Unlike stepmania though, if you want FoF to actually be like Guitar Hero, you'll need a master or recreate all the guitar parts yourself with some software to add teh fub ups.

 

 

I tried it, NOT FUN.

 

But hey, it's the only way I'll be able to play Metallica and Radiohead songs with a controllitar.

 

Who cares though, I actually play guitar.

And Guitar Zero? Did you tried that? It will not be continued, but for the GH-Fans out, it seems to be fun.

I guess I wasn't the only one underwhelmed by the Hellgate London demo. Cod4 is being reserved for my 360, definitely going to pick up UT3 in the future.

November is DROOL for PC gaming! Too bad my x1650 is sitting here needing RMA. I certainly can't run those with this crappy x600SE I picked up for the time being.

Guitar Hero is something I would NOT play on a PC. That's definitely a console, have fun with lots of people on a large screen TV type game. Plus I suck a lot at Guitar Hero.

Well since my computer is on a 32 inch, this shouldnt be a problem at all. Also i dont own any Next gen Consoles and My PS2 looks like crap on this TV. So This Game is a must Buy for me

If you like Guitar Hero, why not using Frets on Fire?

It's great to play, it is designed for the PC and it's free!

UT3 and Crysis are my MUST-BUYS of this months, last great game I bought was HL2-Orange Box!

I have FoF, but it isnt very fun at all. Even with the X-Plorer since it works on the PC, its still quite Boring.

I'm looking forward to Assassin's creed(360 ver.) just because the producer, Jade Raymond is so damn hawt that it warrants a purchase. As for Crysis, that was my most anticipated fps since last yr, but since I have a crappy pc and still living in the DX9 gen, I'll have to wait til the game is fully optimized with no problems and after building my next pc (w/directx 10 card and at least a duo core), I would consider so.

Looking forward to COD3 and UT3 myself. I haven't really been following the hype on Crysis and Assassin's creed. Still iffy on Hellgate because of that premium user junk or something like that.

I did not saying anything about the 360 ver is superior compare to the pc ver, in fact, I'm not even sure which is better, and quite frankly, I don't care. Well my card really sucks still, so what's the point? I want all the bells and whistle dammit without forking over a new pc.

The gameplay looks pretty tedious I think. The free running lots hot but the rest isn't too impressive. I can't stand that stupid futuristic flashy thing that happens a lot in the game.

I'm kidding about the Jade part, but she is hawt tho, I'd hit that. Besides, the game looks to be good, I wanted something new for a change besides the generic fps I've seen so far (jericho, cod4, blacksite, etc). And remember, she only shows a teaser of what the gameplay would turn out to be, I'm sure the full game won't be all you see in the demo.

 

oooo, I almost forgot. Soldier of Fortune 3 (someone update the list). Even though it's not developed by the same people who worked on Double Helix, from the gameplay videos so far, I kinda like it and it might turn out quite good. New gore system ftw!

Can someone bring me upto speed with what exactly is wrong with Hellgate London? I wanted to like it, but the mehish looking trailers a while back turned me off. For that reason I haven't bothered downloading the demo. What didn't you guys like about it?

Gears of War is for XP and Vista.

The combat looks tedious. The free roaming on foot is the only attractive part of the game for me. I'm not paying $50 to run up walls.
