@neil i dont get any problems with slowdown in that part of the game and i just use the basic settings. @eder182 use these settings to get the game to work. bios mode:bios file core version:1.4 gpu plugin:1.16 spu plugin version:1.9 there is a compatibility list for nealy all ps1 games over at xbox scene. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=238506 this is a very good guide and help for pcsxbox but if it says dosent work try it anyway as i found that games like strider2,x men children of the atom and raiden dx work by messing around with the settings. basically if a game dosent load use the 1.4 core version.

I think that's because Heavy Smash rom is contained in the "R3 showcase update" rar. BTW thanks for your hard work and dedication! Yes it's the point. Is it playable in the R2 version? nope.

sonic wings special is already in mame on xbox and plays far to slow as both these games are based on ps1 arcade hardware. edit/but the ps1 versions play just fine on pcsxbox and are arcade perfect ports.

edit/nevermind. i added the rom because it was on the list at the time and this was back when r2 was released.but no big deal...

cpx3 sourcecode was never released,so i cant see it happening.

i remember once reading on another forum a guy was having the same problem with a chipped xbox basically the dvd drive kept ejecting. all he did was open the xbox up and disconnected the dvd drive cable from the xbox and left it for about an hour then came back,pluged the dvd drive cable back in and it stopped ejecting.

did you overwrite the last version of reignite r2 with r3??? if so do a clean install of the emulator in other words delete all folders except roms,screenshots,videos and delete you gamesaves in t and u data folders in your e drive.the save folders are called babe... then copy over reignite r3.

@kpone concerning your problem with 2 and 4 player roms heres what to do. unrar the 4 player rom and then unrar the 2 player rom.put the files to both unrared roms into one folder and name it the sam name as the 2 player game.then compress it into a zip file and then you will hav 1 rom which is the 2 player version.

to answer some of these questions @chrisw80 i just tried gigawing and it works fine,it must be your rom,i suggest you download another one.you are probably missing files or else your not leaving it for long enough to boot up. @norkusa turn on the VMM in the advanced settings,change from automatic to manual. @mirsad those 2 games are already in coinops try them and see,ashura blade can be a bit slow at times but if you turn off sound it plays great. the follow up ashura buster is not though.

Don;t know if its available but Stun Runner? And THanks FU IQ and BP for everything have you ever tried playing it on midway arcade tresures 3??? i think thats going to be the only way to play it.of course there was also a port of stun runner to the atari lynx which you could try on medanfenx-lynx. 3d games and mame on xbox just dont mix if you know what i mean.

so can anyone think of any other games to add to coinops because i cant think of anything else..

Thinking about it, the R2 SHOWCASE I got was from a torrent, and wasn't rar'd/zipped. Think I could get a PM with the "official" full download anyways? I'm a bit of a purist, would like the original archive so the dates are right (dates on my copy of R2 are the date I downloaded it). i dont have links to showcase because tht was just available as a torrent,the only links i can give you is links to r2 and r3 standalone emulators.which are the original uploads by the way.

battletoads works fine for me on r3. showcase is basically the r2 emulator with 850roms and videos,r3 is an upgrade with new games and new videos obviously.

In MAWS Raiden Fighters 2 - 2000 (China) is reported as a clone of Raiden Fighters 2 http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/romset/rdft22kc The SFA3 service mode didn't work on older version of ReIgnite too (even on Ignite and Gold if I remember well) you can get access to selecting your game region in the cheats menu and i noticed that if you map the service mode to another button it starts to insert credits. just one of things then i suppose as i never really mess around with the settings myself.

About Raiden Fighters 2, I knew that the chinese bootleg Raiden Fighters 2 - 2000 (set name rdft22kc) was working, but I thought that the parent set was added too. Maybe I just misunderstood. And about Street Fighter Alpha 3, you're right, it's not a big deal, but since you can't enter service mode you can't change all options (time, difficulty...), not just toggle free play. And beside that, it's a bug that you can't enter service mode, so I thought to point it out. no need to apologise. raiden fighters2(2000) dosent have a parent rom as far as i know. could you enter service mode in earlier versions of reignite??

"Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder" Thats fantastic, I always wanted that game to run without any glitches in coinops, I hope iq_132 you sort it, and get it running full speed Myself being a huge Golden Axe fan this is good news. concerning the screenhots go into your videos folder and you will find them there then just move them to your screenshots folder.Bp already knows about heavy smash. raiden fighters 2 works just fine for me,you need the rom called raiden fighters2(2000) B rap boys they alreay know about the glitches,check the first post in the thread. as for streetfighter alpha 3 is it really that big a deal as you can play it just fine just means you dont have to put in any credits.
