  1. Maybe it is my old XP machine... But the CONVERT.BAT files does not want to work for me. The windows can't even process it. I don't understand why!! The .BAT syntax looks like perfect! Anyone tried it? Cospefogo.
  2. Hey Brother (you know I love you), I am here! Here are the numbers I was able to find for both 512x448 and 640x448 (using 10x11 pixel aspect ratio under 480i/480p). Also, together are the PIXEL SHARP settings already... For the 10x11 pixel aspect ratio users under 480i/480p! (640x480... full screen horizontally, but tiny tiny tiny distortion... accepted sometimes!) zLeft=-0.740000 zRight=0.800000 zTop=1.200000 zBottom=0.050000 SoftwareFilter=13 HardwareFilter=0 vsyncEnabled=1 pixelRatio=1 FlickerFilter=0 Soften=1 For the real thing (512x448, pure NES, but as you may know, with some black borders on left and right. [They really don't bother me!]) zLeft=2.079998 zRight=-1.699999 zTop=1.200000 zBottom=0.050000 SoftwareFilter=13 HardwareFilter=0 vsyncEnabled=1 pixelRatio=0 FlickerFilter=0 Soften=1 Please correct me if I am wrong. I did it in a hurry! Regards, Cospefogo.
  3. Oops... For what I see, this convert.bat script does "convert" the nice and friendly names used in the RessXtras artwork back to GoodNES format, and, for what I see, it KEEP THE COMMA symbol, for example in the file names. This is BAD, because Xbox FAT-X does not support several special chars, long names (more than 42 chars with extension), and the comma symbol is one of them for sure. Am I being paranoid, or am I not getting the whole scene here? Thanks guys! Cospefogo.
  4. Fool fool fool... I am a fool!! The convert.bat file belongs to the NESTOPIAX emulator! Ha ha! Problem solved! Cheers, Cospefogo.
  5. Hey Guys! I am trying to perform the operation suggested by NES6502 regarding the RessurectionXtras, however I was not able to find a RessX package containing the CONVERT.BAT file. The only package I got is the one from the famous RessurectionXtras topic in the Xbox Scene. Is there any other place to download it? Or is someone able to share the *single* CONVERT.BAT file? Thanks so much! I am very curious about this emulator! Looks promising! Cospefogo.
  6. Great News, NES6502! Just a question... When you mean the ROMS must be ZIPPED you mean .ZIP, right? .7z will *not* work, correct? (My GoodNES 3.1 is all 7z zipped...) Cospefogo.
  7. This is what I EVER DREAMED for a MAME emulator. Just opening a game and having the choice to display it on it original size - centered, or displaying on its regular mode, stretched and distorted and blurred filling the TV screen. Is there any chance for this to beeing done one day? Cheers, Cospefogo.
  8. Do we still have a single and universal screensize configuration for all systems? I ask this because SNES and MegaDrive/Genesis have totally different screensizes. Thanks! Cospefogo
  9. Like on Final Fight: "Oh my God..." I am always confused by the several versions of CoinOPS. Is this Showcase a new release? I have here (and assume) that the most recent public version is: "CoinOPS reignite R3 SHOWCASE upgrade" Correct? Cospefogo.
  10. Strange. I don't understand. You pick Exit from the menu and the Xbox reboots and that game automatically starts? That shouldn't happen and it has never happened to me. The only things in the menu that night not work the first time is Reset, and Arcade Settings. Figure out a game where that happens and post or pm me your path.ini and the name of the game. I'll see if I can figure it out. Sorry NES for my poor english --- and looks like you were already aware of the issue! Neoryu said few posts back: "The issue with some games needing to be exited a few times is in the FBL Readme. Nes6502 is aware of this issue." But any way, let me explain again - even on a clean install, with only Final Fight and Street Fighter Alpha 1 on the roms directory, the problem happens on different occasions. When I am inside of the game and I select the option EXIT GAME, instead of being thrown to the emulator GUI I am thrown to the game itself again, like a game reset. I even see the GUI background and a 'loading' message (or somthing like that, don't remember the exactly phrase), but instead of arrive on the rom list, I am inside the very same game again. Thanks, Cospefogo.
  11. Are these already identified bugs? - Everytime I enter a game, it is by default with SOFTEN turned ON. I turn OFF. Play. Exit the game. When I enter again, SOFTEN is ON once more. - Many many times, when I try to exit a game, the emulator throws me back to the same game, just like a SOFT RESET. And it is stubborn! I need to select exit games sometime 3 or 4 times! Thanks, Cospefogo.
  12. Yo, dude! The best, best, best, best place for arcade flyers is http://www.arcadeflyers.com Try it! Cospefogo.
  13. Hey Gilou, Yes, I suspected that. Thanks for your reply! Best, Cospefogo.
  14. Hey guys... How the classic Sega game SHADOW DANCER runs on FBL for you? Is it running smooth, perfect? I am curious to see something... Just let me know about the performance of Shadow Dancer on your own FBL installs! Thanks, Cospefogo.
  15. Yes! I absolutely agree with you. You are right! The favorites section solves the case! (It is sad because FBA-XXX never had a favorites section!) Regards, C.
  16. I, myself, prefer to have just ONE version of each game. Matter of fact, I don't like to keep full romsets for my emulators. I remove all the useless games (specially sport ones) and all the alternative versions. I really don't liked to open my FBA-XXX and find out one hundred versions of Street Fighter games. Ha ha ha... But it is just a personal taste! Cospefogo.
  17. Hey there, guys! I don't know if I got the whole idea, but Final Burn Legends runs only a limited number of titles, correct? Or it runs all the games like the old FBA-XXX-Pro? And more... Is it capable to run most of the classic MAME games? Like Toki, Shadow Dancer, Shinobi, E-Swat? Thanks! C.
  18. Mr. Alvarez 735? Ha ha. It's nice to find you here. Best regards, Cosme.
  19. First Console = Atari 2600 First Computer = TRS-80 Color Computer Best Console Memories = Sega Mega Drive Best Computer Memories = PC Pentium 2 running DOS games
  20. OH MY GOD. IQ_132 you are THE MAN. Thank you VERY much for your hack on Double Dragon 1. The game now runs perfectly! No slowdowns anymore! I am shocked. I did try to run Double Dragon 2 and noticed a slight difference too... Looks like Double Dragon 2 is also working better. Not as perfect as Double Dragon 1 but it seems to be a bit faster than the original rom. Maybe I am imagining things, and to be sure - your hack on CoinOPS R3 showcase affects only Double Dragon 1 or Double Dragon 2 as well? One thousand thank you again, sire! And eternal thanks to BP for the AMAZING CoinOPS emulator. Cospefogo.
  21. Hello BP! Thanks for your reply. I see this on the VM.TXT: nslasher 2 16 65535 nslasherj 2 16 65535 Any ideas of what do I need to change on NSLASHERJ? And, I am using: CoinOPS reignite R3 SHOWCASE upgrade Is there yet a newer version out there? Thanks again, Cospefogo.
  22. Gentlemen, ladies, children and lovely animals, Finally I took the time to run CoinOPS ReIgnite and finally I did play Osman and Night Slashers. Incredible games! Atonishing games! Superb games! However Night Slashers JAPAN version does not work on my Xbox 1.6b. Everytime I try to run the game I get the MALLOC ERROR (Out of memory). Is there any way to correct this? I did think about messing with VM options, but I never changed anything there in the past because 100% of the games ever worked flawlessly, right out of the emulator menu. Can someone please give me a hand? I really want to play Night Slahshers on its real feeling - with blood and gore! Thanks, Cospefogo.
  23. GAIN GROUND is THE GAME! Wow!!! I love it... but never played the Arcade version. Just the PC Engine and the Sega Mega Drive one! Cospefogo.
  24. Ok, no problem, BP! Thanks for the fast reply! Regards, C.
