actually, i heard there were ways you could even install windows on a macintosh.

silent hill is only one of the best modern series ever created. it scares you psycologically and not through shock tactics. one of the few games to come out recently (very few next gen games interest me) that i'm interested inplaying.

The camera in some 3d rpg's and some adventure games just plain suck. like i remmeber playing mario 64 and hating the camera with a passion sometimes.

the roms are a huge factor......

don't forget to move the file into the dat or cheat folder in the emulator and make sure it has the same name as the rom.

actually, before the net and stuff, i'd tape whatever songs i liked off the radio, because usually the rest of the album sucked ass. PLUS what they don't keep in mind is, in some countries they ONLY release full albums because they don't have offical extensions of their companies(i live in egypt) so there's no way, i'm paying money, for a crappy recording of a full album when i only like a few songs off of it (few being a minority) anyways.,

i use the keyboard. can kick serious ass using a keyboard (for fighting games) the only thing i perfer more is the actual arcade.

It's Technically possible, but i don't know of any emulators that have run games at more than like 3 fps or something. the reason is that the ps1 unlike the newer systems isn't powerful enough to emulate snes. i mean it took a minimum of a pentium 200 mhz to get any snes emulation running at a decent speed with sound and decent graphics. i'm pretty sure the playstation was weaker than that.

fight her with ukyo, galford, basara, or hanzo or suija and try to stay in the air a distance away from her (so she doesn't upper cut you) and attack her in the air about two characters away. should take her off.

You probably have a cheat running by accident (or default) check your cheats after running the rom.

it's actually not fake. Andy is in the game as a secret character... i think storyline wise he wanted an excuse to get out of kof offically. (kinda like iori and kyo in kof99 )

samurai showdown rpg has been in the works for years now actually. but the thing is, it's not a mvs rom, they're hacking the Iso of a neogeo cd.

i actually don't have matrimelee or rotd, so if you don't mind i'd rather you do it.

I'm a huge fan of SS games....but..... 1- new characters are over powered and VERY cheezy. 2- No story except in japanese? the hell were they thinking? 3- i can understand them retaining their graphic style (much like the kof series did through minor modifications of the graphics) but having graphics that seem almost exactly the same don't help. 4- bust and slash gone... EXCEPT for a few characters? (i.e ratsumaru...etc) why? 5- boss, ok, zankuro was cheap.. but you still respected him, same with amakusa... but that boss in ss5? i was busy laughing at his morphing and stuff until i realized how impossibly CHEAP he is (let me put it this way, i can stay out of ANYONE's way with galford no matter how fast tehy are, but this guy... headache mania.) 6- the main reason they made two life bars in ss4 is so matches wouldn't end in 3 slashes... well now they do. (my sogetsu took out hanzo in 3 slashes) 7- plot holes like hell (if basara was sent back in time, why not the other time lines? ) and why didn't he just go and warn himself when he was sent back in time BEFORE he killed his wife and got killed by zankuro ? all in all not a terrible game, but not an improvement over ss4 that i still LOVE playing.

I don't know of any attempt to translate a neo geo rom before. however it should be technically possible. I might take the challenge up myself once i'm finished with finals, but a nice decent polite request from one of the top rom hacking groups might get your results as well.

People, it's really a matter of how you percieve things. capcom vs snk was made to be the battle of the characters in the capcom style, which is why some people perfer it. however i (and some others) saw that the art for the game sucked (snk characters loooked like crap). and being that i'm one of those that isn't really fond of the usual capcom game engine style i didn't really like the game (but i hafta admit it's not a bad game) but the point is, it was made to FEEL like a capcom game. on the other hand, snk vs capcom was made to be the battle of the characters in teh snk style. i personally think the capcom characters look better than when capcom draws them, but then again that's just my opinion. but again, this game was MADE to feel like an snk game (and if you're a vetern of the kof games, you'll feel right at home.) it just feels like an snk game, and it wouldn't feel like that if it was made with another engine (like the awesome garou engine)
