how are your updates going to the emu nes??

just read his post in the farewell thread and you will see that he says he is working on it but when things will get released i dont know.

if you want to get back to the dash without turning off your xbox just hit the start button to bring up the menu,you will see the option to go back to the dash in there.

just to clear some things up,i have recieved a couple of pms concerning coinops r5 or r6 and someone was also asking for a pm for r6. just so you know i have no idea when any of this stuff will be released as you have seen in other threads the emulator seems to be getting worked on from behind the scenes and im sure when there is a release we will know about it. the whole point of this thread is to keep the discussion of reginite going so it keeps the interest of the emulator in this forum. i am in the dark as much as the rest of you but there will be a release at some point im sure. hopefully that will clear some things up and save some confusion.

sega system 32 games arent emulated in final burn alpha IIRC..so golden axe the revenge of deathadded would be a no.

Thanks to everyone who offered to beta test. Once the first release is out, then everyone can post what games break, crash the Xbox, etc... The newest core supports over 2700 games. No way I can test all of them. I updated the core to the latest FBA. I could probably do another Final Burn if there were any games people wanted me to add. I'd like to keep it Sega games, or games not emulated anywhere else on the Xbox, but that's not a rule. The games I put in 1.0 and 1.1 were requested specifically. FBL is still a few weeks away at least. if you wish to release an update to final burn then there are these sega games you cant play on xbox and i would like to try. bullet fantasy zone2(system E arcade hardware) sonic boom M.V.P dunk shot crack down gain ground scramble spirits these are the only sega games i can think of that you cant play because of fd encrytpion or just hasnt been updated past mame 0.84. does the new update allow desert breaker and dd crew to be playable nes?

californidad get the xbox mod-chipped and save yourself a lot of hastle,if your going to biuld an arcade cab im sure you are probably handy with a soldeing iron.

pretty much have tried most of them apart from the daphne emulator,one game for that emu is several gigs to download,dont see the point myself.

well thats the hdd cable ordered so it should be here by friday,got it for £7.00 from ebay(uk seller)most of the cables i seen seem to be in that sort of price bracket.

yup its the first time im going to be using hd on the xbox,figured with all these emus able to output in high definition mught as well give it a go. any component cables i should stay away from or are they all much and such the same.

well i put the old original xbox dash back in and put the enigmah video switcher on the hdd.so i will get the cables tommorow if all goes to plan.

do i still need to have the xbox original dash installed or can i just change it to 720p in xbmc??

ok im going to buy some component cables on xbox tommorow on ebay and i have been reading up on it.basically because i have a pal xbox then obviously i have to download the enigmah programme to change the dash to nstc to enable 720p. i have also read that some people when changing their dashes to nctc get a black screen,now i am presuming its because they have older televisions and they can tdisplay in nstc.but i have a newer 37inch lcd so i think i should be ok. so i have 2 questions has anyone with a newer television had any problem converting their dash from pal to nstc with a newer televeision and can you run enigmah off a disc ir can ou just put it on your xbox hdd??

Finished updating the core to the latest FBA tonight. Now working on getting all the VM code added so CPS2, NeoGeo, PGM, and Cave games work. Then I will work on bugs in the GUI I'm starting over on the core update. A new FBA version was released today. good stuff,looking forward to this.
