  1. leave the sound in on gunnail bp,i prefer to have sound than no sound at all. also 4 game suggestions for iq 132 Denjin makai-prequel to guardians. info TODO: Protecttion Bugs: [possible] Palette Ram format correct, but color offset wrong? Source (ID 02433) WIP: 25th May 2008: David Haywood - I've been working on improving Denjin Makai recently, but that one hardly uses the COPX-02 protection (only for the score calculation between rounds and some timer countdowns) so the improvements seen in that in the last couple of releases don't reflect progress on the protection emulation. 0.125: David Haywood added extra tile banking and layer enable for Denjin Makai. 0.124u5: Added dipswitches 'Coin A', 'Coin B' and 'Unknown'. 0.124u3: Guru added good Denjin Makai gfx2 rom ($0). 0.124u2: Fixed gfx1/2 rom loading. Added 15x 'Unknown' dipswitches. 0.111u4: Changed visible area to 320x256 and fixed gfx2 rom loading. 0.79: Guru added Denjin Makai (Banpresto 1993). 15th January 2004: Guru - Denjin-Makai (Banpresto 1994, on Legionairre hardware) arrived from Japan. Thunder heroes info 0.111u4: Added 'Free Play' dipswitch. 0.111u3: Guru added Thunder Heroes (Primetek Investments 2001). 25th September 2006: Guru - Thunder Heroes arrived a few days ago from Japan with the latest PCB shipment. Thanks to Dyq and BNathan for the funds used to purchase most of the Mahjong games Fantasy zone 2 info 0.74u2 [David Haywood, Charles Macdonald, Stephane Humbert, Mike Beaver] 0.37b16 [David Haywood, Charles Macdonald, Stephane Humbert, Mike Beaver] NOTE: It is ESSENTIAL we find a Fantasy Zone 2 board in working condition AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, the batteries on these are dying at an ever increasing rate. WIP: 0.113u3: David Haywood replaced old Sega System E driver with new one based on HazeMD. Nicola Salmoria added proper MC8123 decryption code and MC-8123B 317-0057.key to Fantasy Zone 2 - Game now playable. Changed clock speed of the 2x SN76496 to 3579540 Hz. Fixed cpu1 rom loading and added dipswitches 'Coin A/B', 'Demo Sounds', 'Lives', 'Timer', 'Difficulty' and 'Unused'. 15th March 2007: David Haywood - Nicola found a weakness in the way Sega generated their keys for the M8123 which made decrypting Fantasy Zone 2 and Opa Opa much easier than anybody had expected. Both games (running on the System E arcade platform) work fine with the SMS emulation from HazeMD. I need to port this over to MAME so that they work properly in MAME too. Aaron should be thanked too for noticing that the FD1094 keys were generated by a Psuedo-Random number generator rather than actually being Random, this was also found to apply to the MC8123 and was the basis of Nicola's work. 14th March 2007: R. Belmont - Nicola has fully cracked the Sega MC8123 encrypted CPU. This means, among other things, that games like Opa Opa and Fantasy Zone 2 now run. MAMEdev was afraid those games might be lost forever, since no working examples were known, but now they'll be back to life. 0.100u4: Fixed rom names. 0.74u2: Added Fantasy Zone 2 (Sega 1988). - 0.37b16: David Haywood added Fantasy Zone 2 (Testdriver). TODO: Game is decrypted, looks tricky. Opa Opa the tears of Opa Opa WIP: 0.113u3: Nicola Salmoria added proper MC8123 decryption code and MC-8123B 317-0042.key to 'Opa Opa' - Game now playable. Changed clock speed of the 2x SN76496 to 3579540 Hz. Added dipswitches 'Coin A/B', 'Demo Sounds', 'Lives', 'Bonus Live', 'Difficulty' and 'Unused'. TODO: Game is decrypted, looks tricky. thanks.
  2. i cant say i have had that problem myself,i think the longest i had it left on and doing nothing in the romscreen was about 30minutes.
  3. the screenshots work fine its just that they turn up in your videos folder instead of your screenshots folder so just transfer them to your screenshots folder. edit/also remember redcapsman there is a screenshots pack that was released a whule back tha you might want to look at.
  4. well seeing as this is about coinops heres my faves. raiden fighters2(shock) osman boogie wings rhoga super contra parodius series..yes all of them gradius 2 much better than 3. dyna gears some great 2d animation strahl..since the music got added i have been playing this quite a lot. strider...i never tire of this game raiden..hard as hell double dragon..speed fix has helped this game a lot final fight..just because forgotten worlds..because its fucking great. loads more..
  5. whenever your ready to release r3 bp just let me know.
  6. I just completed that yesterday as the meaner predator, wonder if you get a different ending for each character? great game tho. Gonna try osman next no i dont think you get different endings for each character as far as i remember. been playing ss mission on coinops and panzer bandit on pcsxbox.
  7. sorry i have no idea as that is the coverter which britneyspairs uploaded a while ago.remember the emulator plays xmv videos not wmv like you have posted.
  8. shienru on pcsxbox,as good as the saturn version. raiden dx on pcsxbox http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rn41ZXr4Yb8 gaia seed on pcsxbox, this game is probably the most expensive one to get on ps1.

  10. if you want to upload the videos for ignite showcase then i would take a look at it.
  11. i posted a link to the conversion tool remember you did download it?? lol no i'm sorry can you resend me the link ? thanks my friend captain tomaday 1280x720 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDgn7y8jwds&NR=1 monster maulers 1280x720 link to convertor. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VRT1WSTM
  12. cant see nfl blitz emulating well on xbox mame especially as its a 3d game. your nest bet is n64 port on surreallxxxb5 or ps1 port on pcsxbox, they should be pretty acurate ports because the arcade hardware wasnt that far off what these 2 consoles specs were.
  13. i posted a link to the conversion tool remember you did download it??

  15. heres a vid of b rap boys, looks like a good beat em up.
  16. bonks advnture, great stuff thanks again guys.
  17. It has quite a few protection-related bugs (that result in crashes) meaning that it's terribly unstable and not terribly playable. Sorry I keep shooting these suggestions down guys, but I hate to spend time on games that don't work well. Thanks for the suggestions though. Keep them coming! no worries thanks for the reply,i usually check out system 16 to get info on a lot of games with screenshots but it looks like that place has ceased to be. but there is maws though. iirc, sixtoe sucks at remembering to renew his server/address stuff, it's likely he just forgot or has simply exceeded his bandwidth usage. (I hope ). [edit] I wonder if I can talk a certain admin into offering to set up a mirror or even a main site for him... hmm.... IIRC he switched to a different server about 4-5months ago,the site was down for quite a while.
  18. Cool, the X68000 looks really good, tried googling to find a copy with games etc no joy could you point me in the right direction 0'knowledgeable one EDIT: actually scrap that someone was cool enough to put up a megaupload link on t'internet so found it cool for anyone using the x68000 emulator then to get the best out of it use these options for better sound and smoother scrolling. in the options speed:16mhz(xvi) opm volume:16 pcm volume:16 mcr volume:16 i find these are the best options to use and with the cpu speed set at 16mhz the games load quicker.

  20. if you are still looking for requests for drivers iq 132 then there is a game called Double wings, another one of the Deco 12 games. info. WIP: 0.129u3: Angelo Salese improved the sound in Double Wings by appling the same handling of Night Slashers (they are actually similar if not same memory map). 0.128u4: Angelo Salese fixed several protection issues with Double Wings, improved video and sound. Added 'Territory' dipswitch. 21st November 2008: Angelo Salese - Looking at Double Wings protection, first of all to fix the protection jump vectors in it. Protection works in a easier way than expected, to say in the simplest words I can use it's a "fan type jump vectors" (i.e. only a few possible results are expected). 0.126u4: Fabio Priuli added DIP locations to Double Wings. 0.106u3: Brian Troha, Guru and Yasuhiro Ogawa updated dipswitches in Double Wings. These dips are read using the protection, thus they don't currently have the stated effect on the game as the protection is not implemented right now. Also the Original PCB showed the title screen in English, and the current implementation shows it in Korean(?), so it is likely there is a Language dip/jumper setting. Added 'Coin A/B', 'Flip Screen', 'Lives', 'Difficulty', 'Bonus Life', 'Allow Continue' and 'Demo Sounds'. 0.98u4: David Haywood fixed sprite rendering in Double Wings. Added Z80 (4MHz) CPU2, YM2151 (3.58MHz) and OKI6295 (7627 Hz) sound. 0.96: Re-added Double Wings. 0.95u6: This game was removed from MAME. 0.95u5: Swapped cpu1 roms ($0, 1). 0.84: David Haywood added Double Wings (Mitchell 1993). 22nd April 2005: David Haywood - Decrypted Double Wings. Another one of the Deco 102 games, this gets a bit further and runs through its attract mode quite well. 15th May 2001: Guru - Purchased Double Wings from a PCB shop in Japan with the help of Team Japump in February.
  21. strider 2 is a great game and a brilliant follow up with great level design,it was only released in the arcades on ps1 arcade hardware and the ps1 port is a perfect port. the game plays great on pcsxbox,i would suggest hunting it down. oh yeah and the sharp x68000 is my fave console/computer emu after the megadrive and snes.
  22. for everyone who is asking the r3 release isnt out yet as far as i know. regarding lighgun games on a hdtv with 50/60hz option,it dosent make any difference if you if you can swith to 50hz,your guns wont work it is possible to get lightguns that can be used for lcd tvs,but dont ask me what makes or brands of lightgun because i dont know.
  23. damn i forgot about gaiaplolice, good game.there was a pirated nes port of gaiapolice but its bloody terrible,no surprise there. what a bizarre game monster mawlers looks but in a good way. i know that gaiapolie loads up but you get to a test screen(this was a long time ago)and you have to do something in the options to get it ruo but unfortunately i dont think the option is in mame on the xbox.im going to try out these tommorow and see what happens. Martial Champion, Gaiapolis, and Monster Maulers are all on the same driver and all already in MAME 0.84. You'll have to bug bp about adding them if they're not already in. As for Crystal Kings, iirc, bp added that in a while ago, but it runs like shit. Thanks for the input though guys. The list of unported/nonworking games that actually interest me is dwindling. lol i know that gaiapolie loads up but you get to a test screen(this was a long time ago)and you have to do something in the options to get it to run but unfortunately i dont think the option is in mame on the xbox.im going to try out these tommorow and see what happens.

  25. might as well revive this old bugger of a thread. been playing a LOT of osman and im working on getting a 1cc on this game.not easy though but the boss patterns are easy to learn its more the platform elements of the game that are more challenging. also been playing the brilliant and underrated sharp x68000(x68000x) emulator on xbox. been playing thunderblade on x68000x,an almost arcade perfect port.cant find any vids of this one. also been trying out cotton on the sharp x68000,again another arcade perfect port, better than the ps1 version in my opinion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2R4yzGPwyBw graidus2 also on x68000x http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OymQS_a-T90
