How can the US join the EU? It isn't part of Europe. The US is certainly the number 1 consumer of oil, it uses approximately 3/4 of all the world's oil, and is in no hurry to do anything about that appalling figure. As for guns, well I am anti-gun (well, it works here, most of us still have jobs, and it's safe to walk down the street), but I appreciate that US citizens are surrounded by guns, it's a part of life there, and guns will never go away. So, bigger is better!

CPS2 games had a suicide battery on board, when it went flat certain locations in RAM would be lost, and the game would not run. This was to discourage bootlegging. The Phoenix version (released by Razoola) has a modified ROM that does not depend on these sensitive RAM locations. It also has a Phoenix logo that appears when booting up. Apart from that, the game is the same as before. Almost all Phoenix sets are in MAME. The last 2 can be found in MisfitMAME instead.

Just now I had to find something on Geocities (emulators by James the Animal Tamer), and Reocities saved the day..

I can only guess that someone failed at setting up a dns. PDRoms was working ok a week ago, I grabbed quite a few roms for testing purposes.

It works if the favorite points at the forum index, but not if it points to the "View New Posts" link. I usually link straight to the View New Posts on most forums, and only this one gives trouble.

Oh, and it sounds like you don't have the bios. Do a search on the net for that.

I commonly find myself logged out, and it is very annoying. At work it will not remember me at all (well it worked for a week then never did again). This logging-out problem is one of the reasons why I barely post here anymore.

Dualis is a dead project, get IDEAS, NO$GBA or DESMUME. Also please don't unearth dead threads - make a new one and link back to this one if needed.

You sure find the strangest people to hang out with. I'd go with Inky's suggestion - dump the lot of them and start over.

There are no fully working N64 emulators, and not much recent development either, afaik. The best SNES emulator is bsnes http://byuu.org/?page=bsnes&bg=3 however you need a fairly powerful pc to run it. MESS emulates all 3 systems to varying degrees, source of last release is at http://www.mess.org/download.php

I used to be in that situation, long ago. Couldn't keep my eyes open, and nose was just a snot factory. Went to the doctor, had tests done, and they found I was allergic to everything except cat hair. Life was kinda unlivable, so I came up with my own solution... it took a number of years to work, but now those problems are gone forever. How does it work... well, snot accumulates in the back of the nose, under the eyes, which is why they are both affected. The stuff is a breeding ground for germs, viruses, allergies, you name it. So, you must get rid of it asap. In my case I went to the nearest handbasin and blew it out (it goes everywhere). You just have to keep doing that as needed until finally things calm down. Number one rule: NEVER SNIFF !! It just makes things worse, obviously. The stuff has to be out, not in.
