  1. i dunno about the sleekness, sleek consoles don't look good in a stereo shelf. also they tend to break easier. Any news on the size of the system though - can't tell from the photo. will it be smaller (hopefully) than xbox 1?
  2. excuse the double post.... new information. running the lastest f-prot antivirus i recieved the following info from the scan. besides all my.exes being infected i have: hke4.tmp - C:\Documents and Settings\*User*\Local Settings\Temp - status infected - w32/Parite.B@mm (exact) - unable to remove virus *User* being my administrator account this help any?
  3. thanks ugenn. i have located a couple of those registries, what do i do with them now? but i don't notice anything unusual...there are a coupe defaults with no location though. what does it all mean? excuse my inexperience at this...
  4. under the definitions set down in the 1994 Brady Bill, is designed solely to kill other people. it may accept armor or flesh-piercing bullets, hold a magazine more than twenty rounds, fire above a certain rate, etc. it's pretty bad that the ban is going to expire. Shame on those congressmen from both parties - and the president - who sold out to the NRA. John Kerry is a hunter and even he supports the assault weapons ban. Vote Kerry.
  5. okey, the problem seems to be that this benign but annoying trojan win32pf has manifested itself in my machine. it infects every.exe file on my hard disks (which i can remove) but only reinfects them again. after some work i think isolated the source file C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temp\hke4.tmp \which infects all the executables on my comp. my virus scanner can't remove this file and i'm locked out from deleting it manually. any ideas?
  6. i understand the history, but i just think a discussion like this cheapifies the memory of the people who died at the WTC, Pentagon, in Munich... but maybe i take this too seriously. History was one of my favoriet subjects in high school, but i always looked at it analytically rather than superstitiously or theoretically. I"m not criticizing you k'dash, and i do understand your point. Also, anyone notice how Bush keeps evoking the memory of 9/11 to boost his campaign? it's disgusting, like he's campaigning on top of a pile of dead bodies. Vote Kerry.
  7. what's the point of this? it's interestering and all, but it only serves to diminish the impact of the very real events that went on on Sept. 11, 2001. 3000 people died and that is what we will - and should- remember the day for. God willing nothing like it will ever happen again.
  8. point taken... "AAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY" right back at ya. *kicks jukebox*
  9. it's not that scary, is it, gryph? at least i'm man enough to post the picture in the first place.... sorry if i frightened anyone....
  10. heheheh.... only in America. as for the rest of you, here's my mugshot... if you all say Gryph looks like Kramer then i'm a dead ringer for Fonzie... for you who are keeping score, i'm 5'9 (175cm) and 145lb (65kg). don't say i didn't warn you....
  11. i now lend the floor to my comrade Agozer who shall say his first "what the evil bump" as a moderator.
  12. yes, congrats to both of you. hard work - and 5000 posts - does pay off. With all these changes, 1emulation is truly morphing into more than the sum of its parts.
  13. As was I. you don't get it do you... Read about it HERE edit - is funnier.
  14. Now children, don't quote the vice-president on the playground....
  15. Absolutely true. Anyhow, having acquired this new P1, i notice several intersting points.. the initial point of the arrow above the life bar is now about at the 50% mark, as opposed to the 15% mark with the old p1. which one is the actual MVS set to? also, after performing a zetsugi ougi, if you whiff, your life goes way down - also different from the old p1. which is correct?
  16. okey... ill have to find out for myself then. Is there a patch or can someone pm the link to me?
  17. you can find anything here... YES ITS TRUE!!!! good luck.. you'll have to find an already-modded system because all saturn modchips are likely out of production.... whaddaya need a saturn for anyway?
  18. woah, four people posted while i wrote that long reply... guess i was thinking too hard... p.s. excuse the double post
  19. agreed. done. i concur. couldn't have said it better myself. One of the important things about having intelligent discussions is learning to respect the beliefs of others. If you have your own beliefs, other people should not have to have it affect them. That's one of the major problems here in america - people who believe that their theories are so correct they must make everyone else believe the same. One day the truth will be learned, but until then its only as intelligent and worthy of debat as the "gamecube/xbox/ps2 r0X0rs and gamecube/xbox/ps2 suXX0rs" argument waged on message boards much less intelligent than this one. I'm truly impressed with the quality of debate here. It shows that the internet is truly a medium for intelligent discussion. and its true, nobody ever expects the spanish inqusition, even when they tortue you with the soft pillows and the comfy chair. classic stuff.
  20. about the new m1 that allows the proper fatalities: is it a hack? and are there glitches... i thought kdash mentioned problems with the circumstance of nothing....
  21. what timetable is it? the most recent CPS release to be officially supported in Kawaks is 1944 (US 000620) while Progear no Arashi is labeled (Japan 010117). So, if the most recent build (1.49) is from August and supports games up to June 2000, i reckon that by December or January we'll have the XOR's for Progear. Sound right to you Agozer?
  22. yes, the.dll in your Internet Explorer/Windows directory is self replicating. I had this problem too. Download the latest version of CWShredder (try Google for the URL) and follow all instructions carefully (Run only CWshredder and no other applications, etc...) This should fix your problems. Or get Firefox.
  23. agreed. i'm not arguing, just wanted to clarify. So, now all we're waiting for is a Progear no Arashi dump (dont care about hyper SFII, bought it for PS2 the other day!)
  24. just scroll over those objects on the option menu and they fix themselves. not a huge issue in my book, but maybe the next dump will fix it. as for now, gonna play some more....
  25. problems? i see no problems!!! don't be greedy k'dash. i stretched the image too...to 150% normal size. I was only showing how badass ukyo looks as he relieves Basara of his eternal torment... here we see hanzo break galford's arm...and leg... and ribcage... and skull...BAD@SS!!!
