  1. Yes, if you mean the CRC numbers. What about the rest of the info? Ratio = 0%? Ratio is the compression percentage. I created the zip with no compression to speed up my tests, so the ratios show as 0%. edit: if your CRCs are the same, then I suspect it could be my BIOS. My bios look like this: Length Method Size Ratio Date Time CRC-32 Name -------- ------ ------- ----- ---- ---- ------ ---- 65536 Stored 65536 0% 09-20-01 15:47 e09e253c 000-lo.lo 131072 Stored 131072 0% 11-23-02 17:48 d27a71f1 AES-BIOS.BIN 131072 Stored 131072 0% 05-20-03 05:37 91b64be3 asia-s3.rom 65536 Stored 65536 0% 10-12-01 19:20 e09e253c ng-lo.rom 131072 Stored 131072 0% 03-06-98 16:21 354029fc ng-sfix.rom 131072 Stored 131072 0% 10-25-98 14:33 97cf998b ng-sm1.rom 131072 Stored 131072 0% 03-06-98 16:21 354029fc sfix.sfx 131072 Stored 131072 0% 10-28-98 22:58 97cf998b sm1.sm1 131072 Stored 131072 0% 04-17-03 17:14 2723a5b5 sp-e.sp1 131072 Stored 131072 0% 03-01-00 21:17 acede59c sp-j2.rom 131072 Stored 131072 0% 07-17-00 17:23 c7f2fa45 sp-s.sp1 131072 Stored 131072 0% 12-03-97 15:54 9036d879 sp-s2.sp1 131072 Stored 131072 0% 11-11-02 15:07 0ce453a0 uni-bios.10 131072 Stored 131072 0% 03-10-03 22:26 5dda0d84 uni-bios.11 131072 Stored 131072 0% 07-28-03 17:33 e19d3ce9 uni-bios.12 131072 Stored 131072 0% 05-18-03 22:28 e72943de usa_2slt.bin 131072 Stored 131072 0% 11-22-95 00:44 f0e8f27d vs-bios.rom Are yours similar?
  2. Anyone got this to work on NRX ECGC? I've gotten the fixed P1 but I it ends up with garbled graphics on the "How to Play" screen and the character selection is screwed up. My romset currently looks like this: Length Method Size Ratio Date Time CRC-32 Name -------- ------ ------- ----- ---- ---- ------ ---- 8388608 Stored 8388608 0% 01-13-04 23:11 e42fc226 kof2k3_c1.rom 8388608 Stored 8388608 0% 01-13-04 23:11 1b5e3b58 kof2k3_c2.rom 8388608 Stored 8388608 0% 01-13-04 23:11 d334fdd9 kof2k3_c3.rom 8388608 Stored 8388608 0% 01-13-04 23:11 0d457699 kof2k3_c4.rom 8388608 Stored 8388608 0% 01-13-04 23:12 8a91aae4 kof2k3_c5.rom 8388608 Stored 8388608 0% 01-13-04 23:13 9f8674b8 kof2k3_c6.rom 8388608 Stored 8388608 0% 01-13-04 23:12 374ea523 kof2k3_c7.rom 8388608 Stored 8388608 0% 01-13-04 23:13 75211f4d kof2k3_c8.rom 131072 Stored 131072 0% 01-27-04 13:07 396e17cd kof2k3_m1.rom 8388608 Stored 8388608 0% 07-16-04 16:45 8740e1a5 kof2k3_p1.rom 131072 Stored 131072 0% 03-04-04 21:10 7c7829aa kof2k3_s1.rom 4194304 Stored 4194304 0% 01-13-04 23:14 d2b8aa5e kof2k3_v1.rom 4194304 Stored 4194304 0% 01-13-04 23:14 71956ee2 kof2k3_v2.rom 4194304 Stored 4194304 0% 01-13-04 23:14 ddbbb199 kof2k3_v3.rom 4194304 Stored 4194304 0% 01-13-04 23:14 01b90c4f kof2k3_v4.rom
  3. People on older Linux machines might want to check this out: http://m.peponas.free.fr/gngeo/ It's a plenty fast neogeo emulator that works on lower-end machines. Performance is comparable to NRX which is very good. I've tested this on a P166 MMX with 96mb ram (I compiled this package to use the optimised asm routines rather than the generic C ones) and managed to achieve framerates of abt 20-25 fps in 16-bit colour and full sound emulation, which is quite impressive. The down sides of this thing are that: - it doesn't have many of the features in modern emus like network play, - is command-line activated (like MAME) - and the default ROM driver database doesn't include a lot of the newer games, which means you have to write them yourself. Overall, the impressive performance outweigh the cons and I'd highly recommend it to any Linux user.
  4. Anyone tried SP2 and knows if it works on the less than pristine copies of XP?
  5. Actually, that would be if you're a dumbass.
  6. KOF98 Samurai Spirits 2 Samurai Spirits 5 Garou SFA3
  7. The Great Ones or our lord and master, Cthulhu. Yeah, now we're talking. Cthulhu. And Hastur! Hastur! Has...ha!.
  8. Aye. DOS 4 lyfe. Attrib -r +s C:\ Drive letterings are evil.
  9. Nothing too freakish. Had somthing similar looking to one of them for dinner yesterday. I would rather see pictures of giant deep sea monsters like megalodon and the giant squid.
  10. Know DOS commands? I'm one of those trying to forget I ever knew DOS commands.
  11. I thought the Last Samurai IS based on historical facts?? Fictionalised facts (aka Hollywood BS As Usual) http://www.japan-guide.com/news/0002.html
  12. Can't you borrow your brother's copy and test it first? I would test it indefinitely if I were you and use the $$$ saved for my rent
  13. OMG, this stinks. And what big picture might that be?
  14. How do I interpret the character status in this game? When I bring up the status menu, all I see are a bunch of funny symbols. How do I tell how much experience, health and magic I have? Is there a manual for this game somewhere?

  16. Home is deliberately designed to include limitations when used with Windows domain networks. The max number of Home XPs is limited to a pretty small figure (can't rememebr exact figure).
  17. any other vids where that came from? i'm actually more interested in the unofficial SNK tourney hosted at EVO.
  18. I, hereby solemnly swear, to deny all ownage of Disgaea or the upcoming Phantom Brave.
  19. The anti-SNK sentiment isn't all that bad in SRK as long you post in the correct category (ie don't post SNK stuff in a folder marked Street Fighter).
  20. *wakes up to see what the commotion was about*.....*continues snoozing*.........still waiting for SSV special release.
  21. That forum is pretty fan-boyish. I'd stick to fierceslash.com or shoryuken.com for competitive gameplay discussion.
  22. Not in the UK. "Asians" is commonly used to refer only to south-west Asians. That's why I was seeking a clarification.
  23. The term Asians typically refers to people of south-west Asian (eg Indian, Pakistani) or Middle Eastern descent in the UK rather than Oriental Asians. Which definition does your statistic use?
