  1. According to that interview, Christopher Ganz really seem to be on the ball with the movie, and to really concentrate on the things that matter in the context of Silent Hill. I'm impressed.
  2. Maybe it's because of the context that sentence was used in. Who knows.
  3. In the case of BitComet, I think it was something about the client ignoring the so called "privacy flag" or something. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that BitComet can connect to private trackers without any authentication.
  4. I hope Siren 2 would address some of the problems that the first game had. That would be awesome.
  5. Come to think of it, the siren waas also used quite effectively in the game called Siren. I really liked that game, but the sheer difficulty of it eventually made me sell it. Man, Siren was good and extremely frustrating. zomg what the thread hijack.
  6. It loos like this "Getting the coon out of the cheese box" is going to be the new internet fad. flock, I don't even get what it means. I'm stupid.
  7. Proof that MSPaint can be a useful graphics tool... in the rigt hands. The problem is that very few people have the right hands in reality.
  8. If you ask me, all audio tracks that are in CDDA format always come after the data track. Track 1 is always reserved for data, unless the original GD-ROMs used some kind of a strange layout that deviated from the norm.
  9. TCPOptimizer should optimize everything automatically. At least for me it did. I don't use it anymore though.
  10. They aren't actually. Unlike most P2P programs I used in the past, eDonkey needs a central hub that peers connect to, and in the eDonkey network there are hundreds of these central hubs. At least that's the impression I've got. Somewhat similar to hubs in DC++, although there are no distinct channels in eD.
  11. What is this siren? A siren that you can hear in the trailer when things start to really go awry. Basically, it's seems the siren signals the shift to the Otherworld. Maybe.
  12. Yes. Love the siren.
  13. lol old. You've got to hand it to the owl thought, he has taken the internets hostage rather quickly.
  14. I'm so proud of our nation's schooling. I can just feel the love coming from that sentence.
  15. Well, a GF2MX or a GF4MX are too low-end cards for Chankast to begin with, so you really can't expect much out of those cards even with tweaks. Neither of those cards have advanced DX8 rendering routines, not to mention that Chankast requires DX9, to even function properly (and with that Chankast also makes use of the rendering options DX9 provides). Neither of those cards have vertex shader or pixel shader support, which is, once again required by Chankast. Fiddling with any of the pixel shader stuff in 3D-Analyze won't do much good. I don't really know what to say about that program either... sure, it offers a lot of tweaking, but ultimately, since the cards you mentioned don't fare too well, enabling some tweaks will result in a severely downgraded graphics. Even to the point where it's not even fun to play anymore. Ok ok, enough ranting. You could try to force small 32x32 textures, and enable anti-detection for shaders. Of course, there is no real point in disabling textures or rendering altogether for that matter, so... Disabling two-sided stencils might help, or on the flipside, will make the game unplayable. You can also disable lighting, but again, the game won't look too hot. Forcing software Transform & Lighting just slows down rendering, because the calculations aren't done by the card anymore, so don't use that either. You could enable the emulation of certain effects, but that slows down the emulation. .... So, if none of these work, then nothing else will.
  16. Thanks, but I already have my hands full of forums.
  17. I just took a look at Ergo Proxy, and the resolution borders on insane. Needless to say the image quality is top notch (1280x720). The story seems interesting as well.
  18. AFAIK, No it wouldn't.
  19. Soul Calibur III. Just too awesome.
  20. If you are kind enough to give me a link, sure.
  21. *Cinematic scream followed by a fade out*
  22. In some cases yes. In my case, when I was still using my old Pentium 200Mhz machine, I could get smoother gameplay in NeoRAGEx by enabling scanlines. I also grew accustomed to scanlines because they were always on. ... But now I've grown out of that.
  23. that`s if you are playing on psx but here is different I can't remember. I thought there are few special teams to beat but there is only one that can unlock him No, you can't unlock him in the arcade version in any way, unless you cheat.
  24. The one with the 5 episodes is the original Ah! My Goddess OVA. The newer one with 24 episodes is the TV version and it has a revised storyline (apart from the basics obviously). If you like Ah! My Goddess (and why shouldn't you), I suggest that you watch them both.
