Yeah this site is more than Rom Requests. But once you do get (if ever) to Premium Member status, it's like nothing changed...sort of. Don't be a freeloader just looking for a quick fix, this place is people who want to talk to each other about emulation, not just request in or troll around the rom section and never say anything. The sad thing is that many of the people who joined did so just for that reason...

If importing is more economical and allows you to get better hardware, go for it. If you're going to buy from the US, I suggest NewEgg. I don't know if they will export to Argentina but you could email them and ask them. They have low prices and very awesome.

Are you using the sound chip on your nforce2 board (I'm assuming you have nforce2)? If so, that's been known to have problems with Doom III. It doesn't make sense if its not compatible with your Klipsch 5.1 since that is the premier gaming surround system. Lucky bastard.

Yes...those days were best. My favorite games like that were the Quest for Glory series and Leisure Suit Larry series. Sadly those days are pretty much dead...LucasArt's axed the two adventure game sequels this year (Full Throttle 2 and Sam and Max 2.) The occasion adventure game is made but never gets any press or hype which is sad.

Hey, have any of you tried the CO-OP, 32 Player server, Ultra Extreme Quality, Gore, Rocket DM, Fightclub, Chainsaw Only MOD pack? I have it if any of you are interested. It's about 1.6 mb. I haven't been able to use it since my processor isn't in yet... flockers. But I found this pic in the the Mod pack zip file, it shows the difference between Ultra Quality and Ultra Extreme quality.

Over here the price is the lowest 64 bit processor (Athlon 64 2800) is more expensive than the fastest 32 bit Athlon processor (XP 3200+). I just recently bought an XP 3200+ because I didn't want to shell out the extra for a 64 bit processor, I mean there are no applications to take advantage of the 64 bit-ness. By the time 64 bit programs do come around, the prices of these processors would have fallen so I'd buy it then... But I think the A64 2800 outperforms the XP 3200+ by a small margin. But 754 pins is by no means old, just not as good as the 939 and 940 pin since you can't use dual channel RAM thing with the 754 pins. But it isn't that big of a disadvantage. And there are maybe one or two other differences. The man to talk to about this is K'dash since he has an A64 3200+. I don't know what the prices are like in Argentina but in the US the cheapest A64 is $140 on Pricewatch. And that's OEM so you'll have to buy an adequate fan as well.
