17 year old girl........what's with kids these days? Teens beating on their elders, got taught this time. Wasn't too long ago here there was an 86 year old who was attacked by 3 teens at night, and he kicked the crap out of em.

Hate to say it, but it serves them right for taunting the authorities. Has nobody read their page with letters/responses? Nothing but rude replies on their part, and they finally got smacked down. The largest problem associated with truck accidents IS fatigue, but it's not solely the drivers fault. The industry is like bidding wars these days. Whoever can do it the cheapest and the fastest wins. Companies forcing drivers on double runs, drivers being made to make fradulent log book entries to cover up the fact they've been driving longer than they legally should be without a rest. The worst offenders are actually entrepreneurs, as the little guy has to work harder to compete with the larger corporations that own thousands of trucks. Yes, the industry needs something.....and it's called FAIRNESS. Mechanics have to work by an industry standard for pricing guidelines. So should the transportation industry.

That would be WineX....and yeah, it runs some stuff ok. Very little in the grand scheme though. With regards to "emulating" Windows (If you wish to call an API layer emulation) it doesn't do a very good job there. What you're getting with WineX, is API call interception and recompiling, nothing more. Vista won't be any better off, infact it'll be worse off with regards to games. The next incarnation of Windows (Yes,, I'm already reading about Microsofts plans post Vista) will not be Windows as you know it......but rather UNIX with a proprietary GUI. Anyway, enough babble. I was just stating that emulating "Windows" isn't what you're getting, and Vista is enough of a stretch. You thought you had problems running your slightly older games in XP? Just you wait.....

One downloading something and copying it is one thing, another copying and SELLING is another and those people need to be pimp slapped. I'm not saying I'm an angel, but I don't get this logic. How does paying a few bucks to the middleman cross obtaining illegal ip into the unnacceptable? Maybe because you're making a profit off something illegal? That's different entirely. If you made something (Anything really) and a friend copied it and gave it to another friend, I doubt you'd be mad really.....maybe even flattered (As some artists consider it to be). But if that friend turned around and copied what you made, and sold it to another friend for $20, I don't think you'd consider it flattery, and I don't think you'd be too impressed. I know I'd be asking for my $10 share.....

When the major players in industries besides home theatre refuse to adopt your format, it's doomed. All the major players in the computer market are key, and 99% of them are on the side of HD DVD. The computer market is just as large, if not larger, a defining market point as home theatre for storage and optical media. Given the fact you and I will at some point be able to buy an HD DVD burner, and unlikely or at least MUCH further in the future, a Bluray burner.......go figure. You'll also be able to buy larger capacity discs than Bluray can offer not too far in the future, as well as dual capability discs. DVD/HD-DVD content on one disc. Consumers in the home theater market for a cheap HD player, will also opt for HD DVD even beyond Bluray because HD DVD players are still cheaper than a PS3. You can buy Toshiba's HD-A1 for $100 less than what a PS3 is going to hit shelves at ($499, versus the $599 price tag on the premium version PS3), and there are cheaper players out there.

Who cares if it's a "cheap" Bluray player. Can you spell BETAMAX? HD DVD is going to spank the pants off Bluray and you know it. Sony's proprietary garbage formats always wind up staying on Sony hardware.......always. I will get one when they're in the bargain bin price range though, Sony disappointed me enough with the PS2 that instead of being all excited to buy one like I was initially, I rented one with GT3 and another game and decided to wait for Gamecube............VERY glad I did.

Well I wouldn't want to lose the features mentioned, and $599 USD works out to 667.96 CAD so Sony can kiss my ass until that thing is nearly HALF the price.

USB hard drive caddy + desktop drive = F**K flash drives You can go so far as to get a slim caddy and notebook drive, for larger storage space at a lower cost. Flash media is still a HUGE ripoff IMO

Why choppy gameplay? I play Xmen vs Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom just fine on my Xbox, albeit it takes a fair bit of time to load. Why would the original (And you'd want to play it why? It sucks) Street Fighter be choppy?

I think some retard in the marketing department was handed this assignment, one who is paid WAY too much money for their lack of brains. Simply decided, based on Nintendo's "Wifi" kick since the DS, to drop the "f" in "Wifi" and came up with "Wii" How in the hell do you market to people who aren't gamers (Nintendo's goal) with such a stupid @$$ name!?
