  1. By refusing to hang it up, Ric Flair has lost whatever legacy he had. Today, when I look at Flair, all I see is an out-of-shape, under-performing overglorified mid-card jobber rather the 19? time World champion.
  2. I guess he was probably keeping abreast with the latest developments.
  3. I brought up that retard's name because he seems to be imitating the Rock's movesets. Stone Cold has left the WWE after a contract dispute with the Boss. Frankly, he doesn't really add anything of much value anyway. That beer swilling redneck gimmick has been milked for all it's worth and has become rather stale. On top of that, he can no longer wrestle anymore, so what's the point? The other veterans are probably dead, retired or fell out of favour with the Boss. But I would love to Bret Hart in action one last time and close his career on a high note.
  4. One less pair of breasts to ogle at isn't going to kill the game.
  5. Good riddance. No more of those Clark scrubs at last.
  6. I am aware of that. What I wanted to clarify was whether the cpu and hw are part of the gameboards or whether the boards contain only the game rom (sort of like an overglorified console system). The official Neo cabinets use the latter approach if I'm not mistaken?
  7. Yeah but how does it work? Do the cabinets support every possible display/sound hardware? I've even seen some cabinets be used with CPS3, 3D games (Tekken) etc. My best uninformed guess is that the game boards themselves contain all the CPU/RAM/hw chips/rom data which are then plugged into the game cabinets. I could be way off though, cos this seems like a really expensive arrangement.
  8. Would you accept that retard Eugene as a substitution?
  9. I've seen some general purpose arcade cabinets that support both CPS2 and MVS games. Question is, how is this possible when both systems on running on different hardware?
  10. NTFS supports file access security, encryption, auditing and journaling. Most of these things are not used by home users, although you might want to still keep it because it recovers better from a crash. You might also want to try defragmenting your drive to see if the speed improves.
  11. FF? Was there ever an FF fighting game?
  12. Flashy combos make a game very scrubby. Take the VS series for eg. Rather than complimenting gameplay, those dial combos make the whole game revolve around them.
  13. SFA3 A-ism. Why? - Combos reward you for the skill taken to pull them off. - Not overly flashy. - Integrates well into normal gameplay.
  14. *sniff sniff* What's that smell? It reeks of FUD.
  15. Most of the stuff on the list are apps that are used at the server/enterprise level rather than by the atypical home. The problems shown on the list are due to the firewall blocking connections to ports and a typical sysadmin should already be familiar with such issues as they aren't unique to Windows Firewall but all firewalls/routers in general. If a handful of home users are affected, then so be it. i would rather MS fail on the safe side rather than risk another Blaster or Sasser outbreak.
  16. On the contrary, I think this is the right move for MS. It's better to bite the bullet once rather than continue to support a flawed design. The number of gamers out there may be plentiful, but it pales in comparison to the number of non-gamer PC users who would benefit from the fix.
  17. i wanna see a video............. i still watch wwe , its gettin really pathetic , the best time i had watchin wwe was the invasion by wcw and ecw , now that was a kick ass storyline! , now its just stupid Am I the only one who thought that Invasion angle sucked completely? I second that.
  18. Storyline wise, I think the best era was the peak of the Raw vs Nitro days in 97-98. That was when we saw the rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Degeneration X and the reformation of the Hart Foundation stables. Lack of competition today has made them complacent and unable to come up with good quality shows.
  19. It won't happen as long as you don't pick up the soap.
  20. I personally think Orton is pushed too fast though. It would be great seeing him have a few more mid-card fueds first though.
  21. They were always planning to unmask Kane. the problem was when they were gonna do it. His unmasking really contradicts his own history and the character they built up over the years. Of course, this being wrestling, nobody expects shakespere but a little continuity would be good. When they first introduced the Kane character in 97, he wasn't able to talk and was supposed to be disfigured and have all kinds of scars on his body. Fast forward to 2003, he suddenly speaks and walks around topless with skin smoother than a baby's.
  22. Yeah, WWE really sucks these days. I really miss the old Bret Hart era days when solid wrestling dominated rather than lousy storylines and lame gimmicks. Long live the hitman.
  23. I always preferred the old WWF World title (the one with the eagle wings) design the the current "NWA" design It puzzles me why Vince McMahon would choose that over his own design which he built up over the years. I wish he would bring that title back (along with the old interncontinental title).
  24. Anyone knows of a good Linux CPS2-only emu that runs on slow PCs (Pentium MMX class) that is not MAME? edit: removed CPS2Linux stuff. it was bogus.
  25. I figured out the problem. My copy of NRX EGCG was buggy.
