  1. "I know the guy and I can handle myself pretty well, so I am not worried about him. The only thing I am worried about is feeling guilty." Don't be such a selfish flockwit, Fatal Weed. It seems all you think of is yourself. Don't you think about anyone else? Would you like it if someone was banging your chick? How would you feel? Don't you have any feelings at all, apart from satisfying yourself? It appears not. Which says alot about you. I have been in this situation too, and I have never considered it. Unlike you, I have feelings. If you are such a player, and a ladies man, as you never fail to remind us here at this forum, go and mess with single girls. My respect for you has fallen alot.
  2. Planescape: Torment. Nothing else comes within miles of the games creativity and depth.
  3. Aparently, Far Cry is supposed to be creepy as. The screenshots of the game look amazing. But I'm waiting for the ultimate chiller, Doom 3! I can't wait to get it as I have finally upgraded my computer!!!
  4. I think SNK are the best. Capcom's fighting mechanics rely too much on projectiles and shoto-ish tactics. SNK has more satisfying in your face fighting. Capcom may have started it all off with lots of great, great games, but SNK has taken over the reigns now.
  5. Looks great, I like the darker stuff too.
  6. lol. I jumped off my chair when I disturbed the ghost sitting on the couch, in front of the fire in Alone in the Dark, and also when the ghost in the library appears to you in Thief 2.
  7. Alone in the Dark was a very scary game. Thief 2 and System Shock 2 were also scary. Quake 1 was spooky too. Planescape: Torment can be scary, because the story is so morbid and macarbe. Waxworks and Ooze: Creepy Nights, two very old games, were quite scary too.
  8. I don't have any problems at all with the sound in my version of kof2k3 on NRX, and the crc of my m1 rom is E86AF8F.
  9. I hope Undertaker goes all gothic again.
  10. I love cricket too. It's a great game. Go Australia!
  11. I just want my old Undertaker back. I've enjoyed wrestling for the last few years now. I think its best times was when Vince was feuding with Stone Cold in the late nineties. What a classic. But Undertaker will always be my favourite wrestler.
  12. Speaking of half circle moves... has anyone been able to do Tizoc's Big Fall Griffon? I can't seem to do it.
  13. BOW TO HIM!!! I used to love Skeletor when I was a kid. He owned crappy He-Man. I used to go to school all depressed, though, because Skeletor would loose to He-Man in every episode. It was only after a few years that I realised that, of course, he would always loose, because he was the villain.
  14. Also the Quake series, the Thief series, the System Shock series and the Ultima series. Thief rules.
  15. A very controversial one, apparently. Very gory and dark. I know they wanted it banned from Australian shelves.
  16. Wasn't the Doom movie supposed to star Stallone? Anyway, if they make a dark horror Doom movie, then I will be interested. Doom is a lovely gothic and evil game...the film should be gothic and evil and macarbe too.
  17. I can't wait. Sure, it might be crap, but then again, it might be decent. I thought Freddy versus Jason was a reasonably good movie...if AvP is like that, I'll be happy.
  18. Wouldn't Doom be more popular than FF? Lots of people just don't get FF...like me. It has a limited audience. But anyone, even some old granny can pick up Doom and kick butt. And Matrix Revolutions was poo.
  19. Thankyou people, I guess I'll have to make up my mind soon.
  20. I went to Evanescence a few months ago, it totally went off.
  21. I was never a big fan of point and click adventure games, but I'll sign because Sam and Max, along with games like Full Throttle and Monkey Island, were classics. I'll also sign because I think the current games market needs a boost, and that boost may well come from the past, when games were simply more fun to play.
  22. I'm going to upgrade my computer soon, the first time in 7 years (!). But I have really struck a major dilemma. What card is better? The 256 mb ATI Radeon 9600XT, just released, made by Sapphire? Or the 9700 128 mb? The 9600 is $100 cheaper, but people are telling me it is just as good, and even better, than the 9700. Any advice? Please help, because I can't decide, and if I keep on racking my brains over this one for much longer, my head is going to explode. It seems everyone has a different opinion!!! Thanks alot in advance.
  23. Here is another link with kof2k3 for mame32plus, nrx and kawaks. The nrx file is split into all the roms files, good if you suffer from 56k modem blues like me. clicky
