californidad get the xbox mod-chipped and save yourself a lot of hastle,if your going to biuld an arcade cab im sure you are probably handy with a soldeing iron.

pretty much have tried most of them apart from the daphne emulator,one game for that emu is several gigs to download,dont see the point myself.

well thats the hdd cable ordered so it should be here by friday,got it for £7.00 from ebay(uk seller)most of the cables i seen seem to be in that sort of price bracket.

yup its the first time im going to be using hd on the xbox,figured with all these emus able to output in high definition mught as well give it a go. any component cables i should stay away from or are they all much and such the same.

well i put the old original xbox dash back in and put the enigmah video switcher on the hdd.so i will get the cables tommorow if all goes to plan.

do i still need to have the xbox original dash installed or can i just change it to 720p in xbmc??

ok im going to buy some component cables on xbox tommorow on ebay and i have been reading up on it.basically because i have a pal xbox then obviously i have to download the enigmah programme to change the dash to nstc to enable 720p. i have also read that some people when changing their dashes to nctc get a black screen,now i am presuming its because they have older televisions and they can tdisplay in nstc.but i have a newer 37inch lcd so i think i should be ok. so i have 2 questions has anyone with a newer television had any problem converting their dash from pal to nstc with a newer televeision and can you run enigmah off a disc ir can ou just put it on your xbox hdd??

Finished updating the core to the latest FBA tonight. Now working on getting all the VM code added so CPS2, NeoGeo, PGM, and Cave games work. Then I will work on bugs in the GUI I'm starting over on the core update. A new FBA version was released today. good stuff,looking forward to this.

can you run the game you used when you softmodded your xbox??

i am presuming its driver work or it could be adding cores from different emulators/systems.

i say add more cores to coinops as its all about the games at the end of the day,the gui is good persanally i dont think much else needs to be done gui wise.

there should be a text file in the xbmc folder which tells you which version you have.

the ersion of xbmc you are using might be to old,which version of xbmc did you download?

i can get abov 10mph in pole psoition2 wothout even mapping the gear button.

how are things coming along with your fba legends emulator nes?

its because the lo/hi gear hasnt been mapped to the controller.its very easy to fix just go into the gae then hit back and white to bring up the ingame menu.then go to controls and you will see gear shift is mapped to the space bar,so just hit the A button on your controller and map it to another button like say X. hey bp any news/updates on the progress of r4.

i was never into pinball but i did enjoy devil crush on the pc engine via emulation,also got a megadrive release as well.

Oh really, Darn cause I just got XBMC loaded up, looks great!! I was trying to DL the rapier skin but, the zip file keeps saying its corrupt?? Tried a few different zip programs.
