yeah, Zophar lol, i wonder why that site is still online. Sure has some nice pages, but its way outdated. Anyway, problem for me is,the sourcecode for a fully working emu is a bit much. It has dozends of lines of codes one doesnt understand, unless you know the hardware of the emulated system in and out, up and down. I found a rather plain intro here: http://fms.komkon.org/EMUL8/HOWTO.html But i must admit that this sounds more like hard work than fun Sure, cant beat that feeling, when your emu actually plays something, but i dont know all these details about any consoles or comps hardware that seems to be needed, so screw it. Im not the guy who finds it interesting, to know how many dots an odd or even scanline may system X have in PAL and/or NTSC mode. Maybe i can learn to know some system, when i have nothing to do at work. Is an hour now and then, so maybe some day... Now I'd would be nice to know, what system is the most easies to emulate ? My guess would go on GameBoy here, afaik it has a 6502 CPU, same that was used in the C64 days and i even did some assembly back then. Sure forgot like everything about it in the past 15 years

Im curious about emulator programming. Is there some website to get one started ? Prolly quite a dumb question, but i got no idea what to start with ? Opening roms and parsing the contents ? What about the code ? Dont i have to code the chip somehow ? Would greatly appreciated any help and or hints on this topic.

You are always the sucker when employed. My neighbour worked for this shop a couple of years, did all kind of stuff, extra hours and the like, took all he was ask to take. Then his contract was due and that ass of a boss was like "yeah, no prob, you can stay" till the very last day, then he was like "oh, im sorry, no need to you to come back again tomorrow" That shop is closed now, no wonder, if you are an asshole, your customers will notice.

Spring all the way for me. The awakening nature is a great thing to see, its basically like summer, only difference is, its not that heavy air-humidity outside. Winter is just plain stupid. All dark and grey, all cold and ice, people die due to ice on the roads, sucks to say the least. But that maybe due to here, winter is only dark, grey and wet. Not much snow at all. If it would be damn cold and less wet, i may find something to like in winter, but the way it is here, winter sucks.

Totally pointless if his CPU is too slow. Unless he can afford a 6800 GT, which i doubt a bit due to the 5200 he asked for, the 6600 GT is the best atm, even if he must save some more. the 7800 is out of question for anyone who is not rich or not a maniac. Besides that, for emulation, the CPU weighs more. Check my sig, i put it up with my specs now.

an actual console ? I meant he rather gets himself a real Saturn off ebay. I got all my consoles there besides my SNES, which i got on fleamarket. Never saw a Saturn on fleamarket tho, but there are heaps on ebay, last time i checked. Should get one with round buttons so its modchip compatible
