DoDonPachi 2 isn't playable in any emulator. Kov2 with its arm7 protection processor is quite slow, too slow to emulate nicely on xbox, and too complex to simulate the arm7 (unlike kovsh). yeah i thought kov2 would be to much for the xbox and i dare say martial masters would be the same. yeah your right about ddp2 i remember trying ddp2 on a newer biuld of mame. I just added G-LOC, Turbo Outrun, and Cotton. Do any of the PGM games work on the Xbox? knights of valour knights of valour plus oriental legend these games play well on the xbox under fbaxxx and coinops reignite.

there is a really good shooter called vimana by toaplan which i have been playing on coinops lately.i know the sound on a lot of toaplan shooters isnt fully emulated yet but i do remember reading somewhere about a process called decapping. do you know if they have got any futher in actually getting the sound emulated yet iq???

found this game just today called final zone 2 for the pc engine cd and its a pretty good game. plays really well on medanafenx-pce.

well off the top of my head. the fd encrypted games like as you say turbo outrun,dd crew,desert breaker,ab cop,... i would love to see the arcade version of cotton emulated on the xbox,it is playable on pc fba but not xbox,unfortunately its another fd encrypted game. the pgm games dodonpachi 2 beestorm and knights of valour 2 would be something but i think that might be pushing it.again these 2 games are playable on pc fba.

its either sunset riders like iq says or wild guns,as i know you can play as a cowgirl in this. but wild guns is not by konami so it probably is sunset riders.

I have Tekken 3 running pretty well. Used some settings from over at Xbox Scene (A guy posted his settings). Just a tad slower than a real PSX, but very playable. Can't remember settings at the mo... i used to run tekken 3 as well but i found that the ps2 version of tekken 5 has tekken1,2and3 arcade versions on the disc so i just removed tekken from my xbox hdd. tekken 6 comes out this month,i am going to be getting it for the 360 but for me the best tekken is tekken dark ressurection on the psp,absolutely tonnes of chracters to choose from.

Nope, none. My suggestion is: PCSX with Mortal Kombat Trilogy. @neil i dont get any problems with slowdown in that part of the game and i just use the basic settings. @eder182 use these settings to get the game to work. bios mode:bios file core version:1.4 gpu plugin:1.16 spu plugin version:1.9 there is a compatibility list for nealy all ps1 games over at xbox scene. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=238506 this is a very good guide and help for pcsxbox but if it says dosent work try it anyway as i found that games like strider2,x men children of the atom and raiden dx work by messing around with the settings. basically if a game dosent load use the 1.4 core version.

I think that's because Heavy Smash rom is contained in the "R3 showcase update" rar. BTW thanks for your hard work and dedication! Yes it's the point. Is it playable in the R2 version? nope.

sonic wings special is already in mame on xbox and plays far to slow as both these games are based on ps1 arcade hardware. edit/but the ps1 versions play just fine on pcsxbox and are arcade perfect ports.

edit/nevermind. i added the rom because it was on the list at the time and this was back when r2 was released.but no big deal...

cpx3 sourcecode was never released,so i cant see it happening.

i remember once reading on another forum a guy was having the same problem with a chipped xbox basically the dvd drive kept ejecting. all he did was open the xbox up and disconnected the dvd drive cable from the xbox and left it for about an hour then came back,pluged the dvd drive cable back in and it stopped ejecting.

did you overwrite the last version of reignite r2 with r3??? if so do a clean install of the emulator in other words delete all folders except roms,screenshots,videos and delete you gamesaves in t and u data folders in your e drive.the save folders are called babe... then copy over reignite r3.

@kpone concerning your problem with 2 and 4 player roms heres what to do. unrar the 4 player rom and then unrar the 2 player rom.put the files to both unrared roms into one folder and name it the sam name as the 2 player game.then compress it into a zip file and then you will hav 1 rom which is the 2 player version.
