oh yeah! that game looks as straight as hell. definately on my list. i thought about that, but i decided to put it in here. my reason, current affairs has too many posts, and this section has too few. any imformation avaiable for these systems, emulation wise, is few and far between. but i think it could go in either section.

man, is my heart racin. the talk around work is that the christmas bonus this year is going to be huge. so huge, that after buying everyone a present, i will still have enough left over for myself. guess what im getting. A NINTENDO GAMECUBE!!!!!!!! man, is that ever going to be sweet. now i know some of you are like, "what!? what about a ps2 or x-box?" sure, those systems have better graphics, etc etc. but im looking for more than that. the first is, ofcourse the Nintendo name. now how could you go wrong with nintendo i ask? my friend has all three of the new systems. he lets me borrow the ps2 or x-box anytime i want. but for some reason, he wont let me borrow his gamecube. that tells me alot. second thing, are the titles available. mario sunshine, pickmon, sonic battle, batman, batman 2(coming soon), all the star wars titles, resident evil, THE LIST GOES ON AND ON... and im not intrested in playing dvds on my gaming system. i have a dvd player. so that means nothing to me. now, i know i may get ripped on for saying this, but the ps2 and x-box seem to alike to me. im sorry, but its true. now the gamecube stands out. im not just talking about the way it looks. even though, i do think it looks pretty cool. im talking about evrything else. titles, graphics, gameplay, sound etc. by the way, i really appreaciate you guys letting me vent. im just excited. so, anyone getting a gamecube for christmas also? or is someone maybe getting an x-box or ps2? please share, along with your reasons for getting the particular system. im all ears.

hmm...i like everybody. but yah, i understand what your saying. one forum i know of, not naming names, the "know it all idiots" that you are refering to hunt on "newbs" in packs. as soon as a new person tries to post something fun or whatever, they get ripped apart. no offense, but if this thread was posted at the forum in question, you would be getting eaten alive as we speak. as soon as i witness this sort of thing becoming a regular type of accurance at a forum, i leave. but, since i am a mod at this forum, this sort of thing will NEVER happen at EmulForums. not as long as i am here. so be happy, and post freely.

i understood what you were saying. i wasnt trying to stick it to you or anything. its cool. as for the links, thanks. keep 'em coming if you can. i rarely look for psx iso sites anymore. mostly i just get isos off of direct connect. so it would be nice to have someone else looking for sites and then posting them here.

complain, complain. yes, some of them i did get from psx tavern, but three of them i already knew about. anyway, these sites dont belong to psx tavern, they should be made available to everybody. so im just trying to do my part.

exactly, well put. i dont know how many times ive heard people complaining about old links not working anymore. with gc's software, he does go back and check them all before a release, ive heard him say this before, but after its released, thats it, no more checking. thats why we have updates. and inbetween them, we have this wonderful forum supplying fresh links to sites to quench your thirsts for roms and isos.

i used to own two different atari systems back when i was like 6 or 8. i dont remember which ones they were though, but i played on them for hours. i really dont know what happened to them. my mom probably gave em to good will or something like that. now i ask you, what do poor people need with a video game system? now i hope to get reaquainted with those old games. thank you emulation gods.

well, the ones in my first post, i put up a LONG time ago. so it makes sense that they dont work. as for the third one, tony hawk, i just tested it and it works fine. i tested it in internet explorer and in flasget.

yah, i know about that forum, never took to it though. i havent been there in like forever. nowadays, the only real reason i go to other emu forums is to advertise for this one.

yah, i do kinda need the external hd. it will be for storing my entire rom collection, so i need to be able to move it from pc to pc. i already have firewire on one pc, i just need to get it on the other.

ive got a huge upgrade planned for my "down 'n' dirty" pc. the one i use for downloading, ripping dvds, etc... i want : 1-40-60gb internal hd 2-60-120gb external hd 3-new system board 4-new processor, p4 1.6-2.2ghz once i have all of this, i will be a happy man. spare change anyone?

on my desktop now is a mock "blue screen of death" that i made. those of you who have used windows millenium, know what i mean by that title.

thats exactly what i used to do back when i had a 56k. but now, with dsl, it seems i never have that much time in between downloads to do much of anything. ohwell, im not about to go back to dialup, thats for damn sure.

here we go, back to the old nity grity, pen and paper. i love it. im more of an illustrator at heart, so i can appreaciate this stuff. very nice indeed. great line work in the second one. please, keep em coming.
