  1. One thing I did not mention in my tutorial... Although MAWS database says that all NeoGeo games are 320x224 they are divided in two different sizes indeed. NeoGeo is: 320x224 and 304x224. Some games are one, and some games another. Why that? I have no clue... And if I am not wrong, could be sets that run in one resolution and sets that run in another, like for example Samurai Shodown. But again - I am not sure about this statement. I am just guessing. Cospefogo.
  2. I second the Double Dragon 1 and Double Dragon 2 driver fix! I do run the games in CoinOPS, MameoX 128, Mameox 0.72 and MameX B6 - and for sure - MameX B6 is the perfect one for both games. They run very smooth and the only slowdown is the original slowdown present on the REAL HARDWARE (when you have more than 3 enemies at same time on the screen). Cospefogo.
  3. Gentlemen, New tutorial created. For those interested in CoinOPS running with no BLUR and no filters, visit the URL below, everything is very well detailed there. http://fancyxbox.info/?doc=1&secao=coinops Rejoice! Cospefogo.
  4. Gentlemen, As some of you may know I am a huge fan of Saturn Pads to play emulators on Xbox and I even have two rare Saturn joypad adapters with a pair of Sega controllers in the house... but I was suffering a bit all the time because the Sega pads does not have the SELECT/BACK button! I needed to reconfigure anything in my dash and emulators to work without the back button... until today. With this arrival, my life is back to normal again. Hell yeah. http://fancyxbox.info/xtras/1.jpg http://fancyxbox.info/xtras/2.jpg http://fancyxbox.info/xtras/3.jpg I really DO recommend this controller. If you see one, sell a kidney and BUY it! Let's play, brothers! Cospefogo.
  5. He is coming to Brazil!
  6. Yes, I agree... But there is the original slowdown, from the arcade machine real hardware, and the extra slowdown that happens because of the newer Mame cores. It very very noticeable, just try to run Double Dragon 1 or Double Dragon 2 in Mameox128 and then in Mame-X B6, for example. You will see what I mean. Cheers, Cospefogo.
  7. YES! I did try and MameoX B6 really runs both Double Dragons flawlessly... However - There is no way to get rid of the BLUR filter. I tried even to patch the XBE with the flockerFlicker application (it works perfect on Mameox 0.72) but got no results. Anyone have an idea about a way to remove the flicker filter from Mameox B6? Flicker flocker just remove the blur in the GUI. The games keep running with some kind of bilinear video mode or something like. JUST NOW WHEN I FIND A REAL TRESURE this bad thing happens. Oh my bad luck! Cospefogo.
  8. It runs better than mameox0.72? Wooowww ˜˜˜˜! I really should try it them!!! 0.72 is already nice, but if this one is better, will get my vote! Thanks Fu.
  9. One thing I would like to see on Xbox: A nice - very nice and smooth - Double Dragon I and Double Dragon II arcade emulators. It would be great if some developer like BP, Kenshiro and others could take a MameoX and hack it to the extreme level, making both Double Dragons work smooth and perfect. I think this is not so hard to accomplish, huh? I really wish I could understand about this crazy thing of programming and developing emulators. Oh my... Cospefogo.
  10. Is there a way to make the emulator SAVE the CPU overclocking settings? I mean, everytime I enter a game I need to re-configure this setting. I did set up a exclusive CoinOPS JUST FOR Double Dragon I and II and it would be great if there is a way to make the edited CPU overclocking as defaults! Also, BP --- Is there a way to remap this option! Most of the ARCADE sticks out there does not have the THUMBSTICK buttons! Regards, Cospefogo.
  11. Please. Create a nice name inspired on the best animation out there: Hokuto no Ken! Cheers, Kazan! Cospefogo.
  12. For those interested, here is the answer: 0920BEBA Can't you see? 09 --- 20 --- be --- ba Hell yeah! Cospefogo.
  13. Hey BP, Is there a way to change the save location of CoinOPS Ignite (babe2009) using a hex editor? I mean --- I KNOW HOT TO DO --- I made it several time in other Mames... But simply I can't find nowhere in the hexeditor the "babe2009". Did you encrypted it or something else? Please, help me, it's important. I did break down my roms in several different groups sorted by screen resolution (320x224 - 256x224 - 256x240) and I was able to setup perfect PIXEL SHARPEN configuration for each screen... Now the last step is to install 3 different CoinOPS Ignite, and this is why I need to change the save location. Thanks! Cospefogo.
  14. Finally I did test CoinOPS and hats off to BP. Superb work. And I really really appreciate the wonderful job on CoinOPS Ignite, and I am really really using it, and I am really really enjoying it... But a small part of me is still attached to the old HK$ Mameox128 because I still can get SHARPEN graphics in the game. I will check my config, but I think it is because the SIMPLE 2X filter. Yes yes, ImThePesterGuy, but this is the way I live. No blur, no smoothing, not flicker filters. Yeah. Please, I am not complaining, I am just saying words about the last thing that still hooks me up to Mameox128 in some games. For those who don't know how paranoid I am with SHARPEN graphics, visit my site at: http://www.fancyxbox.info Cheers!! Great job, BP!!!
  15. TWO HELLSFURY! Damn it Ray... I knew it! I knew I was not wrong, ha ha ha ha. Cheers, Cospefogo.
  16. Jesus Christ Lord Almitghy!!!!!!!!!! DRAGON QUEST 3 for SNES was finally translated to English! I will suspend all other gaming sessions right now just to play this treasure! More details: http://www.romhacking.net
  17. I already changed the keys. All my setup now completely eradicated the BACK button. I am happily playing my fav games with the official Sega Saturn pad with no rash. (...and with NO BACK! Ha ha ha) Yeah.
  18. Yes, I have been using HK$ for a long time and this weekend I finally did take the time to test CoinOPS ignite and I like it very much. Very nice work, BP. But there is only one thing I haven't checked yet: Is the recording/hi-score saving feature working correctly? Best, Cospefogo.
  19. A-haaaaa~~~! So this is it! Thanks man. I will do that later today! And talking about CoinOps, I am searching fo a nice lightgun to use in my Xbox, what do you guys recommend? I use a standard CRT 4:3 television. I did try the Saturn original light gun but it does not work correctly through the Saturn controller adapter, and regarding that I am sure that a lightgun for Dreamcast will not work too (in the same adpater). Maybe Cospefogo.
  20. I think I am missing some info here... Pressing BACK button just change the type of view you want: By name By year By manufacturer and so on... But when I reach the instance By Category it does not show me the "Sort by type: Category" It shows Sort by type: Invalid And I going on the completely wrong path/method? Thanks Fu. C.
  21. Is there something BETTER than MednafenX-NES out there? I love MednafenX-NES on XBOX and I think it is a perfect emulator... Is there something really better than that? How is that possible? Wow! Cheers, mate! C.
  22. Is anything wrong with CATVER.INI? I can't make CoinOps Ignite to display the games by CATEGORY. Shooting, Puzzle, Sports, etc etc. Here this view mode says "Sort By Type: INVALID". Anyone noticed the same problem? Cospefogo.
  23. I have been into this matter for a long time, and all that I did learn was the following: - The only way to hook up a NES, SNES or Genesis controller in your Xbox is to destroying a official X controller and turning it into a "bridge". How is that possible? You will need to "solder" the wires of the SNES ontroller inside the circuit board of the S controller in the respective button "places", and plug the S controller on the Xbox. It will work like an adapter. But this is pretty hard to be done ---- AND ---- you will be missing a lot of useful buttons for the emulator GUI. - Another way (the best imho) is to buy the rarest Xbox Magic Box adapter. It is a adpater who permit you to plug PSX (PS1), Dreamcast and Saturn Pads in your Xbox. I have two of these and they are gift of the Gods. The Saturn pad is the best controller of all mankind. - Yet, you can buy in Play Asia a PS2 adapter and buy for you a PSX (the oldest, first controller) game pad. The one without thumbsticks/analog controls. This is the closest you will be to a SNES controller. - And, using the same adapter you can use the magnificent HORI PS2/PSX arcade sticks. They are SUPERB for MAME, bro. The end.
  24. Now playing the (in)famous Kid Chameleon on NeoGenesis. What a hell of a difficult game (I always play without save states). And thinking in start Fester's Quest (Addam's Family) for NES. The one which is like a "top view" adventure, not the other two games that are side scrollers. Cospefogo.
  25. Hey Sire, I love Facelifts! I will try this Faxanadu hack one of these days! At the moment am playing Hokuto no Ken on Master System (Meka X). Nice game... Much better than its American Version "Black Belt". C.
