  1. I think they were intentional (at least to provide enough energy for the decrypting process).
  2. About legit CPS 2 : true. But there 're numerous bootlegs using decrypted program ROMs (the encrypted program ROMs 're replaced & the suicide battery 's removed).
  3. Yup, but noone'd be able to find obvious & rational proves about the curses, but maybe it'd be more justifiable to call them tragical events if they 'R due to viral or bacterial attacks in fact.
  4. From : www.crystalinks.com/oetzi.html
  5. Z80 error -> Check Ur M1d ROM in Ur ROMsets.
  6. To resolve Ur 1st prob, just add the NeoGeo BIOS set into Ur ROMs folder. MAMEoX can read into numerous folders (see the options).
  7. Phoenixed sets in fact (battery removed & decrypted program roms soldered instead, in the carts)... btw it's not possible to save the decrypted program roms in ram, as cps 2 games require xor files to be loaded as decrypted.
  8. It 'd nice to add : - Fever SOS 980917 Unprotected Ver (aka Dangun Feveron international Unprotected) [NonMAME] ; - Final Crash (bootleg of Final Fight with diff samples to emulate) [MAME 0.101] ; - Cadillacs and Dinosaurs Bootleg (03/2005 dump [by EMMA Team] with diff samples to emulate, but not added to MAME yet) [NonMAME] ; - King of Gladiator (bootleg of kof97 ; C's seem scrambled as in samsh5bl & P 's scrambled too) [Non MAME].
  9. Do Kinst & Kinst2 work with MAMEoX ? If it's yes, 'R they as slow as Kinst & Kinst2 with U64-X ? How do they work in overclocking ? Thx. In fact, I never tried to launch 'em coz I use U64-X.
  10. Thx for the reply. About Bubble Bobble set, I think it's a revision with nothing more. If the Capcom games 'R simply ported from the PS compile, that means the games data 's compressed in.sr files & Final Fight should get the slight Gfx bugs . Btw, I 'd prefer the port of Hydro-Thunder arcade, it 's sad : )
  11. Interesting thread, thx PRican ! I haven't this compile, but I've seen it contains 29 games : Battle Shark, Bubble Bobble, Colony 7, Continental Circus, Electric Yo-Yo, Elevator, Action, Exzisus, Gladiator, Great Swordsman, Jungle Hunt, New Zealand Story, Ninja Kids, Operation Thunderbolt, Operation Wolf, Phoenix, Plotting, Plump Pop, Rainbow Islands, Rastan, Return of the Invaders, Space Gun, Space Invaders, Space Invaders part II, Super Qix, Thunderfox, Tokio, Tube It, Volfied, Zoo Keeper. My question : As I don't collect the great editors compiles, do Capcom Classic collection & Tecmo Arcade Classics contain recognizable ROMsets ? Btw, Midway Arcade Treasure 3 contains some unemulated games.
  12. KoV 2 instruction cards & instruction stickers (50 % true size) scans : Instruction cards (50 % true size [if U enlarge it]) : Instruction stickers (50 % true size [if U enlarge it]) :
  13. If U want to thx the dev of the downgrader, go to the official site : www.sonyxteam.com/
  14. If it's a clone (decrypted version or alternate version of a game), it requires some ROMs contained in the parent set (considered as main set to distribute the ROMs to the alternate versions) to run. In this case, U needn't to import them to complete the clone, coz the ROMs 're also loaded in the parent set when U launch the game. U need to set RomCenter in split-merged sets mode (go to options menu) to get the ROMs attributed to the clones only & see the clone romsets in green.
  15. It's a data file (in "RC" : RomCenter format) used as reference to check out the correct ROMs attributed to the NeoGeo sets ; open it with a ROMs manager such as RomCenter : www.romcenter.com/
