if you have a full mameox 128 set then most of those will work fine with coinops,the only roms that might be different is the neogeo roms.

there are a couple of members here that have the xbox you mentioned with the bigger processer and ram,they will be able to tell you a bit more about it. as for mameox 128 the code for that was never in coinops/mamedox as far as i remember.

you can also try and look for baed 3a(mame) which is pretty much a full set for mame 0.84 apart from cps1,cps2 and neogeo which are not in there. but if you have baed 3a then this will give you all the roms you need and you can add to coinops.

i can tell you that there are some improvements with 5.1ce and if you use the ini file you will have all the best settings as far as i remember you do get some improvements with n64 emulation but you have to remember surreall is optimised for a stock xbox with a 733mhz processer and 64mb of ram as for other emulators i dont really think it would make much difference and that includes mame. as for you mentioning the x68000 emulator that already runs full speed,what to do is in the options screen when you select a game set the speed to 16mhz,this overclocks the x68000 cpu and you will see a difference if you think some games are slow.

this new version does not add anything that is not in surreallxxx b5.1 ce,stick with that version.there is a new ini fiel for this emulator which some members at xbox scene have been testing games to find the best compatibility. here is the ini file just replace it with the ini file in 5.1ce or whatever and run the emulator. http://www.mediafire.com/?mtynmv1qtgo you might need to delete your gamesave in t and u data foldrs and then start the emulator.this has all the best settings. edit/i should mention that v6.0 could possibly have some changes in the gui,buti am not sure.

pretty sure you can run doom in 720p hd with doom legacy,i know that you can set it to different resolutions. check your pm.

no because it wasnt in the first post. also the last blade 1 and 2 hacks and samurai showdown4 hack will load and you get the green screen of puke of you know what i mean then you just get a warning message,as in game wont start. do i need the uni-bios 23 by any chance?? as i am just using the same neogeo bios i used since mamedox platinum2. i presume you got what you were looking for and i think i know what site you were linled to the first post part in the thread gave it away. anyway, 1.reignite r5 is the newest version. 2.you can run it off a dvd but i would advice you if you have space in your xbox hdd then put it in as it will load games a lot quicker. also there is also a screenshot pack if you are interested.

most people are using the videos from coinops reignite showcase with final burn legends,basicaly pointing the path.ini file to the coinops video folder.
