Now, do you have the SegaCD BIOS files? More importantly the USA BIOS since you are trying to run a games that needs the USA BIOS. You'll get nowhere before you have those files and set them up for Kega Fusion to use.

The ASR.DAT is supposed to be in the same folder where the executable is. If it doesn't work, you're DATs are wrong or then you'd better change the compatibility mode for Kawaks.

You need to set the region coded coded into the image to match the region of the console... or vice versa. The conosle region is set to Japan by default, IIRC. There is a tool called Satconv that can change the region in Saturn CD images.

Sometimes it takes to for the speed to pick up, especially if there's not too many seeders.

Yeah, the games suck in the eyes of the japanese. They want fighters (DOA4 is pretty much the only seller right now) and RPGs. Looking at the past Japanese XBOX sales, most of them aren't too hot for console FPSes either.

Why is that exactly? I remember reading several articles on how the urban legend of 'Burning at very high speed somehow makes a worse end result' was proved to be false. Burning speeds should have no effect on the overall quality of the burned "normal" CD or DVD, unless we are talking about console games (because those above all else are touchy), or the temperature inside the computer is too high, or the actual drive is somehow faulty. There should be no reason for a person to use anything but the maximum speed allowed by the used medium, unless it's something I mentioned above. Plus, the quality of medium brand, how well the computer can sustain the data rate between the drive and the HDD, and buffer underrun prevention make a world of difference.

Yeah, I read about this roughly a week ago. So far, even after saving my Chronicles of the Sword progress and then moving some older files, but save still hasn't corrupted. ... Yeah, it can happen later as well, but so far I'm in the clear. I say get the game regardless of the possible bug, and do a few tests by playing through the tutorial of CotS, saving, moving or eleting some older file, and then loading the CotS save. Personally, I'm not going to let one bug ruin my playing experience; it that awesome of a game. Or make sure that the SCIII data is the first save on the memory card, or keep the SCIII save on a separete memory card altogether. Somehow I doubt that SCIII will go Platinum, as SCII didn't. Who knows, it might happen. So the bottom line is: GET IT NOW.
