The Bank Job

It sucks in the beginning, but then it manages to really pull you in after that.

First movie I saw was actually a Showtime film called Our Fathers.

It's about the Roman Catholic Church sexual abuse scandal and boy... for one of those "made for TV" type of movies it was pretty good. Of course, you also have to take it for what it is. I honestly hated the actors portraying the priests (that's how great [though simple] a job the actors did), but somehow felt disconnected with the actors portraying the adults that were molested/raped as children. And the kids did an amazing job on the flashback scenes. I'd probably give it a 6 or 7.

Afterwards I watched Mr. Woodcock.

What a waste of time. I probably chuckled a few times and was waiting the rest of the time for the movie to pick up. After introducing every character you pretty much figure out what's going to happen... I mean, it's a film with Billy Bob Thornton. Seriously. He's like the same exact character in every movie, just in this one they give him the whole compassion bit like they did in Bad Santa. Bad News Bears doesn't count, I hated that movie and wish they never touched it. 4

Vantage Point

Solid idea. Puzzled story, different point of views and some action.

I Am Legend

I digg movies focus on single actors and scenes. I can recommend the both version' box.

Street Kings

Keanu Reeves as a officer "clearing the hood"-thriller sorta.

It's ok and simple. If you want to beat badass guys, keep it worse than badass.

Spanglish

Honestly was surprised. Paz Vega does lovely. And Mr. Sandler seems a smart actor to me.

The Dark Knight, The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man. DK blows the other two away but the Hulk was a decent movie, Iron Man too in it's own way, if a little slow in getting started.

I still can't really wrap my head around Norton as the Hulk though, or Downey Jr as Iron Man come to think of it.

Double Indemnity is great.

I haven't seen Blue Velvet yet...

Yeah it is. They don't make em like they used to.

Blue Velvet is a must see!

Hell Boy II - decent movie, but the story isn't special. The quirky characters are well designed and executed, though.

Last thing I actually watched....messing around with XBMC...a porn compilation after setting up my video folder..lol.

Last movie I watched...Dark Knight...it was a great screener copy...didn't care for the movie...too long and a lil boring.
