Hey I was just wondering this same thing. I decapped Ukyo- part of his arm (the stinger part) was just hanging off Genjuro's sword. But I haven't seen any full-body cleeaves as of yet. I'm wondering exactly which attacks will give which finishers. I guess a B or AB slash will slice the enemy in half, and the same applies in mid-air. Of course these have the fianl attack of the match (ie you have already won a round, and this is the final blow). Can someone confirm how to get the different finishes? (Not the Zetsumei Ougi or the QCF+CD moves, I've already done those.)

Yeah I d/l'ed Matrimelee and Sengoku 3- they are pretty damn good. As for the rest of them, meh, I'm not gonna bother, I've got all the kof I need. You guessed it bro!

1) Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Is this some lame version of kof2001 with different backgrounds? Any new charactrs or moves etc? Hell does it feature any of the movie characters? Why the the misleading name? And there's a 2003 version as well. 2) KOF 10th Anniversity Editon Unique Whats so unqiue about this version? I already have the ultra plus, so is it worth d/l'ing yet another version? 3) KOF2004 Special edition Hmm, is it ANOTHER kof2002 hack? And I've got a kof2003 hack which shows up as kof2004 on the title screen. Are these one and the same? While i'm here, are Matrimlee and Sengoku any good? I gather that matrimlee is a fighting game, but what's Sengoku about?

Well thanks for the suggestion, but as my new-found spanish-friends say "da nada men!". The are some great non-english speaking emulation forums out there where the members are extremely helpful(even to non-spanish speakers) and the rom links are up-to-date and plentiful. I just d/l'ed a.RAR containing kof2003, ultra plus hack, and two other versions all for Kawaks 1.46! And they all worked 1st time!(obviously editing my existing asr.dat) At least u guys showed me the light, however. Neoragex used to be my favourite emu, but Kawaks 1.46 + loader beats it hands down. Forget d/l'ing a new version just edit the dat and your good to go! Out of interest, are there ANY roms which WON'T work with kawaks + loader?

Okay, I'm trying to get my kof2003 rom running in Kawaks 1.46, to see if the practice mode works. Unfortunately, it has glitched graphics on the intro screen, and hangs when I press start. Here's an screen capture of my rom: I assume that I need to replace some of those files and/or patch them, so what are the names of the files/patches I need?

So just for clarification, no-one has a King Of Fighters 2003 (any version) with a WORKING practice mode? The other rom that was giving me trouble with practice mode (SSV special) was sorted by d/l'ing another romset, so I'm thinking ther is a rom out there which has a working practice mode. Does such a rom exist?

Okay I have got a SSV special rom called samshosp, and it works fine in hacked Neoragex- apart from the fact that I cannot exit practice mode The only way is fro me to reset, which is annoying to say the least. Any fixes out there to correct this? And before ppl say "oh it's neorageX" how comes I've got perfect versions of kof98-2002 in which the practice mode works fine? This indicates that the initial dump of SSV special was incomplete/buggy, so the emulated version will mirror that bug. Anyways, does the practice mode bug fix exist?

Okay, I managed to convert the neoragex version of samsho5 to a comaptible kawaks 1.46 w/ loader version, and the thing actually runs! But I'm stuck with the same problem as before- the practice mode STILL doesn't show up I was told that this was a problem with nrx, so i got kawaks 1.46 + loader, but the same problem persists. So maybe it's a problem with the rom? Can someone confirm they have got the pratice mode running in either neoragex or kawaks?

Thanks Agozer, I've found that neoragex ver you were talking about, and it runs my samsho5 rom fine. Only one problem... that darned practice mode is missing again. I know you guys are going to tell me that that it's nrx fault, and I have to use a different emu, but nebula comes out in B&W, while FRAevo(?) refuses to see the rom at all. It's frustrating to have multipel versions of an emu just to play sinlges roms, but a necessary evil, i guess. Are there any neoragex Samurai Shodown V roms with practice mode enabled?

I've got a samsho5 rom which i'm running in the Hacked neoragex ver. I manged to get it running, but it comes up with the dreaded "bank error". I gather that I need a different P1 rom. Could someone put up a link to the fixed P1?

Is it against board rules to put a link to a loader? If not then can someone plz link to Nebula 2.25 loader? Or better still a FBA loader for kof2k3plus?

i've found a Nebula loader, placed it into the the same folder as Nebula, ran it, and it states "unknown version of nebula". I'm using Nebula 2.25, but I've tried it with nebula 2.24, still same thing happens. I've also found a program called Romdatmaker- will this achieve the same thing or are they two totally different things? If you don't wish to discuss it on the board, could someone plz PM me?

I d/l'ed both FBA plus and Nebula but neither support kof2003. I guess there is an another file file I need in order for the rom to appear on the game list. Can you tell me which file I need? BTW the rom name is kof2k3plus. Any help is appreciated.

Hi everyone, i got a question about the hacked neoragex rom kof2k3plus. Why does this (and all the other versions of kof2oo3 i've come across) have no pratice mode menu? I can get into the practice mode, but there is no way ot exit it without resetting the emu. Is there any hack or anything to enable the pratice menu? FYI on ngx it's normally accessed by pressing "3" (not on numpad!). All the other kof have had the menu, why not this one? And also why does kof2003 look so ugly compared to kof2k2?
