Yes it plays banned Neogeo Romsets based off from the (old dump) default.xbe! Wahoo! Mine work shere!!! Just need that new samsho5 special romset to test out. hehe

Its now up on newgroup: alt.binaries.emulators.neogeo

i need a bit of help, i put the new default.xbe on my xbox, in my fbaxxx folder, and when i start the emu it keeps reseting, anyone know whats wrong?.

hey zero you have to use the new skins setup...get the 9-01-04 version and use the skins from that version in the new fbaxxxspec we just got....its a skinning problem

 

 

what is the proper samsho5sp.zip filename...cause samsho5sp.zip aint showing up

I wouldnt bother, I hear different thing, the complete dump of SS5 Special is really available, and yes, there IS sound lag in svcplus.zip! back to good old trust FBAXX 08/02/2004 build.

i got ss5snd.zip working fine...just do "copy /b 272-v1d.bin+272.v2d.bin....+272-v4d.bin 272-v1d.bin"

 

it will be 16 megs

 

then do same thing to the 124k 272-m1d.bin just add it up 4 times and it will be the 512k 272-m1d.bin that fbaxxx wants

gogo knows and theres nothing gogo can do about it.

 

I would have thought by the 11th page, everyone would know wtf the deal is with the sound.

 

The sound portion of the rom has yet to be cracked or released as a decrypted set which means everyone must deal with SSV sound in an SSV SPECIAL rom.

 

Its like watching Kill Bill Volume 2 wth Kill Bill Volume 1 sounds. the only way to fix the problem is to get the right sound for the right movie/rom and we dont have that yet. (encrypted sound roms are useless).
