  1. I've never used 2000, but Windows 98 is better for compatibility, and apparently better for games. So I'd go for that.
  2. I don't eat or drink anything because I'm paranoid that I'll drop crumbs or spill something into the keyboard. And anyway, when I'm at the computer I'm either too busy typing stuff or too busy dodging rockets to snack. I feel so sorry for AntiWinner22.
  3. Got a link, Captain mate? I'm always interested in reading new stuff.
  4. I remember Ozzie Ostrich from Hey Hey It's Saturday, an Australian show that has now been axed. The host used to talk and present with a puppet ostrich. *sigh* Those were the days.
  5. The Amiga had so many great games made for it...which group of developers were your favourite? It's a tough one...for me it's difficult to choose between Psygnosis, who made such beautiful and evocative games such as Shadow of the Beast and also Lemmings, and the Bitmap Brothers who made so many classic games. I pick the Bitmap Brothers...because I think they made the best game on the Amiga, and one of the best games ever, in Speedball 2, and also they made my absolute favourite Amiga game, one that is always close to my heart...Gods.
  6. We used to have competitions about how many Hungry Jack's Whopper burgers we could eat (I think you Americans call it Burger King...us Aussies call it Hungry Jacks, for some reason.) The best was three Whoppers in a row, the record held by my cousin just before me and the boys all went to see a cricket match.
  7. Hahahaha, I'll meet you there! Do you still play Q3A online? I try when I can, and when I can connect to a decent server which doesn't have too much lag.
  8. Say you were marooned on an island, totally alone, for months, even years...if you could choose one game (and the console/computer/handheld it came on), which would it be, to keep you from dying from boredom? It's a really tough question...but for me, it would have to be Quake 3 Arena. I swear, that game never looses its appeal and fun factor to me, even when I'm just playing against bots.
  9. Sometimes that stuff disappears when you get to university, or when you get out into the real world, and sometimes it doesn't. I think it is unfortunate too. I disagree with you, K' Dash, sorry mate, but I don't think there is any excuse for such hierachies (if that's how you spell it), especially in the 21st century, in developed and apparently "democratic" nations, but they still exist. I wish they didn't...but then again I'm a hopeless romantic.
  10. But, they took so long to finally leave the second incarnation of Street Fighter (Street Fighter 2, and all those special editions), and people are saying they are going to leave Street Fighter 3 after only just 3 games? They got it right with Street Fighter 3: Third Strike (IMO), and they should try and build on it, not abandon it.
  11. A fast food eatery near my place was shut down because someone found man milk in one of their burgers.
  12. Go see your doctor, yes. It's safe that you do. Take panadol, and if that doesn't work, try something stronger, like Nurofen. It may be the computer screen, it may be lack of sleep, or it may be just stress. Or you may be a vampire without knowing it and your mind is beginning to boil every time you are exposed to sunlight. If this is your case, take your panadol with some fresh blood.
  13. Good God in heaven, not more Sims. Is T3: War of the Machines really that bad?
  14. So what if it turns out bad and I end up getting up humiliated? Are you going to enjoy my failure than? I'll relish the humilation of someone so narcissistic.
  15. I thought Clay Fighter games were cool too. But for me, the stupidest game ever is The Sims. Playing a game that (roughly) mirrors real life. How fun.
  16. Sorry, but I'm not familiar with your measurement system, so I'll have to post in the metric system, sorry. I guess I'm happy with my size...I'm not that tall, and it used to get to me, but now I don't really mind. I kind of like being short-medium size (in height, that is ) I'm about 174 cm tall (5 foot 6? 5 foot 7?) I weigh about 60 kilos, but it goes up and down by a few kilos regularly.
  17. I like the bottom one too, the colours work very well. You certainly have talent, mate, keep up the good work. One question - maybe put more emphasis on the words? They don't stand out too well, but then again I don't know how much you want them to stand out.
  18. So they're buming off my computers power just for their selfish acts of heroism, i dont buy it buddy. hahaha, that's classic Cominus! I think it is a great cause, Broom Hair. But will it slow down a dial up connection? I only have lowly dial up.
  19. Find the Article @ This Link I found this article quite amusing since I hate HotMail! They delete all your emails after 2 weeks of inactivity. 2 weeks? I thought it was a month. But I hate hotmail too, it can be so inconsistent, and the 2 meg limit is crappity.
