well, speaking for myself, i have never posted a link to a site that makes you vote for roms or isos. nor have i ever experianced this with one of the links posted here by one of our other members. im not calling you a liar or anything, im just saying that i have never encountered such a thing here. as for this problem, post the links to the sites inwhich you are having trouble with and we will help you learn how to navigate through them.

well, i tried nero. didnt work. its not the software, its the joliet system. it only allows 64 characters in a file name. sucks that i have to change the name of the rom, ohwell. ps-cinder, since you mentioned that nero never gave you problems with this sort of thing, maybe you know of a way to get around this perhaps? if not, its cool.

i couldnt remember mine either. it doesnt matter though, just register again. that'll work.

well, the sad fact is i am missing a few of those issues. when they came out i was out of town and couldnt find a comic book store anywhere. when i got back, the only ones my regular store had left were all messed up from people thumbing through them and junk. im trying to find a scan of the books on direct connect. they have comicbook scan hubs with ALOT of stuff. i wish i knew a site that had comic book scans, that would be awesome! anyway, if i can dig out the ones i have, they are all boxed up, i could possably make scans of them for you if you want. the only problem is trying to remember exactly where they are. but man, that was a great story. when magneto rips wolverines animantium out of his body, BRUTAL!. , thats when xavier got fed up and errased magneto's memory.

same here. i have never had to reformat with xp though, that os is awesome. ive never had 1 problem with it. but on my other pc, i have windows me, so reformatting is a necessity really. i do it once every few months.

to reformat, all you have to do is pop in the windows cd and follow the instruction they give you. with xp, it should be real easy i think.

i ha d the same prob once, but with windows me. DAMN YOU WINDOWS ME! DAMN YOU TO HELL! sorry, i just hate that os soooo much. anyway, i just reformated my hd. i didnt bother with trying to really fix the prob manually cause i dont keep anything important on my hd, plus i always make cd backups of everything. maybe you could try system retore, but i have never used it myself.

hmm...so its a british exclusive? i see. i dont think i can help you then. my knowledge exists with only american comics. did you try searching for maybe an online price guide or something? maybe try http://www.wizardworld.com. they are an american magizine/site, but they may have som info on british releases of marvel comics.

do you mean spectacular spiderman? if so, then they are worth about $3.00 each u.s.. what is the title of the story? i also have alot of old spidermans too.

yah, easy cd creator only lets you have 64 characters in a file name. sucks big time. but its actually the only problem i have had using the software, besides not being able to write isos properly to cd, but in that case i just use cdrwin of fireburner. cdrwin and fireburner both support more characters in a file name, but for some reason, today they both decided to be jerks. i do have a copy of nero but it isnt installed. i will do that now and then give it a try. if it doesnt work, it doesnt matter, cause i already wrote them all to cd by just raring them all together. so i was able to keep the origional file name. thanks for your help.

if you already know how to do it, then what is the problem? if you are asking how to make each split file bigger, you have to "write it" in the box. the same box that you see "autodetect" in. other than that, i dont know what you are trying to say.

using winrar, select the files you wish to rar, then click on "add to archive" in the "commands" section. when the window comes up, look to the bottom left corner where it says "split to volume bytes". in the bar write down how big you want each file to be in bytes. example : 4mb = 4,000,000 bytes. let me know if you still do not understand.

cool. is the gamecube going to have its own online gaming network aswell? i thought i heard something about that. maybe not for a while though huh? it would be way cool if it does. also, i want to comment on a certain game for the gamecube, star wars bounty hunter. now is this the coolest game you have ever seen or what? personally, as a kid i always chose to be boba fett when my friends and i would play star wars. i thought he was the coolest by far. sure, jango is no boba, but hey, he's the next best thing right? i hope the game is as good as it looks and as good as i have read. definately it will then be one of my first buys. first four games i think i will buy : 1-mario sunshine 2-batman 3-resident evil 4-bounty hunter

they dont have to be people from your area where you live. they can be from other forums, chat rooms etc. thats what i do(im trying to at least)is to bring people from other forums and stuff. just help them out and stuff until you build up a friendship of sorts. then, when they ask, "whoa emsley, how come you are soooo smart? and where do you get all these links to roms and isos?" then you will say, "from EmulForums!! the greatest place on the net!" get the idea?

im glad you like it. but, just to clear things up, onslaught is professor x's alter ego, not magneto's. let me explain. professor x erased magneto's memory, as a result, professor x developed this alter ego. when it eventually took over, professor x ceased to exist, and all that was left was onslaught. its a common mistake, but dont feel bad, im a major comic book geek.

hi all. i am a bit mift. my problem is this. i am trying to write my nes roms to a cd-r using easy cd creator. easy enough. except it wont let me cause it says the file names of ALOT of the roms are too long. i dont want to change the names of the roms at the cost of getting confused. please save me. does anyone know how to change the amount of characters easy cd creator will let you have in a file name, to make it more? or does anyone know of a cd writing software that will let you have files with really long names? im counting on you guys. please help me.

we have alot of users that dont post because they are lamers that just wanted gamecops software. to get it, they had to register.
