1. Are you "root" when trying to install stuff? And you need to give more detailed error messages (in particulat the files which are missing) in order to be rendered more assistance. 2. Your sound doesn't work? Or what? As above, give specific error msgs. Post the output of "lspci -vv" (run as root).

I don't know where the slow stereotype came from (maybe it's an Asian american thing), because Asians are among the biggest speed demons I've seen behind the wheel. Reckless driver would probably be a better stereotype. Taiwanese are notorious for this.

What about Ukyo? Has he been improved?

Damn, you don't get the girl in this game! Square really ruined the story this time, which was really a shame considering how great the game was technically. I mean, you work your ass halfway through the game to save Yoyo, and then she ends up falling for the enemy's general. And the worst thing is, she brings that SOB on board the resistance's ship, while giving you that "Let's just be friends but still I need your help in running this ship" crap. Meanwhile, the adulterous pair display their mushy-smoochy crap every chance they get, while you get cuckolded for the rest of the game being some over glorified erand boy for her. WTF was Square thinking when they made this game?

What do you mean Hanzo's brainbuster? Are you referring to his dp+S command throw (Mozo Otoshi)? I believe he still has it. Hanzo wouldn't be Hanzo w/o that move.

Am I the only one who does not know what this thread is all about? Seems like 1emu has some kind of inner circle.

Personally, I like it because the game system (SS1,2 and V) forces the player to learn the ins and outs of each of the characters' moves (both normal and special) and makes him put in the effort for even simple 2-hitter combos. As a result, the gameplay involves more strategy rather than just a game of who gets to land that 30-hit combo first.

I'm not too sure about Debian. But it sounds very likely your CD is corrupted (improper burning or whatever reason). For FC, have you tried the installation from the command-line in text mode? ie rpm <package name>. If you still need help with debian, try signing up with the forums on their site. You might also want to check out www.linuxquestions.org (for all Linux related stuff, not just debian).

No one really cares abt them in competitive gameplay. From what I hear, it is the most balanced of all the SS.
