  1. I am playing BloodRayne. It's really violent and fun! That in itself is not embarrassing...what is is that I think Ms Rayne looks very hot in her tight black and red vampire outfit, with wavy red hair and very large wrist blades. But I have always had a thing for goth girls.
  2. I'm 22, and doing Honours year at university. I used to have a vibrant social life, but homework, work, a radio show and organising a concert have culled that for now. Anyway, I like chatting and posting on forums while I do homework - I find that it keeps me focussed, and keeps me sitting at the screen, or at the desk. This year is a tough year - once its over, I will reclaim the night. I'm no socialite - to be honest, I have only just started gaining self esteem and self confidence in the last few years, but still, I miss going out to pubs and clubs so very very much. Other hobbies include reading - anything from classics (I love Shakespeare) to fantasy, writing my own stories (yes, still working on my novel) and drawing. I like computer games, but I don't play them that much anymore. I think I have grown out of them, and I think many of them these days are shi...er, well, of not high quality. Emulation is fun though.
  3. Easiest: Soldier of Fortune Hardest: Serious Sam on really hard difficulty settings.
  4. Thanks matey. No Tizoc They should piss off Choi and put in Malin...or get Kim back in. God I hate Choi.
  5. It's not quantity, it's quality. It doesn't matter how many hundreds of moves each character has, or how many polygons each fighter has. It's about gameplay. And VF games are boring and dull and totally unfun to play. The fighting mechanics in VF games put me to sleep. And yes, 2d fighters are still much better.
  6. Thats why I hate dogs. I hate all pets. We should be allowed to keep humans as pets. All stupid people that fail elementary school and drop out/fail out of high school should become pets for more advanced humans. That would be the perfect society... I want Angelina Jolie as my "pet."
  7. Aww, leave poor vampires alone, they can't help who they are. I think vampires are quite cool.
  8. That was at the time when PS2 and DC were having a little console war. THe only reason PS2 won because they were advertising the hell outta it. Now Gates'box does the same too And for kids liking blood, sex and whatever thank Grand theft Auto. I never said any of N64 games were bad. I loved Nintendo's games but PS1 had an Ultimate 3rd party line up. I don't think that's necessarily true. I think cutsie games aren't the fad anymore. I barely know anyone who plays Mario nowadays, except for a few females. People want more visceral and realistic action these days - both youngers gamers and older gamers. Look at the movies - nearly all of them need their fair share of action scenes, or else they won't sell well. (This is even the case for movies which should sell well regardless, like LotR.) And yes, kids are getting older quicker these days...they don't like the cute stuff. They want something more harsher. I myself have never liked cute games...I hate Mario with a passion!!! The only cute game I liked was Fuzzball on the Amiga. I always thought that Nintendo picked a bad strategy when they marketed their N64 for a more younger audience, which resulted in them getting owned by the Playstation, which had more adult games on it.
  9. What an interesting idea! But some may find it too sheer. And may keep clear Reading with a malicious sneer Me, I don't mind All poetry is rewarding in kind
  10. I didn't like Halo at all. It was all hype and nothing else.
  11. Maybe I'm twisted, but I don't mind washing the dishes at all. It's lots of watery fun! And I can watch tv (usually aussie rules football or late night news and documentaries) or listen to the radio while doing it. The other day, I was washing the dishes while listening to spooky Diablo 2 music. For me, it's washing my car. I love my car, but I can never be bothered washing it. Cars are so technologically advanced these days: it should be able to wash itself. I pray for rain so that I can just leave it out in the rain instead of washing it.
  12. Runs well on mine. This is amazing. Game developers should really have a look at this. And it was nice to see a game with such a unique aesthetic, a different and bizarre feel to it. I love it.
  13. Does Sodom's name imply that he takes part in the act of...er...you know. Or does it mean that his wife was turned into a pillar of salt?
  14. I say GoldenEye too. I really enjoyed Extreme G 2, but I enjoyed playing it more on PC then on N64.
  15. I disable all avatars and sigs. So that must mean that I see you all as blank, opaque, wraith like creatures, with no real substance, simply wafting from here to there.
  16. 56 k, good for general netty stuff, not that good for downloads and quake.
  17. Welcome pestilence. I like your name.
  18. Man, Fatal Frame is sounding better and better! Yes, Serious Sam is a great game...it really puts gameplay, reflexes, fun and addiction back to the fore of games, over things like fancy graphics.
  19. Holdens are the number one target for car thieves here in Australia. They are a popular car. Noone steals my Dad's car, even when it's left unlocked. It's a really old Volvo, and nobody wants it! It has so much metal on it the military could easily convert it into a tank.
  20. Wow, there are plenty! Lemme think... The Diablo 2 soundtrack has beautiful gothic orchestra music. Matt Uellman is a genius. Starcraft has great music too. Warlords 2: Battlecry has some really soft and melancholy songs. System Shock 2 had some really great scary and funky songs. Quake games have the coolest music. Nine Inch Nails did the sound track for the first 2, while Sonic Mayhem did the soundtrack for Q3A, I believe. Mechwarrior 2 had some great, unique tunes. XG2 and Dethkarz both come packaged with really wicked techno beats.
  21. Thanks guys. And yes, Happy Easter to everyone!
