i dont see why not if it dosent work first then just go into the ingame options by pressing sart and white or something like that.then go to remap game and go to whichever controls you want to remap and hit the start button or the A button on your steering wheel and turn the steering wheel to the left say for it to recognise it as left. its something like that,you will suss it out very quickly.

to do this,go to programmes and then basically just point xbmc in the direction of your coinops folder,it will let you browse to it.where it says add folder in your programmes or something like that.

no dont leave them in their folders.just have all the roms in one folder called roms.

you can ftp the files across or burn them to dvd,then once burned to dvdr just pop the disc in your xbox drive and use xbmc file manager to copy the files onto your xbox hdd.

yes you can put your emulators on your xbox hdd and play the roms off a dvd/cdr. if you wish just ftp the emulators into your xbox hdd and depending on which emulators you wish to run as some emulators namely the xport emulators have a file browser to search through your xbox hdd. but if your just going to be useing discs for your roms then you would be just as well burning the emulator to dvdr as well. in order to play emulators and roms off the xbox dvd drive you have to convert the files into what is called an xbox iso. here are som links to help people convert their xbox games/homebrew files to cdr/cdrw/dvdr and then burn to dvdr/cdrw/cdr. you can download qwix here,this will convert your files into a xbox iso. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FI9GYAOF here is a tutorial on how to use qwix and make a xbox iso http://www.xboxscene.com/articles/qwix-iso.php then once you have your iso use dvd derryptor to burn the iso to dvdr,burn at the slowest speed 1x. download for dvd decryptor http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0WWE3H1H good luck.

yeah you can run linux on a phat ps3 but not the slim version.sony took out that option with the slim version,thus the cheaper price point and no ps2 backward compatibility and other odds and sods were removed. actually allowing the ps3 to run linux was a clever move on sonys part,emulation right out of the box.

i am intersested in trying a bbc micro emu for dos286 if it exists,do you know of any???? also do you need a certain biuld of mame for the old386??? i know you said pre 0.106 but with all the different versions of mame,was just wondering.

no thats not what i meant in my pm to you robert.what i meant was that i am running a port of dosbox on my xbox which emulates old 386 dos computer systems and i was looking for a site that would maybe have emulators for old systems like say the commodore 16 or bbc micro computer that would run on 386dos.i am basically trying to emulate older systems that havent been ported over to xbox using the dosxbox emulator.

hey guys With the systems that are not emulated in xbox i always thought that it would be possible to emulate other systems with dosxbox.so after a bit of searching looking for a c128 emulator that would work on an old 386 dos system i found an emulator called pc128. download here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=L1A1ZOHW if you put the folder into dosxbox and then run the application pc.128 then it will boot up just fine to the old commodore 128 screen. i havent figured out how to run games on it yet as i have no experience of this machine so if anyone has used the old commodore 128 then they are welcome to try. you can use the virtual keyboard in dosxbox to type in commands and prompts but like i say i have never used this machine. i think this could open the door to commodore 16/4/+4 emulation as well on the xbox.

pm sent. you dont need a full download and ther isnt one anyway.jjst transfer your roms and screenshots over to the new emu and it will work fine. try star wars in this new version,if you have a full romset from a previous download then you will have the full set.
