  1. And what would that be like I wonder? As in pay with the credits you get from posting? Yeah, I'd support that. (except that SA goons use real money).
  2. Yeah, I figured as much, I just though of asking to clear the fog. The idea is nice, unfortunaly this kind of work is by no means a walk in the park, if you get my drift.
  3. That's horribly false. ROMs are only legal if you own the game and dump it yourself. what if it's a cd and you rip it yourself, or if you have the propper BIOS on a machine, but you download the BIOS anyways cause you don't have dumping equipment? That's a gray area, IMO.
  4. You'd be better off with a regular Kawaks Loader and the decrypted bootleg set of KOF2003 (the one that works in Kawaks, Nebula, NRX etc.), since specific Kawks Dev sets are very hard to find and only work in Dev. But then again, that's just my opinion.
  5. IIRC, the set you and robbbert have only works in Kawaks Dev and maybe in MAME (and I'm not sure about MAME). kawaks Dev doesn't have Asr.dat because it isn't a Loader. It's just regular Kawaks with some developer thingamajigs enabled so that it supports some of the new games.
  6. if I remember correctly, there is an option in Admin CP/Usergroups management that let's you assign picture or similar to each usergroup.
  7. I'm not from Canada, what's your point? if you want to know Canada's take on this, ask K`dash.
  8. Rom images are illegal even in personal use, unless you've dumped the rom yourself from a cart/arcade board/CD-ROM you own.
  9. FBA is based on Final Burn. FBA kept the original Final Burn look for the longest time, but then changed drastically (only worked with DirectX7 + truckloads of other tweaks and changes). I think the latest version is v0.2.95.23.
  10. I don't want to sound like an asshole here, but that's a pathetic reason IMO . Well, I've never understood those CS fanboys anyway.
  11. I'm sure there's a pc like that in HL2 as well.. man the irony, I can't believe the enhanced CS gets something like this while the mother has something this flat lol. Ah, so true. I really love the look of the transcans in CS:Source. So life-like.
  12. I think you should stick to Final Burn Alpha. FB is horribly outdated.
  13. CS:Source doesn't count. I was just talking about HL2. But whatever. You do have a point, but I refuse recognize it.
  14. Shadow Hearts: Covenant OST
  15. Either way, I noticed the same thing, and I was quite impressed by the detail Valve put in there. Sure, it's lacking when compared to actual, real lfe computers, but still.
  16. The former Spririt Slayer girl (whatshername?) is just too awesome.
  17. What is this big brother big sister program? Anyway, I do agree with taratata, if you think that you are not cut out for this kind of crap, just pull out.
  18. Kawaks dev is evil. It has it's own specific sets. This is my set that works in Nebula 2.24 Loader and *should* work in kawaks as well: %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% System: NEO RomName: King of Fighters 2003 Game: King of Fighters 2003 [Program] 2k3_p1.rom,0,800000,B87049F2,0 [Text] 2k3_s1.rom,0,20000,DF422440,0 [Z80] 2k3_m1.rom,0,20000,396E17CD,0 [Samples] 2k3_v1.rom,0,400000,D2B8AA5E,0 2k3_v2.rom,400000,400000,71956EE2,0 2k3_v3.rom,800000,400000,DDBBB199,0 2k3_v4.rom,C00000,400000,1B90C4F,0 [Graphics] 2k3_c1.rom,0,800000,E42FC226,0 2k3_c2.rom,1,800000,1B5E3B58,0 2k3_c3.rom,1000000,800000,D334FDD9,0 2k3_c4.rom,1000001,800000,D457699,0 2k3_c5.rom,2000000,800000,8A91AAE4,0 2k3_c6.rom,2000001,800000,9F8674B8,0 2k3_c7.rom,3000000,800000,374EA523,0 2k3_c8.rom,3000001,800000,75211F4D,0 [System] CartridgeID: 271 GfxCrypt: 0 GfxKey: 0 ButLayout: 9 Fix: 0 Just a reminder that you need to change the filenames, and CRCs since you might have different roms.
  19. It looks like the region is set to US. Japan/Europe = Puzzle Bobble US = Bust-A-Move. Go figure. I agree that you should lay the Win95 to rest and switch to Win98 at least.
  20. James slaps Agozer around a bit with a large smelly trout. Well That Was A First For Me. ROFL. Me too. Ouch. I just wish that James would have used another kd of fish.
  21. Wow, that's harsh.
  22. I'd say that the articles writer has a very strong point and i tend to agree with him. It's funny how some people blindly trust and follow the crurch and politicians... No thanks.
  23. Why bother to design a site when you can just throw stuff into your FTP root?
  24. Easy easy. Just a while a go I read that they were going to release 0.91 and now they've done it. Won't they ever get tired I wonder... Nope as it is an on going project Yes yes, I know, I was being sarcastic.
  25. Barely buy? What does that mean? They are using the Meqon which is the 3rd generation physics engine (Karma being the first and Havok being second which is what everyone uses now). Third you say? I wonder what that'll be like. Give my regard to Broussard and and tell him that The Mummy demands that they pick up the pace. You can check out some very nifty demos here: http://www.meqon.com/downloadarea/downloadarea.php The cloth and liquid physics are very cool. It apparantly does calculations a lot faster than Havok right now so you can have more objects with physics on the screen. I must say that i'm quite impressed with what Meqon has to offer, but I'd like to see some of that used in actual games, not just demos.
