Wizard Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 SSVS is the final game developed for their MVS arcade board and AES home system. I say final game, because other companies might still put out games for the Neo-Geo system, just SNKP won't support it anymore.
Agozer Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 I second that. Does anyone know if the new SNK games will be on a new hardware if that so this means SSVs will be the last neo geo rom.Well, SNK Playmore is going all out with Sammy's arcade hardware, Atomiswave.
Serge Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Thx K'Dash Agozer That good news and bad news. Farewell Neo geo but at least SNK games would look much better I hope HI res sprites come to me muwahahaha.
Dooz Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 The second unfortionate part is that Atomiswave is still unemulated. Which is exactly why SNK moved from Neo Geo to Atomiswave.
L.S.D Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 But then Atomiswave is not that far off.But it will take time.By that time, I would have already bought the PS2/XBox version (Which I will do anyway, even if I have the rom. Nothing can beat playing KOFon a 43 inch TV)
Hiroshi Nohara Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 I'm gonna ask emule for it later, and when I find it, I'll hope bittorrent's working enough so I can put it up here.So no link, people playing it already, i love playing with ukyo, bust ukyo even better. Haven't even heard of the db,qcfS move... and with Doom 3 and Half Life 2 both gold, this is gonna be a busy time. And Dead or Alive Ultimate coming in September!
Hiroshi Nohara Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 OK, no go... I think it's samsh5sp, is that true? And do I need a special Kawaks or something to play this? And the db,qcfS is just the same as qcfS.

I am definitely not going to be one of them
[S4]The Phantom Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 love playing with ukyo, bust ukyo even better. Haven't even heard of the db,qcfS move... And the db,qcfS is just the same as qcfS Uyko's 1236S move is an air move. Ok, what move are we talking about here? K'Dash is talking about Tsubame Gaeshi. Nohara must be referring to Kagerou(fireball)? Which is which?
Hiroshi Nohara Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 (edited) Hey isn't it the one where he does the fire swoop (I'm sure that's his only air move)? sheesh, I've been doing it the hard way with db first before the 1236S part. Don't know anything about fireballs.Sorry, emule turned up nothing. I saw somewhere that the name was samsh5sp though. Edited July 27, 2004 by Hiroshi Nohara

I didn't think there was bust OR slash in SSZ or SSZ:Special...
Wizard Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 Your right, there isn't any BUST\SLASH Selections in SSV/SSVS. Since some characters got their move lists combined. While other characters, like Ukyo, didn't have their bust moves combined with their slash count parts.
Gryph Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 I really liked the Bust/Slash options. Added alot of variety to the game, another reason why I wasn't too fond of SSV.
