as a noob can be. The compile is under way, up to Compiling src/drivers/volfied.c If an error occurred, does it get written to a log? Does it cause the compile to stop - or does it carry on?
  25. If that person can run homebrew directly on 2.00, then the downgrader is no longer necessary. Thanks for letting us know.
