  1. Thanks for the news, Robert! My main source for DS news is down right now.
  2. Your video card/monitor might not support that resolution... especially a modern system.
  3. Any of the Metal Slugs... or Top Hunter.
  4. power stone 2, nba 2k2, and lots of other dc games
  5. RPM Package Manager 7-zip can open these bad boys up in Windows.
  6. Open .001 or whichever is first with WinRAR and extract it.
  7. The Modern Guide to Sega Dreamcast Disc Burning
  8. Means whatever you're trying to patch doesn't support DLDI patching... period.
  9. Yes, with slot-1 devices (such as the R4DS), you'll only be able to play DS games. To be able to play slot-2 games you'll need to get a slot-2 device.
  10. Initial D (Japanese release only) for Sega Saturn is gnarley... one of my most played Sega Saturn games... very very 32-bit era, but I like old skool crap. All the races are night time-mountain Japan style street racing... and, IMO, the cars actually handle like cars... but what do I know? also, it's very well emulated in SSF.
  11. I don't know about the mod chip or whatever... but I do know that ConsoleSource has very fast shipping. I bought my R4DS from them and it got down to the southern part of America from Canada in 4 days.
  12. An 8 year old that knows Clone High and is into emulation?! Dear Jesus, we have an amazing kid here. Welcome!
  13. 8 years old? They sure do start young these days... I didn't get into the scene until I was about 12 or 13. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside seeing younger generations get into this stuff.
  14. Well, I've officially created my first guide for anything video game related: The Modern Guide to Sega Dreamcast Disc Burning. Why would I create this, you ask? Many of the guides I've found across the Internet are often out-dated and use old programs that I can no longer find or some other problem. Through trial and error/researching I've come up with a Dreamcast burning/booting solution that works for me and is thoroughly tested. It borrows from 1Emulation's very own Shibathedog's guides and gives it a much needed update, hence the: Modern. You can read the guide here, and that'll be its permanent homepage for future reference. All needed programs are hosted there and I will update the guide and/or links if need be.
  15. The homepage has been down for a week or two now, though.
  16. Does anyone have a good way to burn Dreamcast discs? I don't want to be pointed to a guide -- I want to know how you are personally doing it. I'm having lots of trouble getting this down. EDIT: Nevermind, I figured out why a lot of my discs weren't booting -- solution is here.
  17. Because it's what I own, obviously.
